Paradise Village

Can be hard to find parking when staying there. Would be nice for those paying to stay at the property would get a discount to use spa.

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom had heated floors. The cannibal hot tub and sauna are not included in the reservation. Located ~30 minutes from the Nisqually entrance of Paradise corridors. Located ~2 hours outside of White River Canon entrance of Sunrise corridor.

Cabin was nice and clean. Bed was great. Good linens. Smoke detector started chirping at 12am (unavoidable, but bad timing for me). Construction noise and worker's music right outside our cabin didn't stop unti 6:30pm, only after we asked when they would be done. Bakery didn't open until 9am, a little late for early risers.

Beautiful location and view. Cute and sufficient cabins. Best part is the cannibal hot tub. Food is good! Small suggestion would be- Needs to finish the pending building work soon!

Our family had a great time. The staff were all very patient and cheerful. Rooms were VERY clean. Some of the lights didn't work, and the stairs are iffy. The pathways/stairs in the back are uneven and if you have small kids or mobility issues could be a problem. We had the cannibal tub and sauna for a few hours and it was worth it after a long say of driving/hiking. Will for sure come back without the kids!!

We arrived at night so it was really hard to see where to go since there were no lamposts near the cabins. But staff at the lobby were very helpful with directions, and our room was perfect and clean upon arrival. The share bathrooms were very clean and stocked well too. They were also heated so that was great since it was quite cold in October during our stay. The Ukrainian restaurant on site was also delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

Property has construction going on, and has construction materials in several areas, not cautioned off. Additionally, several safety hazards, such as extension cord running over steps, stairs to the room we're falling apart and covered in old roofing materials, room had a broken GFCI outlet in the bathroom, and the refrigerator and microwave were both plugged into an electrical splitter, which is not safe in the least... I can only write so many characters, so I can't list everything I want to say. The staff was excellent though, and the property is very close to Mt. Rainier. Additionally, the Ukrainian restaurant on site is very good! They just need more staff... In essence, will we stay here again, NO. Will we stop at the restaurant again... ABSOLUTELY!

Fold out bed was broken. Mattress was molded. I slept in our truck because of the broken moldy bed. My family was able to sleep in the bed. Hot tub was not operating, bakery smelled like mildew. We wouldn't even try the the food.

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was quite nice and quiet. Very close to the entrance of the park. Private and you have your own parking space. Wifi was extremely good in the cabin. Heated floors in the bathroom were a very nice touch. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Only note i’d make is that lighting is a little limited in the room, an extra lamp would have helped. As a side note… not an exact tie to the room but they do advertise a restaurant onsite. When we arrived there was an open sign on the breakfast/bakery location but it wasn’t actually open at all during our stay. We took a look at the restaurant menu but the prices were just insane for potatoes and carbs. Not what you see online. This is no reflection of the room but something to keep in mind if you like the idea of food onsite - we did but never ended up eating there due to the price tag.

This is a serene property, the cabin is clean and compact. The small cabins doesn’t have wifi, and it’s not mentioned in expedia site. The hot tub and sauna needs to booked separately and not a part of your charges paid for the stay. And the reservation needs to be done ahead of time on their website. It would have been great if all this info is mentioned on the expedia site. The coffee shop isn’t great, the restaurant is average.

Very unfriendly staff- they made my stay extremely uncomfortable. The shared bathrooms are extremely dirty. Lots of items in various states of disrepair laying all around, piles of junk visible by the road and rear of property. Just not a good experience all around. Tried the restaurant one night and the servers are rude.

My husband and I stayed in the tiny cabin for 1 night and had a great time! I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the cabin was and how much room there was with heat control. Shared bathrooms with showers were right across from the cabins. I never interacted with the staff or front desk- they made it easy for late arrivals (we were at Mount Rainier later than expected). I checked in online and they texted me the cabin number with door code. Would stay here again!

I’ve stayed at the main cabins in the past, and as before, the stay, the staff and the facilities were exceptionally clean. No doubt that I’ll continue to book at Paradise Village, as in my experience, everything is always neat and extremely comfortable.

We didn’t know at booking that the bathroom not attached so was on alert for wild animals each night as I had my husband walk me. Grass not mowed. Room was not clean when we opened door. Front desk did give us unique delicious food to apologize, that we not have experienced on our own. Breakfast was supposed to be covered as an appology but we were charged.

We stayed here for a night following a trip to Mt Rainier. The hotel was rustic but modern. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable our beds were. Furnitures were solid and artistically made. They added modern touches to the room; like heated bathroom floors, big screen TV and USB ports built in on the side tables to charge our devices. The hotel is close to the road but it’s quiet inside the room. There were some construction going on in the area but the lavender field, beehive and surrounding area is beautiful. There were grapes and apple trees at the backyard where they host some events. We didn’t have time to do the Cannibal hot tub but we will definitely try it once we’re back in the area. The food at Ukrainian restaurant and cafe are excellent!. I have minor issues; the wires on TV need to be secured instead of letting it hang loose. The staff are helpful but I would love to see them smile a little bit more!

It was largely clean. Lights didn't work, exhaust fan in bathroom would turn itself on, bed was uneven and if you got close to the edge would make you want to roll out. Restaurant had music to load. Bakery was closed even though it was supposed to be open by hours and open sign was on.

Super clean property and cabin. Staff was very friendly, professional and hard working.

Pros: comfortable bed, on site restaurant (food delicious), easy check in and check out. Cons: mold in appearance inside bathroom above the door. Noisy easily can hear other guests having normal not loud conversations. Strange odor

They were severely understaffed and we waited for quite awhile to check in because the same person working the front desk was working the restaurant. We ate at the restaurant too which was a VERY long wait. The room was very dirty… we ended up checking out early at 10:30 pm even though we were exhausted and driving 1.5 hours to another hotel after realizing we just couldn’t sleep with the gross/dirty bedding conditions. In addition to the cobwebs and burned out lightbulbs throughout the lobby/restaurant/our room (it needs general maintenance), we found our room to be disgusting- the room had 3 spiders, mold on the mattress of the pull out bed, what appeared to be boogers on the mattress pad, and blood on the comforter which leads me to think none of it was laundered as we made the hide-a-bed. The bar soap in the bathroom was used by someone else and we found a Bobby pin in our bed between the sheets of the king bed and a pill on the floor. I just don’t think it was cleaned before we were there. Fortunately hotels.com did refund our money, but we were very disappointed with how dirty it was.

For the amount we paid the room was tiny and the stairs leading up to it were rickety and sketchy. The rainfall shower head spewed water all over the bathroom floor. The room was the top floor of a house and we heard and felt every movement of the family below us….which was a family with children who got up at 6am and didn’t stop running back and forth, doors slamming, for hours. The front desk staff were a little condescending and not friendly. The photos online make the property look beautiful and calming, but really wasn’t. Also there was construction going on right next to us, which was loud and disturbing. We ordered crepes for breakfast and they were cold, one small crepe with a few bananas cut up….for $15. The restaurant was out of several items and the pierogies were brought to us in a small bowl as if they just warmed them and threw them in a bowl. I will say I ordered the salmon and it was well cooked. Using the spa amenities is very expensive. For almost $600 for two nights, not sleeping well because of the noise, the dismissive treatment we received, many things with the room and property that were misrepresented on the website and/or not working, it was not worth it and we won’t be back. I was thinking even a small discount on the sauna or something since we were guests at the hotel would have been nice. I will say the queen sized bed was very comfortable. I never leave poor reviews for hotel stays. This is my first time. But I felt the need to post this one.

The property is convenient to Mt. Rainier National Park. The room was spacious. The staff person at the front desk was courteous. However, she was working the restaurant and the front desk, so there was a bit of a wait. We had issues with the toilet flushing. We were provided a plunger to fix it. There was minimal hot water for showers. The walls are quite thin, so you do hear your neighbors. The instructions for self-checkout were a bit confusing; we left the key in the room but there was no way to then lock the door. The space overall was fine for a quick stopover on the way to visit the park.

Lovely inn with beautiful grounds and excellent access to Mt. Rainier. Staff was responsive and polite. Food at the restaurant is "mid" and we found it to be very overpriced. My husband ordered a steak that was permeated with fatty pieces and almost unable to be cut with a knife. The other issue was wifi (or the notable lack thereof). One night was had zero connection and the next night was fine. Given the price of our stay, this should not be an issue.

The bed was SO comfortable! I also loved the heated bathroom floors. The staff was very kind and courteous, and the food was AMAZING.

Bed uncomfortable, had soft spots and uneven. Ran out of hot water after the 2nd person showered and took overnight to get more. Room was small. Expensive for the value. Thin wall. Next door tv was on and can't sleep.

We selected this property because of the proximity to Mt Ranier. We were pleasantly surprised! We drove by it on the way into the park and my husband was worried by the exterior. But this is not a drive by! We loved the updated room with amazing heated floors in the modern bathroom, comfy bed, and THE BEST coffee maker I've ever had in a hotel...Nespresso with a variety of coffee pods. The restaurant on site was SO GOOD! We ate there both nights--Ukrainian cuisine with other delish meals like ribs and lamb lollipops (ribs). The staff isn't the friendliest, but they are Eastern Europeans :-). Highly recommend.

Interestingly they had an amazing bakery next door with numerous offerings but on two occasions we ate at the restaurant there were only cherry pierogis available. We did pick up breakfast scones and cookies at the bakery that were very good.

The entrance area looked unkempt. Thankfully the rooms were rennovated as described and customer service was good when we had questions. They were understaffed which led to delays but the staff were very nice and competent!

Front desk is very rude. She was in the phone the whole time and completely ignored the people standing in front of her. Over priced for its condition.

The service was phenomenal! Victoria and Estefan delivered exceptional customer service to us. They really went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. I would definitely recommend the A-Frame cabin and we ate at the Ukrainian restaurant and the breakfast cafe . Sooo delicious. We ate the sausage omelette and waffles . for dinner we ordered many plates . My fav was the salmon and Mac and cheese !

Our stay was a bit bizarre. As a Ukrainian, I was eager to support a Ukrainian business. However, the experience left much to be desired. We arrived for check-in at 2:45pm. I went to the lobby, which was locked. An unfriendly girl opened the door, told me to wait 15 min, then slammed the door in my face. Ok I thought, let’s go wait at the cafe. There was a woman inside but the door was locked. She opened the door to tell me the place was closing in 2 minutes….. yet the flashing OPEN sign indicated it was open 8am-9pm. Interesting. Once we were able to check in, the room was basic. As expected. There was a coffee machine but no pods. We are thankful for the location, which was a quick drive to Mt. Rainier. Upon return to the property, we attempted to get dinner at the Ukrainian restaurant, however, there was a 45 min delay in service, since they were severely understaffed. When asked to speak to the server, to determine the wait time… she came back and rudely told us our food was being prepared. What food? We hadn’t ordered anything yet. Once we got the food, it was really good! The heated floors in the bathroom are nice but there is no where to put toiletries once in the shower. Once we finally got to bed, we were welcomed by the constant snoring sound of our wall neighbor. The walls are paper thin and you will hear everything. If you’re a heavy sleeper and are okay with less than subpar service, this is the place for you. Again, the location is great!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They walked me to my room and showed me were I could park. The location is great especially if you are visiting Mount Rainier National Park. Highly recommend and I will be back!

This was a lovely little "cabin in the woods". Super quiet and private. When we were there, it was obvious that they are in the middle of expanding and upgrading their site. King bed, very comfortable, mini split for heat/cooling, very sizeable private bath. Only about 10 minutes from the Nisqually entrance to the Mt Ranier National Park. We will definitely be coming back!

I rented a cabin, one of 3 with its own bathroom. It was in excellent condition, well appointed, and clean. There was a wedding going on past quiet hours and my cabin remained quiet, so it was not a problem. I was really surprised by that and I managed to sleep just fine. Having a restaurant attached is great and the cafe is also good. Staff is very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect for entering the national park.

Beautiful room only 5 miles from the entrance to Mount Rainier NP. Loved our visit!

Great little place for an overnight stay especially if you're heading to Mt Rainier. The guest room we had was well equipped and spotless.

This is a cute little spot. A bit of Different layout with many different buildings but super easy to checkin and out. Staff was great. Good jumping off point for Mt. Rainer.

Don’t let the look of the exterior fool you. This hotel was a true blessing on our vacation. Clean rooms, excellent Ukrainian food and great service. Be sure to try the tea! We will definitely visit again if we’re in the area.

Restaurant was a joke. We phoned ahead at 6.30 asking if reservations for dinner were required. We were told to come down before 8.20. When we get to the restaurant at 7.20 there is a sign up saying no more orders. We spoke to the survey waitress who reluctantly seated us, stating that we would have to wait 1 and 1/2 hours for food. The restaurant was half full. Our food came within 30mins, we both had the rib-eye stake and can confirm that this was the worst, toughest steak we have even had. Dreadful!
