Location was good. Parking was good. The room was smaller than expected for 3 adults. We had expected 2 beds and sofa bed. It would have been helpful to have a toaster, cutlery, kettle and some plates so that we could have made some breakfast. The wifi connection was good and we enjoyed some TV shows.

There was no reception on site. Apparently it was mentioned in the booking but when you travel for three weeks and checkin/out almost daily we didn’t noticed. Also, some other locations gave us directions/messages before arrival and this location didn’t. On site we had to call a remote reception. From there on all went smoothly though. Room was clean and all necessities were there. It’s by the marina. Parking is easy on site.

It was easy to find. Central to everything we needed. It slept 6 easily. The only issue we had was there were no coffee pods or shower soap or gel. We ended up having to go but these things. For the price of what we paid it should have been stocked in my opionion.

Perfect spot for our family worth the sure as we could cook meals in the kitchen. Central to Cabot trail and other things. Clean and well appointed. The cleaning team were extremely warm and welcoming. Looking forward to our next stay at La Digue Inn and Suites!

Stay was good. Suite is small but functional. Location is good. Beautiful view off back suites. No toiletries shampoo conditioner etc… They do supply glassware and ask to wash if used but no soap supplied.

Got there and even though the room door was unlocked, there was no key for the room. Then when I called owners to tell them they said they would be right over. Only after calling again did they show up after 20 minutes of waiting. Then there were quite a number of flies in the room. The fold out bed had a thin mattress and squeaked when moving in the bed. The bathroom door squeaked loudly if you open and closed it fully. There only one Keureg pod for coffee so we couldn't make coffee for us all. One good thing was owners gave an extensive list of restaurants with menus and the restaurants were mainly in walking distance. FYI, the place is right on a working fishing dock.

Upon arriving at The Digue Suites , we found our dockside room and was able to park directly outside our door. This was handy for luggage access etc. The room was very clean and charming. Nice large shower with plenty of towels as well. Decor was unique and furniture has seen some better days but were all functioning. The bed was comfortable and clean. There is a small fridge , microwave and coffee maker as well. We walked to Le Gabriel for dinner and some live entertainment, which turned out to be a lovely evening. Absolutely loved the area and explored the Cheticamp Island as well. Stunning views from the lighthouse. Overall a great little Stopping point on our Cabot Trail adventure!

The Island View suite was supposed to be non-smoking but had a lingering odour of stale cigarette smoke and damp. The sink was almost completely plugged. The buildings heat exchangers were located against the exterior wall and were noisy until midnight. No insulation between the neighbouring suite as I listened to a complete phone conversation the occupant was having. Room is very tired.

There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived in our room. The room is in need of an update and sound proofing. In comparison to our previous rooms price wise this was pricey for the room.

When we arrived the unit had a very unpleasant odor. It clearly had been cleaned thoroughly with a slight smell of bleach present, but it could not eliminate the bad odor. The cleaning person was very kind and had clearly done a good job but could not alleviate the smell - kind of like mildew and dog.. We left the windows open while we went to eat, which did help some. Plus one window wouldn't lock.

Great spot! I wish i could have given it a 5 all around...but, I see in another review someone mentioning a mold like smell. Should have been a heads up for the owner but sadly it smelled during our stay too. Wet towels placed over the sink and shower drain helped. Daytime we were able to open the windows full but being on the ground floor we chose to lock them at night. Time for some maintenence on those for sure. Other than that everything went wonderful.

Three people in a room so small we couldn’t open the suitcases and walk to the bathroom. The sofa bed made so much noise whenever someone rolled over it woke everyone up. The noise from the room over us also kept everyone awake until midnight. I don’t know why there are so many good reviews. Perhaps some of the rooms are larger/ better than ours was.

Calling this room a suite is a stretch .. More like a low-end motel room with a couch, mini fridge, and microwave. There was a Keurig coffee machine but no cups and no cream and sugar. There were two wine glasses but no way to wash them. There was no kitchen. The towels were adequate, the sheets were worn. The building is on a gravel lot on the working wharf. The curtains were not sufficient to completely block the windows from someone looking in. Fortunately it's off season and no one was actually back there. It was okay for a motel room, but extremely expensive and not at all what I expected.

The place was clean and bright with big windows. The pullout couch was incredibly creaky and very loud. Everytime someone moved a tiny bit it was very loud and metallic sounding. Also we could hear everything that the people in the suite above us did. Every step. Every trip to the washroom. Was close to the national park and about 20 min from skyline trail

What a hidden gem. We had the suite on the main floor and it was fantastic. Huge living room kitchen area and then a separate room with a king size bed. It doesn't look like much from the outside but fantastic suite. Would highly recommend. Plus, head to The Doryman for dinner...the food was great.

It was also conveniently close to the Skyline Trail, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. My sons and I stayed here for one night. The property manager was wonderful! She answered all of our questions, helped me find a car service in the area and then checked back to make sure everything went well. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the location to the harbour was great for my boys!!!

We came for whale watching tour (next door) and arrived early. Not only was it clean, and had beautiful views, but the room itself was quiet & very comfortable. The owners also allowed us access to the room early with no extra fee.

Au milieu de la ville, près de tous les attractions, tranquille, propre et accessible. Nous avons eu un petit problème avec l’air climatisé, mais en moins de 10 minutes nous avons été répondu et le problème était réglé ! Personnel super sympathique :-)

The check-in is unconventional and inconvenient for tourists without a local mobile phone contract: you have to call a number to be allocated the room you have rented. Although we asked for check-in details via the contact form the day before, there was no response. The room itself is very basic and not acceptable for the price (240 CAD). The bed was fine. Unfortunately there was a lot of dirt under the sofa bed.

Didnt like the fact that no one responded to messages left at the 2 phone numbers listed on a sign. Eventually we guessed that unit with exterior light left on might be ours. Doors were left unlocked for 2 units. No message left for us within and no one ever came by. Unacceptable!

Several suites on an inlet on the main street in Cheticamp. Unfortunately there was a power outage the day we were arriving that affected the internet and the room cleaning. The owner upgraded us to a bigger suite and was very responsive to calls. The suites are nice and clean. Several good restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed in the oceanview suite which was very well kept. You can walk the entire town from the suites. We will definitely return.

We stayed in the oceanview suite which was very well kept. You can walk the entire town from the suites. We will definitely return.

Lovely property looking onto the working harbour. Very comfortable and staff were extremely helpful. Only stayed for one night, but it would be a good base to explore the area.

Good clean spot right in town. Right by the dock and walkable to restaurants and stores. You can hear people talking (muted voices) the other units as well footsteps, but the night was very quiet. We would stay again.

This is the ugliest and most dreadful spot in Cheticamp. This “hotel” sits at the bottom of a hill in a dusty parking lot facing working pier. There are bright lights on all night and by 4;30 am you can hear the beeping on the pier. There is no office. You call to check in. The tell you you “suite” and it’s unlock. There is a sign telling you if you use a glass or cup to wash it and put it away but there is no dish soap. The bed sheets are old and thin. This is not the place you want to stay when visiting beautiful Cape Breton.

This property describes itself as having friendly staff yet there is no check in desk and we never met the staff. Facilities were decent but heating problematic. I messaged the property a couple of times about check out procedures and by the time we left at 9:00 still had not heard anything. Clean. The door to apartment had no window covering so not completely private. I would recommend if some one wanted to stay in Cheticamp but highlight what it doesn't deliver on.

We didn’t enjoy our stay Can’t comment on staff Called to check in Bed and pillows were uncomfortable Sheets on the pull out bed were dirty Bathroom door did not close properly Parking was easy I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend La Digue Suites

We never got to stay there. We called to check in and were told the toilet was broke. No solution and we really had to scramble to get another hotel. There are no staff at the hotel so they had to drive 2 hours with a new toilet. We finally found a place and told them we weren’t coming. Bad experience and the location looked really bad.

Manglende kommunikation fra værtens side ved indtjekning. Værelset var nusset og det virkede som om sengetøjet ikke var skiftet, sengene lugtede dårligt. Håndklæder lugtede af gammel fugt. Til gengæld er der en flot udsigt direkte til havnen.
