Abbate Boutique Hotel

Vi blev väl mottagna när vi kom av personalen. Caffébar bredvid hade 5 årsfirande så det var väldigt bra stämning och alla var glada. Och kl 22 skulle festen vara slut och de höll dem. Lugn och tyst var det på natten. Rummet var fräsch och snyggt. Fint med en liten gåva på kudden. Perfekt läge för boendet och kommer gärna tillbaka!

Great location! Walk to everything you want. Stayed in room 7 top floor. Stairs may be an issue for some but beautiful space! Michelin restaurant 5 minutes away. Room wash clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Nice place but not a regular hotel as I know it. Please remember nice, it was nice and clean. Coffee machine in the room etc. But… Finding it. That was an issue. Google maps said I was there, but no sign of a hotel. Logged in the app, called the “hotel”. “Aah you are here. Just go in the coffee shop that says “Spresso” and say you have a reservation”, of course I should have expected that… Parking. I had a rental from the airport. There is no f… place near the hotel to park. It is the freaking middle of Ulm old town. Beautiful but not practical with a car. However, the nice guy (receptionist, barista, chef, bartender…) gave me the address to a parking house quite near by. Breakfast was included according to my reservation. I’m a swede and have been travelling all over Europe and I thought I seen it all. No, I’ve had not. Breakfast? “If you want breakfast, you can eat it in the cafe, but if it’s crowded like most mornings. Please bring it to your room or have it as a takeaway”. I stayed 3 nights but only had the first included breakfast. You can’t imagine what it contained. “Oh sir, you are a guest at the hotel. Then you get a cornetto and coffee/tea. Which kind do you prefer? Chocolate, vanilla or pistachio? What? It’s a croissant with one of these fillings. Well… sounds sweet. Can I have a croissant with just cheese or marmalade instead? No, we don’t have that, this is what you get.” Heavy sweet dessert as breakfast… some might like it but it was not for me.

Great accomodations, wonderful staff and very pet friendly which was a huge plus. Excellent location, very clean and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the lovely city of Ulm!
