Room was clean, the staff was amazing, we have 3 kids, they had a little hard time adjusting to the altitude, we had arrived earlier but check-in was not till @12, Roger the manager and his stuff had problem letting us go to our room to rest, Julian was also amazing always helping us for breakfast and anything we needed it, love the place and the staff, definitely will be back, such a great experience!!

It feels like the entire operation is built around squeezing money out of Western guests rather than offering genuine hospitality. In Peru, you cannot drink tap water. When we arrived, there was not a single complimentary bottle of water in the room. We had no choice but to buy water from the hotel at 10 soles for half a liter, which is the same price you would pay in Times Square. This felt deliberate, especially since guests have no alternative. There were no towels at the pool; The gym had no water at all, - another excuse to limit access and push people to spend more money on water. The spa situation was also misleading. When booking, it gives the clear impression that spa access, including the sauna, is included. Only after arrival were we told there is an additional charge of 10 soles per person per day. I had to contact Hotels.com to request a partial refund. When my kids were sitting in the jacuzzi, staff repeatedly came over to shut off the hot water. At breakfast, the watermelon juice tasted old, yet the same juice was served again the following day. On top of all this, when you check in, you are warned that if you lose your room key you will be charged 10 soles per key. This is presented almost like a threat. No reputable hotel would handle things this way, and the cost to replace a key is minimal. Again, it feels like another attempt to squeeze money out of guests. That said, the staff themselves were polite and respectful.
