Our room was pretty amazing. There was a huge Hamman Sauna/ shower. The balcony was big and wrapped around the room and you could have a drink and relax over looking the city and have breakfast on the deck of our room. Breakfast was really good, lots of fresh options. The metro is across the street and 1 stop from the Acropolis. It seemed like a less touristy area with a local pedestrian walkway with restaurants just a 5 min walk away.

Nice hotel in a good location in Athens. Two blocks to the metro station. 10 minute walk to the acropolis or one metro stop and Syntagma square is two metro stops. Looks like it has been updated somewhat recently. The shower has a rain head with good pressure. Bed was good but the only negative I can think of is that the sheets and blanket are very stiff and not soft. The elevator is cute and small but we were on first floor so no need to use it. The girl working the front desk was super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and has decent variety and some traditional Greek dishes.

The room we stayed in was on 6th floor next to a common area with tables & chairs. (I think they referred to it as the business center. During our stay no one used that space, so we had the entire floor to ourselves. Our room was amazing. It had a huge, wrap around balcony. It was fresh, clean and the bathroom was like a spa, with a steam shower. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great. The location was near a metro stop and easy for us to walk to the Parthenon, museum etc.

Very well situated, close to the Metro and the Acropolis. Friendly staff and great breakfast. The coffee machine in the room was a life-saver, though the used coffee cups were not cleaned or replaced the next day. It was not possible to individually adjust the temperature in the room.

Für mich war es genau die richtige Unterkunft. Das Hotel sowie die Zimmer waren sauber. Das Zimmer war groß, ich hatte mehr als genug Platz. Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit. Im obersten Stockwerk ist eine kleine Dachterasse von der aus man bis zur Akropolis schauen kann. In näherer Umgebung war alles was man zum leben benötigt: Restaurants, Supermarkt, Cafes... die Metrostation ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Zur Akroplis waren es auch nur 15-20 Gehminuten, je nach Geschwindigkeit.

It was a great location where we could walk everywhere also close to hop on and off tour bus. Breakfast was simple yet beautiful and we really enjoyed our 3 night stay. It was clean and small elevator was cute.

Our room had a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom. We mentioned it to the reception and were promised it will be addressed the next day. It was never addressed during our 8 day stay. There is no room for toiletries next to the sink. The shower system needed some fiddling with to get it right and it was in dire need to be replaced. This is the first hotel I stayed in were there are no glass made glasses allowed in the room! You get two old, scratched, disgusting plastic cups that should have been recycled 50 years ago! Any other hotel we stayed in Greece provides complementary bottled water, not Syngrou FIx. The breakfast is good. It has cold cuts, cheese and spinach pies, eggs, fruits cheese, Greek yogurt etc. However, there seem to be more than one property that is using this breakfast area so it gets very crowded and it runs out of room quickly. We will not stay here again.

Desayuno excelente. Buena ubicación cerca del metro. El techo del baño estaba lleno de moho. Se lo advertimos en recepción y ni siquiera nos ofrecieron de cambiar de habitación. Vistas desde la habitación feas. Las fotos y los comentarios anteriores no se corresponden con la realidad. Con las comunicaciones que tiene Atenas seguro que hubiera sido mejor otro hotel más lejano

Good experience. Very clean. Location is not in the city center but 1 km to main atractions. The only downside in my room ( in first floor) was the bathroom. It was very clean but it has a bad smell and although the curtain in the shower the whole bathroon gets wet during the bath. Very good breakfast

Godt, forholdsvis nyt mellemklasse hotel i gåafstand til de største attraktioner. Trods lydisolerede værelser er der en del trafikstøj, selv med lukkede døre og vinduer, men det kan nok ikke undgås i en storby som Athen. God daglig rengøring på værelset og friske kaffekapsler hver dag. Badeværelset dog allerede lidt slidt, med kloaklugt og med mug på kanten af håndvasken På hotellet, som i resten af Athen, har nogle været på kursus i kundeservice, mens andre virker fuldstændig ligeglade og ikke er til at få et smil af. Måske er de trætte af turister efter en lang sæson! Min samlede vurdering ender på 3 med pil opad dvs. 4*

Good location, clean room, welcoming staff, great breakfast. Constant bad smell in the bathroom though, like it was coming from the drains. Though this had a lot to do with the wet weather so we couldn't open the window to dry/air things out. Could also hear water running through the plumbing in our bathroom when other guests flushed or took showers.

This hotel was centrally located but our room was small and dark and the view - of a d semi derelict office block office opposite - blocked all natural light. The bathroom - was minuscule with several small fixtures that needed attention - look the broken toilet seat, missing hooks etc. breakfast was fairly good but space limited. The hotel was very handy for the metro and several reasonable restaurants nearby, House keeping was very good and staff friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very small. Wouldn’t want to stay more than one night with my son. The area also doesn’t appear to be the greatest part of Athens although there were plenty of people around. I do think it was relatively safe. The staff however was great and the breakfast was outstanding!!

Very well located and big, comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was on a lower floor and on a busy street so it could be a bit noisy at night but I slept well using ear plugs and closing the windows - the air conditioning works well. I would return due to the great location and big rooms.

I only stay here when in Athens. When I find a good hotel, I stick with it. Water is hot, A/C is cold, wi-fi good for streaming. A block from tne subway.

Staff were helpful and the Breakfast was good, offering a great variety every morning. Key point about this hotel is the location, we were on a bit of a budget so the fact it was near a metro station and only 10mins walk to the Acropolis entrance was great. Also we could get the metro direct from the airport for 9euros with just one change - very easy 40min journey. There are lots of affordable places to eat near by, and this is a pretty good neighbourhood, where we felt safe walking around at night (and that can’t be said for all Athens Neighbourhoods). People from the reception where wonderful, they really take care of us!!! Especially John as soon we arrive offer us a bottle of cold water as of good tips where to eat. The bakery factory one block away from the hotel ( open 24 hours). Everything was perfect the very comfortably and spacious. And is a block away from the Metro stop. The breakfast was excellent tons of choice’s. Love our stay at @syngrou fix hotel

The female staff were helpful and kind. The male front desk attendant was gruff and wasn’t interested in being helpful for example provided ding directions, etc. The breakfast was wonderful. The dining room was clean. The surroundings ng area around the hotel had wonderful coffee shops but is dirty and noisy due to the traffic.

This was a great location for everything with nearby subway and nearby walk to sites like the acropolis. Michael at the desk was very helpful with directions. Cleanliness over the top. Breakfast daily before 10:30 am. This is the place to stay in Athens!

Key point about this hotel is the location, we were on a bit of a budget so the fact it was near a metro station and only 10mins walk to the Acropolis entrance was great. Nice hotel in a good location in Athens. Two blocks to the metro station. 10 minute walk to the acropolis or one metro stop and Syntagma square is two metro stops. Looks like it has been updated somewhat recently. The shower has a rain head with good pressure. Bed was good but the only negative I can think of is that the sheets and blanket are very stiff and not soft. The elevator is cute and small but we were on first floor so no need to use it. The girl working the front desk was super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and has decent variety and some traditional Greek dishes.

Small, nice hotel within 200 yards from metro station...we arrived around noon well ahead of check in time and they said no problem - your room is ready,what a good surprise.Very nice and welcoming staff.Excellent breakfast served with some great typical Greek food items.Close to main thoroughfare but sound proof windows takes care of it - you sleep perfect.Walking distance to Akropolis,Plaka & ruins of Zeus Temple and tours meeting point which we took....Highly recommend!

Stayed there for five days. Extremely convenient location—walk to the metro. In a neighborhood with reasonably priced restaurants. Room was clean loved the rainfall shower head! Breakfast is delicious with lots of options! Would stay here again if I’m ever back in Athens.

The location of this hotel is excellent: right on a main street but still pretty quiet and safe, and easily walkable to the Plaka neighborhood and major attractions like the Acropolis. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly, and the breakfast options really exceeded my expectations. The room was small but well appointed, and perfect for tourists who are really just using the room for sleeping.

Our room had a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom. We mentioned it to the reception and were promised it will be addressed the next day. It was never addressed during our 8 day stay. There is no room for toiletries next to the sink. The shower system needed some fiddling with to get it right and it was in dire need to be replaced. This is the first hotel I stayed in were there are no glass made glasses allowed in the room! You get two old, scratched, disgusting plastic cups that should have been recycled 50 years ago! Any other hotel we stayed in Greece provides complementary bottled water, not Syngrou FIx. The breakfast is good. It has cold cuts, cheese and spinach pies, eggs, fruits cheese, Greek yogurt etc. However, there seem to be more than one property that is using this breakfast area so it gets very crowded and it runs out of room quickly. We will not stay here again.

This hotel was centrally located but our room was small and dark and the view - of a d semi derelict office block office opposite - blocked all natural light. The bathroom - was minuscule with several small fixtures that needed attention - look the broken toilet seat, missing hooks etc. breakfast was fairly good but space limited. The hotel was very handy for the metro and several reasonable restaurants nearby, House keeping was very good and staff friendly and helpful.

Yes to all. The only thing that was unexpected was the location of the room on the main street. I thought I requested the most quiet room available. Noise was ok since the hotel has good soundproofing. Breakfast is better than anything experienced in the US; Outstanding and various selections.

La prima stanza che mi è stata assegnata non era assolutamente adeguata poi con il cambio ci hanno accontentati, la stanza era carina,pulita ed i letti comodi anche se non c’era il matrimoniale. Il personale poco empatico e taciturno,poco disponibile al dialogo, Per fortuna la posizione è ottima. La colazione poco varia e senza cornetti, prevedeva soprattutto torte dolci e salate per cui ci siamo adattati. Complessivamente il soggiorno è stato discreto soprattutto per la posizione dell’hotel, vicino al centro.

Adequate enough hotel. I agree with what other have said, good enough for maybe a 2-3 night stay. Nothing special to rave about but it was clean and more affordable than others for its proximity to the center of Athens. It is right on a VERY busy Syngrou street but I feel the double-pane windows block out most of the noise from the traffic but you can still hear a bit but certainly not as much like when you open your terrace door or a window. The bed was the least comfortable one during my whole stay in Greece. The best part of this hotel was its breakfast and the lady who runs it who is very kind.

This hotel is located close to the Fix metro, a grocery store is up the street, nice restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. The rooms are clean and a breakfast is included. Most staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.
