Villa Iseo

Everything about Villa Iseo was excellent, the communication with Angelo the owner was fantastic, he was only a text away if we needed anything or advice. The villa was spotless and the pool was very large and warm, the villa is literally a stone throws away from the restaurants and supermarkets. we would have no hesitation in booking the villa again.

Unfortunately we had a few issues with the villa. • No welcome pack • villa sleeps 6, however there were only 5 mugs, 2 wine glasses & a mixture of other glasses. This was fine for just the 2 of us but wouldn’t be any use if there were 6 guests • no plug or bowl in the kitchen sink. We used the one from the downstairs bathroom, again not a problem with just 2 guests but no so good if there were more than 2 guests • no pool/beach towels - management company did kindly drop some off when requested • no wash/laundry basket - again management company dropped one off when requested •.TV has no British channels available- this should be noted in the description of the villa on Vrbo • pictures on Vrbo show a table tennis table, this had been removed • 2 of the sunbeds were broken • we came back one night to find 3 live cockroaches in the kitchen. We’ve been staying in this area of Faro Park for 13 years & have never experienced cockroaches in any other villas, the floors are normally treated to prevent this. We were supplied with the treatment and were advised the cleaning team obviously hadn’t treated the floors prior to our arrival!! There is also a ‘workshop’ & an apartment next to the villa with access to it in front of the kitchen window. There were a couple of days when it was quite noisy with drilling etc from the workshop which didn’t really bother us but should be included in the Vrbo description. This is the first bad review I’ve posted, as all previous villas in this area we’ve stayed in are top class.
