Our standard room was very small. The washbasin at the side of the bed was awkward. The air con didn’t seem to work and it was very hot. The hotel itself and the staff were very good, the location is excellent, the breakfast was nice and the car park was underneath and was secure.

The Place smells like new and very clean the housekeeper did a good job our room were cleaned everyday. Expedia exterior picture weren't updated I kind of confused which is Hotel Aare Thun but it was a great overall.

The hotel is new, room size is spacious and most importantly it’s so comfy and clean. The room I stayed came with bathtub, totally love it. The staffs are friendly. I’ll definitely come back to stay when I’m back to Thun again.

Nice, clean hotel right on the river. We arrived late and left early so didn’t experience much of the town, but we walked to a restaurant and it did seem like it would be a very nice place to stay. Mixed reviews on the pillows from my group. If you like soft, down pillows, you’ll have the best sleep of your life. If you need some substance to support your neck, you’re going to have a problem here.

Top 3 der Hotels welches ich dieses Jahr besucht habe und das waren einige. Zimmer sind Wunderschön, sauber und die freistehende Badewanne war der absolute Wahnsinn. Habe extra 1 Nacht verlängert, da ich mich so wohl gefühlt habe. Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

The room I was assigned was a large-sized suite and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfy. It had an office desk by the window and a great view of the Aare River outside with two balconies. The bathroom was spacious - I wish my stay were long enough that I could utilize the jacuzzi as well. The room was quite spacious and there was more than enough storage. Very impressive room. The hotel is centrally located and very easy to walk to from the train station and to the old city.

The only positive was the Location of the hotel. However, it is no way close to a 4 star hotel. I could not open the window. It was broken. When I informed to hotel staff, they said that they cannot do anything as it was Sunday. The repair can only be done on Monday. There was a live spider in our room.

Einzigartig war das Frühstück, sehr leckere Käseauswahl. Allerdings das Zimmer selbst war unter aller Sau: Die Lüftung im Bad war extrem laut, man konnte diese nur ausschalten, indem man die Zimmerkarte rausnahm und damit den ganzen Strom ausmachte. Auf Nachfrage erklärte mir die Frau an der Rezeption: Dies sei in diesem Zimmer fehlerhaft. Wir könnten zu einem anderen Zimmer wechseln. Um 9 Uhr abends? Nein. das geht wirklich nicht. Zudem genau dieses Zimmer sogar 40 Franken Aufpreis waren wg. "Blick auf den Fluss".

Property is recently renovated and very stylish, with a consistent aesthetic throughout. Furnishing and finishings are well thought out, modern, and luxurious. The property itself is ideally situated, with lovely views of the Aare River, the historic covered bridge/dam, and the architecturally interesting surrounding buildings. Our room was comfortable, clean, and very functional. Very nice shower. Balconies are great. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and got us into our room early. We will definitely stay here again!

Our experience was great. Hotel has a great easy to walk location and the views from the balcony is amazing. The service was impeccable and without question the room was one of the better ones we've stayed in, very nicely appointed with a very comfortable bathroom, the Nexpresso machine gave it a nice touch. I would recommend it to anybody.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very well maintained. We stayed in a Deluxe room. Fantastic views. Beautifully designed room with additional sofa space, a bath and great shower. Exceptionally clean and very cosy. Central ventilation system though means having to turn the temp right down to get the room cooled. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The room I was assigned was a large-sized suite and very spacious. The bed was extremely comfy. It had an office desk by the window and a great view of the Aare River outside with two balconies. The bathroom was spacious - I wish my stay were long enough that I could utilize the jacuzzi as well. The room was quite spacious and there was more than enough storage. Very impressive room. The hotel is centrally located and very easy to walk to from the train station and to the old city.

Nice, clean hotel right on the river. We arrived late and left early so didn’t experience much of the town, but we walked to a restaurant and it did seem like it would be a very nice place to stay. Mixed reviews on the pillows from my group. If you like soft, down pillows, you’ll have the best sleep of your life. If you need some substance to support your neck, you’re going to have a problem here.
