We were put in the annexe, Rm18. Very clean, huge bed, suited us just fine. Staff - the amazing Laura!! Super helpful, lovely lady who knew everything there was to know about the hotel. Always smiling and happy. Also have to mention the young man who was working during our stay, he had red hair, unfortunately didn’t get his name, he was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay, did a good vegetarian breakfast for my husband, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Had an evening meal- great value and delicious. Cannot complain about anything about the hotel. A really enjoyable experience.

Although the "king size double" was in fact "bijou", the room was fresh and adequately appointed. AND was warm when we arrived A big PLUS! The "ensuite" needed a few contortionist moves to negotiate, but call it characture! Evening meal bit slow in coming but certainly okay A good selection Not the usual variations on a burger only that seems to be SO common these day, Breakfast very good value. All in all pleasant stay Would go again.

Located in Stranraer, The Waterfront Hotel & Bistro is next to a golf course and on the beach. Castle of St John and Ardwell Gardens are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Mull of Galloway Trail - North and Ringdoo Sands. Dunskey Garden and Gkenwhan Gardens are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
