Hotel listing states free parking, it’s not, you’re forced into £13 a night fees. Reception and hotel duty manager couldn’t care less. This is no longer a travelodge hotel either so don’t waste 30 mins looking for it like I did - it is now an ibis budget. Reception is on the first floor, lift out of service, faults with the fire alarm / emergency call system, breakfast isn’t available if you have an early flight and need to leave by 0600. Poor pillows and noisy corridors. Personally, I’d avoid this one given the cost!

Falsely advertised as Travelodge, this is a Travelodge. Noisy, old, one lift not working, and expensive parking despite being advertised here as "free parking".

Nice enough hotel. Stay would have been very good if the booking through Expedia that quoted free parking was honoured. I understand the hotel may have changed to Ibis Budget from Travelodge since I they should have sorted this. The staff stuck to me having to pay the fee and hid behind the Expedia intermediary Mikki Travel that the booking went through. So I am now in the process of waiting for Expedia to decide whether to refund £13 for parking. And the hotel is still listed as Travelodge with free parking although it's has an Ibis photo. They also have a smoke alarm in the room above the bed with 2 red flashing lights every 3 seconds which in the dark of night is bright enough to affect sleep. My friends in another room had a room alarm button near the head of the bed so when they moved in the night it went off. So then they had a knock on the door in the night checking they were OK. Ibis may need to look at these issues. Otherwise the room and choice of breakfast foods was fine.

Hotel is not even called the Travelodge anymore—it's an Ibis Budget—so it took a long time to find. Very unpleasant, grubby hotel.
