A nice lakeside motel.A bit dated/older - My room was clean the lower level had a nice lake view until a large SUV parked right in front of my window. :( Apparently you need a top floor room to avoid that. Small lakeside restaurant between the motel and the lake. About 25 minutes from Ruston. Farmersville had a well stoked grocery store

Its right on the lake got a restaurant on the same property, pool and pet friendly. Parking lot was clean lots of space. The rooms i was in 206 was king non smoking and it was clean roomy outside patios overlooking a piece of the lake and the boat launch. I would stay there again when im back there.

Very nice place to stay! Its right on the lake and the view is absolutely beautiful! There is a restaurant is right next to the motel and the Dollar General is literally right next door! Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only down fall was there was no coffee pot in the room.

We were there for an event in town. The rooms were pretty clean. No spotless but just as clean as any other hotel I have ever stayed in. The beds were clean and pretty comfortable. The water pressure and hot water were great. Big, new TV with Direct TV. AC worked well but was a tad loud. Don't be deterred by the looks of it or any reviews. For a no frills stay this fits the bill nicely. The pool was also clean. Great views of the lake from 235 where we stayed. Overall a great stay on a budget.

I love the location of this hotel and the fact that had a boat launch behind it so I was able to launch my kayak from there. But……. Went to go take a shower and the shower did not work nor with the drain even close so I could take a bath. They moved me to another room, but it kind of had a funky smell .

Mr. Charlie was so nice. He had my reservation ready and had me checked in in less than 5 minutes. i work at one of the top branded hotels in the country....so im very picky But the pool was beautiful and was perfect temp...overlooking the lake(darbonne) and never once did he ask us to get out of the pool.....he let me stay in it until i was ready to get out. Although its not the Hilton!!! I freaking loved it!!!!! My people loved it!!!!! And i will be going back on my next off day!!!!!! See ya soon Mr Charlie!!!!!

The room was so nasty. The floor was not vacuumed or swept; debris was everywhere. We found a half smoked cigar in the chair and a mostly smoked joint on the balcony. The bottom of the shower curtain was moldy. The view is beautiful- it overlooks the lake. Parking was easy probably because no one stays there because it's gross.

This room was very dirty, sheets were dirty and stained, towels were obviously not clean, there was urine all over the toilet, big hole in the wall, and walls were dirty. Smelled very strongly like marijuana. Would not suggest!

The room was updated and looked nice. The issue was there were several roaches crawling on the walls and floor. I was really grossed out and would have left, but was in town for a funeral and there were no other options available. I will not go back where there are roaches crawling. Ugh!!!!

The room we got a first was muggy when we opened the door and had visible mold on the night shades, as well as mosquitos and other smaller bugs. When I went to the desk to ask for another room, the man did mention the bugs are not mosquitoes. So there was some hesitancy to exchange the room but he did do so. The new room was not muggy or too buggy but it didn’t look very clean. To me I would expect a better kept room for almost $100/night, but this place has the market for motels in the area!

They property was in such sad shape. They had bed bugs, trash still in the floor, boogers on the wall, killed 4 spiders in like 5 minutes. I would not recommend. Got a refund ASAP and so glad I didn’t bring any of my belongings in the room. It’s sad because it has the potential to be a beautiful property on the lake if they would put effort in it.

Nice, quiet location right on the lake with a pretty view. We had to upgrade our room since my son decided to come with us, but it was reasonable, and for a smoking room, didn't smell horrible. I will say that double beds are small when you're used to sleeping in a king, especially for two humans and a German Shepherd service dog. They were comfortable, though, so once you got into place it was good night. The fridge was clean and cold; the microwave could have used an update and the toilet been a bit cleaner. Nothing that would stop me from staying again. Very pleased with it all.

The manager was very kind and made sure I had everything I needed especially when I ordered food to go and didn’t receive anything to eat it with. Showers had great water pressure! The air conditioner was SO loud coming on and shutting off. Our microwave kept turning on and off. We eventually unplugged it so we could sleep.

VERY comfortable beds! LVP flooring, good sized mini-fridge, microwave, ample closet space. Liked the shower-tub combo, but there isn’t anywhere to put your clothes while you’re bathing. I’d love if there were some sturdy wall hooks for that. Sliding glass door in back of the room allows for access to the yard. We would definitely stay there again while visiting friends and family in the area. Lakeview rooms are available.

The room smelled like fish to the point that I had to go buy a candle and air freshener. They only provided two towels. When I requested pull up service, the owner actually asked if I couldn’t make the bed myself. Then he proceeded to say to my boyfriend, “you own her for now at least, right?!” Referring to me. Are you kidding me? This is the US and it’s 2025. I’m a doctor! Nobody has ever or will ever OWN me! That said, the location was perfect for fishing, which is what we wanted. Sadly, it did not meet my standards, even though I prepared myself for it not being bougie. Bougie is one thing… fresh and clean is a whole other thing! And not being insulted isn’t too much to ask for!

View was great looking out on the lake. Service was great, tv remote wasn't working and they fixed it right away. They were very friendly! It was a no frills hotel, which was advertised that way so we didn't expect frills. No complaints!

Very nice place to stay! Its right on the lake and the view is absolutely beautiful! There is a restaurant is right next to the motel and the Dollar General is literally right next door! Rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only down fall was there was no coffee pot in the room.

A nice lakeside motel.A bit dated/older - My room was clean the lower level had a nice lake view until a large SUV parked right in front of my window. :( Apparently you need a top floor room to avoid that. Small lakeside restaurant between the motel and the lake. About 25 minutes from Ruston. Farmersville had a well stoked grocery store

This was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. It’s just a simple motel with outside doors, nothing fancy. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable with clean crisp linens. The back of the room has a balcony that faces the lake. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was nice with a big shower. It has a microwave and fridge. It does NOT have a coffee maker and they don’t serve breakfast. All in all we were very pleased.

Its right on the lake got a restaurant on the same property, pool and pet friendly. Parking lot was clean lots of space. The rooms i was in 206 was king non smoking and it was clean roomy outside patios overlooking a piece of the lake and the boat launch. I would stay there again when im back there.

I wouldn't recommend staying there. The minute I opened the motel door there was an odor in the room. My sliding glass door handle was partially missing and broken. No coffee pot or even coffee offered in the lobby in the morning. I will not return.

This was a place to sleep. It served its purpose, but the room was not very clean. The floor looked like it hasn’t been mopped in a while. There were old dead love bugs stuck to the wall and on the floor. I wouldn’t let my son walk around the room after he got a shower. I made him stay on the bed. I wore flip flops from the bathroom to the bed. The baseboards looked like they had never been cleaned. We booked a room for 4 people and there were only 2 towels in the room. It smelled like mildew or like it had been sitting for a while with no AC on. The AC worked but not well. We had it set on 65 but still woke up hot and sweating. The shower curtain had mildew and the toilet seat looked like it had burn marks. And the door wouldn’t latch shut unless it was locked. We were only there to sleep before a funeral the following day. I definitely would not recommend for a leisurely stay or a longer trip. The front desk staff was nice though.

The room was dirty. Spider webs all in the bathroom. Stuff splattered on the walls in various spots. The floor didn’t look well swept. The biggest issue was the blankets didn’t look to be clean. The room was ice cold, the A/C works fantastic. There’s only two bath towels in a room for four people so that kind of sucked. The view of the lake is nice. I usually stay away from motels but this one wasn’t sketchy at all and had lots of family’s staying. Will likely stay again, it’s hard to beat those prices.
