We have stayed previously and highly recommend. Great stopping point when driving from Michigan to Savannah. Very clean and pet friendly! We love the fire pit and outside area.

This is a well maintained, very clean hotel. I’m very sensitive to strong smells, so I asked that no air fresheners be used in the room. That request was honored. There’s plenty of parking. We stayed in a room on the second floor. Be advised that there’s no elevator, which we didn’t mind at all. A very pleasant place to stay!

I got a 2 bed suite which was lovely. Very clean but no kleenex. The parking lot wasn't good...potholes were bad. No elevator...if you have trouble with stairs, probably not for you. My keycard stopped working after 1 night and had to get it re-keyed which was very inconvenient. Overall, they were friendly and place was acceptable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mccoy's. The suite we stayed in was comfortable and very nice. It was wonderful to have the extra space that included a sofa bed, and a comfortable chair. The kitchen was phenomenal too with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, even a toaster! It also had dishes, glasses, pots and pans and even Dawn dishwashing liquid. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed! We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Our only two disappointments were no elevator and no bathtub... but everything else was perfect in every way. The staff is very friendly and accommodating too! It is easy to find, just off Route 77 South.

For a “Motel”, it was really nice. We booked this without knowing where it was located. We are driving to Florida with dogs and on Expedia it did not have a town where located. It sad pet friendly but no mention of dog fee or how many. The woman working was wonderful and explained to my husband everything. Once in the room, it was soooo nice. Thank you and we drive this way again from Michigan we will stop again!

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in and always try and book here if possible. My only complaint is that the bed was a little to firm for me. It hit every pressure pain point, but all in all a good stay.

The highway was very noisy. It kept me up all night. The room was night. The last time we stayed in one of the suites. It was nice. I used the vent on the microwave for white noise, but I didn't have that in the standard room. If you don't like highway noise, bring a fan or stay in one of the suites with the vent going, because you will hear every truck going down the road. And those that like to hear their noisy pipes as the speed out of Sheetz. Also, if you like it dark, it won't be. The light coming in from around the door is bright.

McCoys was everything advertised and more. Our suite was absolutely incredible! Spacious, extremely clean with every convenience imaginable. The staff was kind and friendly and went above and beyond. My boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship. The McCoy Inn is halfway for us. We visit at least once a month, and have for the last year. It is always clean. The rooms are huge (We have been in just about every room type). Check in is always easy. We both love the McCoy Inn so much. No other hotel gives you as much space for the cost.

This small family run hotel is an excellent place to stay in the Ripley/point pleasant/Charleston area. Our suite was big, clean, and comfy. The extra blanket and pillow was a nice touch. It was great to have a full size frig, sink, utensils in the drawers. The area was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with a heated fan. The staff were excellent, and maid service was wonderful(done daily!)

This room was EXCEPTIONAL! Nice and large, clean, with a large shower and mountain view from the main room and bedroom! Plenty of hot water too. Fireplace was cool, but not usuable as it was May and was only usuable in the winter months. AC worked well, as did the TVs and hairdryer. Also, the freezer worked great as my freezer packs were frozen harder than usual.

When pulled up, honestly thought had been catfished by hotels.com. Very unassuming exterior in industrial area. Our room was fantastic & quite spacious and quiet. One teenager got a bed, the other got the couch in the separate living room and they both were happy. Overall a very nice little hotel - would stay again if in the area.

Rooms are very nice. Staff are great to work with. Price is reasonable. Several restaurants and a Walmart nearby. Road noise is the only bummer.

The place was clean but the light from the parking lot made it seem like it was daylight. The light was impossible to block to make the room dark. Also, RIPLEY is not really a pedestrian friendly town. I walked over to the Mexican restaurant and felt like I was risking my life crossing US 33. If I end up in Ripley in the future, I’ll stay at the holiday inn express or another town.

The room we stayed in was home away from home. It was nicely furnished. It was very cozy. The only down side that we had was it's next to a gas station and fitness center, but after a certain hour it quieted down. We turned the microwave vent on to high and used it as white noise. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

The hotel is lovely. Luke, the front desk clerk, was very friendly, professional, and answered several questions I had about the property's history. The hotel does sit on a fairway with lots of traffic, but that is no fault of the property. I will definitely stay again. It's quaint, comfortable, very close to the highway and gas station.

Older chain motel now privately owned - very clean; walk-in large shower was enjoyable. Comfortable room chair in addition to desk chair. Highly recommend Las Trancas restaurant just down the street.

The stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and the clerk was friendly! When we asked for recommendations for dinner he sent us to a fantastic family owned restaurant. Would stay there again!!

I read almost every review. Not one negative comment. I took a chance and booked. The week before, I had a bad experience at a different hotel and was apprehensive. Well, it was very clean and looked just like all the pictures on the site. I was very comfortable and slept well. The hotel did not have food available, but there were many choices very close to go to. It is a gem. Really enjoyed my stay. If I'm ever in that area again, I will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very clean and the gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. It was nice that coffee was available in the room as there was no breakfast available, which was ok for us.

We love to Stay at McCoys when visiting WV. We feel very safe staying there. My favorite place to shop is the shoe store near by and there are plenty of restaurants near by. Staff are so especially friendly and helpful.

No hot tub. Placed in a handicapped room, did not request. Asked if another room was available, told no. If we knew it would be a handicapped room with a roll in shower and no hot tub we probably would have booked elsewhere. Parking was fine, but not a private parking lot, shared with other retail establishments.

Staff was not helpful. Property doesn't have elevator and we had 2nd floor room as nothing left for handicapped blind woman. Immediately wanted to send us elsewhere but our room was as paid for and would receive no refund. Just rude!

It’s a nice when online reviews match the reality. Not a big hotel, but very clean. Comfortable beds. all the features you need. Really like the glass walled shower. Easy walking distance to a Sheetz, McD and Starbucks . Although close to the interstate, we didn’t have any road noise. We really enjoyed our stay
