I wasn't expecting too much from a b&b but this was lovely. Myself and my two children 11 and 9 stayed for 2 nights. We had a beautiful room. It was very clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. We had fresh milk and juice in the fridge waiting for us. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. We had takeaway delivery one night (plates/cutlery all supplied at the b&b) and went into Honiton to get dinner another evening. Breakfast was delivered hot and fresh in the morning and the fridge restocked with juice. I felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again.

Our stay, whilst short was really great. The owners were very welcoming and the accommodation absolutely beautiful with the renovations completed to a high standard and in keeping with the property's heritage. The location is beautiful with local pubs within a reasonable distance. Breakfast was served within the suite, a truly lovely meal to finish off our visit. As a dog friendly B & B I would strongly recommend this to any dog owners.

Instantly felt very welcome! Shown around the beautiful room with excellent amenities, fresh coffee, milk, orange juice and cereal. A fresh breakfast was offered, but I kindly declined as I'm not the biggest breakfast eater. Very clean space and a lovely bathroom also. Highly recommended for both a business trip or for a couples night away.

We stayed for one night at Monkton Court. Cara was a great host and accommodating. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable with a nice shower room and small food prep area. We would definitely stay again.

We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again.

Very convenient for the A30. Some may find it too close. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Very clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable, warm, homely and reasonably clean although there was some McDonald’s waste in bin on arrival. Unsure if room had been vacuumed as found a coin on floor. Only 1/2 toilet role on arrival for 3 people. All amenities would have looked better full on arrival. Bathroom had NO mould. Overall this was a nice place but it’s the little things that matter. A bit noisy with road. Breakfast gets served in your room. The cereal is already in your room in small jars, some 1/2 full. Again only 2 serviettes for 3 people, attention to detail. Couple who run it are friendly and accommodating for my requests for extra milk and cereal top up. Was not cheap for what it was.

We were greeted by Cara who was absolutely lovely. Checked us in, showed us where to park etc. Great nights sleep, everything you’d need and spotlessly clean. Full cooked breakfast 10/10 ⭐️. We would highly recommend Monkton Court.

I’m was actually thinking of giving a bad review to ensure this wonderful place wouldn’t be booked out all the time. Seriously though, we’re definitely going back- comfy bedroom, modern bathroom, spacious living area, and a kitchen that rivals mine at home for appliances and equipment. The breakfast was very tasty choices were plentiful, and my gluten free request not a problem.

Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay.

Had to book last minute and arrived later in the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure I had everything I need. Breakfast was brought to my room in the morning and was excellent. The room was very spacious and finished to a very high standard. Would highly recommend this B&B!

Staff was very friendly and we had a cooked breakfast to order and delivered to our room. We even had a vegetarian option available for our cooked breakfast. They were also very flexible and accommodating.

Was met by owner Cara. They were friendly and the place was presented well. Lovely rooms. Great quality and beautiful food. They couldn’t do enough for you. Wouldn’t hesitate to return if I need to stay in the area again.

Nice quiet b&b, excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice, brought to your room on your selected time, and nice and hot. Owner was nice and pleasant, friendly, helpful with local places to eat.

The Monkton court B&B was a brilliant place to stay very friendly welcome we had a small issue that was dealt with very quickly breaks was also of good Quailty ingredients and the owners catered to our requirements even though we wanted quite an early breakfast the room was such a lovely place you for you to relax also the grounds would suit what ever the weather nice place to sit out and enjoy the view but a room you want to take time to enjoy also with a bath that was also hot too would definitely recommend and stay again

Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again .

Our stay, whilst short was really great. The owners were very welcoming and the accommodation absolutely beautiful with the renovations completed to a high standard and in keeping with the property's heritage. The location is beautiful with local pubs within a reasonable distance. Breakfast was served within the suite, a truly lovely meal to finish off our visit. As a dog friendly B & B I would strongly recommend this to any dog owners.

Very convenient for the A30. Some may find it too close. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. Very clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable, warm, homely and reasonably clean although there was some McDonald’s waste in bin on arrival. Unsure if room had been vacuumed as found a coin on floor. Only 1/2 toilet role on arrival for 3 people. All amenities would have looked better full on arrival. Bathroom had NO mould. Overall this was a nice place but it’s the little things that matter. A bit noisy with road. Breakfast gets served in your room. The cereal is already in your room in small jars, some 1/2 full. Again only 2 serviettes for 3 people, attention to detail. Couple who run it are friendly and accommodating for my requests for extra milk and cereal top up. Was not cheap for what it was.

Lovely guest house, very cosy and accommodating. Host Cara was very helpful and delivered a perfect breakfast to our door. Perfect location to and from Cornwall and good value for money - will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay.

We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again.

Staff was very friendly and we had a cooked breakfast to order and delivered to our room. We even had a vegetarian option available for our cooked breakfast. They were also very flexible and accommodating.

Nice quiet b&b, excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice, brought to your room on your selected time, and nice and hot. Owner was nice and pleasant, friendly, helpful with local places to eat.

I’m was actually thinking of giving a bad review to ensure this wonderful place wouldn’t be booked out all the time. Seriously though, we’re definitely going back- comfy bedroom, modern bathroom, spacious living area, and a kitchen that rivals mine at home for appliances and equipment. The breakfast was very tasty choices were plentiful, and my gluten free request not a problem.

Our stay at monkton court was exceptional our hosts Steve & Cara couldn’t do enough our breakfast was always bought to us the time we asked and Delicious. Steve’s poached eggs were perfect . The Maple where we stayed was very clean and bed was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again .

We were given a warm welcome, as well as being sent helpful info before arriving. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was good to have milk, coffee, tea provided, as well as juice for breakfast. There were a good selection of choices for breakfast. There was easy parking outside the room. As the property is right on the A30, which is busy, it was helpful to have info on what to look out for immediately before the turning. We didn’t notice any noise from traffic at night. The shower was very good. Although we didn’t actually use them, it was helpful to have a list of suggested places to eat or order take away, together with phone numbers. We would certainly recommend this b & b.

The property was new,clean and essential. It’s in the farm land so due to fertilizer that day did stink a lot outside and inside. So be mindful of the time of the year you go. Steve and Cara were very lovely hosting us and breakfast was super delish

Stayed one night on way down to Cornwall and was a lovely start to the trip after a long journey. The room was so spacious and had lots of amenities which were welcomed especially having a proper cup of tea! The host was so friendly, and really helped us to settle in being so accommodating of my pup. Was such a treat having a bacon sandwich brought in the morning as well before the next leg.

What a great play to stay. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very well presented. Fresh milk, fresh coffee and orange juice in the fridge. Breakfast is ordered the night before and brought to your room freshly prepared. Breakfast was really good too. I would recommend.!
