The gym equipment was working properly.

Good breakfast, nice staff. Room had 2 insects, one of which was a springtail (which indicates a leak or water intrusion). Tub had rust (?) stains on the bottom, and some filth on the walls. Carpet was dirty, especially by the elevator on floor 2. A/C seemed limited to no lower than 72. Door to parking lot at the bottom of the west stairs was jammed (fire code!). Electric car charging would be nice to add. Even though our room was right by the elevator, I didn't hear it running.

The pool was closed the 3 days of my stay..

No a/c in lobby, and outlets not in working condition on bathroom. We are 99° in south texas,imagine breakfast in hot dining room???

Our stay was great, the beds were firm (not my favorite) but my husband was comfortable. The breakfast had variety and was hot. The only concern for some which didn’t bother us our room 322 was next door to a car dealership whose lights stayed on all night. If you want a dark room ask for the other side of the building. The fitness center was fine, the TV didn’t work and it eas a little musty smelling from lack of air circulation. Would stay again.

The only one Elevator out of order. The manager should stop and reject any reservation, or highlight the situation on the web page for guest consideration.

I was not impressed that the floor in the restroom did not looked swept or mopped and there there was no tissue available. When asked for other type of milk at breakfast, was told no that one was all they had. They did make more eggs upon request which was nice of them. Elevator was dirty. There was a gym that seemed well stocked if this was one of those trips .

Cleaning staff came into my room very loudly around 8am and did not knock or say they were housekeeping. With that said, this hotel does not have a security latch on the inside, so you’re while in the room hotel staff or housekeeping can access your room. Would not stay here again for that reason alone. Bathroom was very dirty, tub had brown stains and there was a strong mold smell all throughout the hotel.

Stay far far away from this disgusting mold and ant infested property. I have never wrote a review before in my life but felt like it is very necessary in this case. We arrived after midnight Friday so it was super late when we checked in. Immediately entering our room was an overwhelming smell of mold. The carpet was super moist but it was super late and dark and we thought maybe we were smelling things. The morning came and my gut was right. We found mold all over the room and they tried to hide it and cover it up with the furniture. I immediately went downstairs to complain to management and the first thing they said was there was no mold in that room the other day. They offered to put me in a different room so my husband followed them into the room and that room was also covered in mold, they took him to another room that had a huge chunk of ceiling missing from it, finally the third room seemed ok so we took it. We were gone the whole day moving my daughter into her dorm and when we returned late at night to sleep, we pulled the sheets back and both beds were COVERED in ants. I have never felt so disgusted to stay in a hotel in my life. I had my kids with me and they were so scared to even sit on the bed. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN! It is so unhealthy to have people breathe in all that mold! You all have been warned. Don’t ever stay here!!! If I can give it a negative star I would!

Don't stay there, dirty rooms, roaches, bad smell got sick

My bed had dirt on it. When I got in bed a wave of dirt/sand flew in my face when I pulled the covers up. Bathroom was dirty. Faucet had been cleaned with a dirty rag.

The bathroom had so much black mold in it that it gave me a headache. They really need to learn how to get better airflow in those bathrooms.

I’m so disappointed that this hotel is even listed. The pictures DO NOT match the description or property. We decided to leave and not stay. That’s how dirty and nasty it was. I know we can not get a refund but the room and premises were so dirty I was disappointed yall allowed a property like that to be listed. I have pictures if you want me to share.

Room carpet was dirty and restroom was disgusting! The same with hotel lobby and elevator. Would never stay there again!

The main floor smelt very bad. Would have left but was not sure I would get my money back. The employee was sitting in a chair playing on the phone and watched me stand at the counter for awhile before getting up to check me in. The room smelled as well, probably from the AC unit. The glass shower door did not function properly. A chair in the room had a rip. The carpets in were very dirty. Stray animal was hanging around the entrance two days in a row. The worst experience we have every had with this chain. Very dissatisfied with the entire experience and would not advice people to stay there.

The place was quiet so i could get some rest, the ac was cold it was good and the room very spacious along with the restroom.

This hotel is old, carpets are dirty, the bathroom had hair on the floor and on the counter. On the plus side, breakfast was good, the staff was extremely pleasant and friendly. This hotel needs to be remodeled or prices lowered. We will not stay there again.

My only issue was the surface of the bathtub. It was very slick. One had to be very careful not to slip & fall. They should have a anti- slip mat in the bathtub.

The hotel is in good shape. The room was fine and the bed comfortable. My only real complaints are that the room was very humid, even when running the AC unit and that it would have been nice if they had left me another bar of soap after I used the first one. Not a big deal on the soap thing, if it was I would have gotten another from the front desk. But it speaks to situational awareness of the housekeeping staff.

First time staying at this hotel. The room was a little dated, but it was quiet enough and comfy. It was good value for the dollar. I would stay there again.

Staff was great

We were in town to visit our son and his family and this hotel was the closest to their home. It was great except for the fact that they never serviced our room in the four nights that we stayed there. We didn't need it everyday but even on the one day that we put the tag on the door requesting service, we returned late that night and it had not been touched. It would have been nice to have some clean towels and our garbage emptied at least once!

Great staff and great customer service

I left my keys at the check-in counter and thought I had lost them. The whole staff did a wonderful job of hunting them down the next morning. Due to to shift changes no one knew where they were. The morning crew got it figured out and returned them to me. Fabulous job everyone!!

So we didnt end up staying here due to us finding another La Quinta closer to the location we wanted and even though we canceled the stay, they STILL CHARGED US THE ENTIRE AMOUNT. We were told we would only be charged for one night, so basically they lied. I called to fix the charges and they had no record of us canceling or booking at all. SOOOO HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CHARGE US???

Check in was quick and easy. Beds were very comfortable. Left sign out for room cleaning but no one ever came to change sheets or give us fresh towels. Had to go get towels myself.

Tonight my boyfriend and I were racially profiled at 9:30 10/12/24 while bringing our dog in from going to the bathroom… mind you I checked in Friday night and that same night we went in and out with the dogs as well as this morning until tonight..she asked me for our room number and did not let us go without telling her… I asked her why she needed it and she didn’t give me an answer. After I gave it to her she just said we’re good to go and we went put our dogs up but I came back and asked her what was all that about & why she needed my room number since she never gave me reason why nor have I been ask that before. She said because we have dogs & she needs to see if we paid our deposit I informed her that she didn’t say nothing when I had the dog but once my boyfriend had her it was a problem and she needed to check? mhm is it because it’s a black man holding a dog?!! she laughed and said no. I informed her that my dog has been coming in and out all day without a problem (clearly because we paid the deposit) how would I sneak in a big German shepherd lol!! she mentioned her manager told her to check but when I asked to speak to him she said he was not around. Soo you’re lying and only asked because a black man is holding a dog ok. October is our family reunion month & the hotel was booked by more than half of my family but I’m making sure we take our business down to holiday inn due to this. We don’t tolerate racism & sure as heck don’t support it!!

Clean, quiet, and quick short drive to highway and Naval Air Station Kingsville. Liked the modern decor and color scheme

It was a quick and easy check in. Receptionist was super friendly and polite. The only thing is that we were given a room on the 1st floor, even though convenient, it was a bit noisy from other patrons walking by and slamming doors. But not enough to keep you from having a good night's sleep. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was plentiful and loved the Texas shaped waffles.

Quite and pleasant hotel area, and easy access to IH-35.

Breakfast was great - had different options every day along with the normal waffle/cereal. Would have preferred a softer bed but I’m sure some like a firmer bed.

The room and stay and breakfast were average at best. The need to renovate the hallways and make sure the fruit is fresh.

Clean rooms, horrible bed pillows… lumpy and flat, all of them. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6. We left at 6:10 and it wasn’t ready.

Limited complimentary dining options, food not labelled(veg vs non-veg unable to find).Sinks high for kids to use, toiletries were 1 time use and hence not suatainable as well.
