This property is amazing! Great location to a lot of hiking, rock climbing and glacier trekking - the view from the porch was wonderful. The kitchen has everything we needed and the porch has a great bbq grill. We were surprised most people only stayed one night. Highly recommend these cabins!

The cabin was very clean. The black-out shades could have been better. We were not used to trying to sleep in the daylight. The stove did not work properly. I did not know this (have never used an induction) stove top did not work until we went to our next place and my oatmeal cooked in 30 seconds. This one just kinda simmered.Only real complaint.

We spent three nights in Aurora Cabins. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, well equipped, located in amazing , quiet location. We'd highly recommend and will definitely book again next time in Iceland.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Aurora Cabins. It was incredibly clean, had an extremely helpful host, and the most amazing views. The mountains right outside our bedroom window were amazing. We also got to witness the Northern Lights right above the cabins! 10/10 recommend!

Met een zestal huisjes op hetzelfde terrein heeft dat invloed op je privacy hoewel ze veel moeite hebben gedaan om de privé ruimte af te schermen. Wij logeerden in een geschakelde woning en hadden weinig geluidsoverlast. De accommodatie ligt aan de weg naar Höfn, maar van verkeer krijg je weinig mee. Het bed is prima en de woning is goed verwarmd. Wij hebben er goede nachten gehad.

Very cute property. Great view of horse field across the street and mountains behind the cabin. Great area to take pictures. Hofn is a 5 minute drive and such a nice little town. Diner there has great food. The cabin itself was cozy and had so much room. 10/10 recommend staying here if your driving through this area on ring road like we did.

Con la struttura c’è stata una comunicazione scadente. Non avendo ricevuto le informazioni del check in l’ho contattata tramite Expedia il giorno prima senza avere risposta. Ho riscritto in inglese ma nulla. Il giorno del check in ho riscritto ma nulla. Allora ho telefonato ma il numero scritto su Expedia è inesistente. Ho cercato il numero sul loro sito ed ho chiamato più volte senza risposta. Ho scritto una mail, ma nulla. Preoccupata perché viaggiavo con bambini, il tempo era brutto ed in Islanda ci sono pochi alloggi disponibili, ho chiamato l’assistenza Expedia, che dopo numerosi tentativi di chiamare la direzione senza successo, mi ha ricollocata a fatica in un altro hotel. La struttura mi ha risposto nel pomeriggio , penso tardi per me per cancellare la prenotazione nuova, e insistendo di avermi inviato le informazioni giorni prima. Ciò non toglie che io non le ho ricevute ed avevo bisogno di aiuto, è nessuno mi ha risposto per ore e ore. La struttura mi addebitato l’intera notte, anche se non ho soggiornato

We loved this experience the Little cabin on a hill. The Cabins are beautiful and surrounded by an even more beautiful landscape of mountains. We stayed warm and cozy and it was very clean. The Northern Lights were amazing too! The little town of Hofn was very close and quaint. We enjoyed the sunset there on the water and a wonderful seafood dinner. It was the perfect night. We would highly recommend!

The cabin for the price was average compared the prices I paid on my 10 day Ring Road trip and feel this was the worst value. The cabin was clean but certainly not luxurious. Living area was relatively small and cabin seemed somewhat dated. The bed seemed to be a double bed rather than a queen and my wife felt "crammed" against the wall. Was put off by the fact that they requested we wash the dishes prior to leaving. ( My wife didn't think that was unreasonable but I don't think she knew we paid 440 US for the night). There were no disposable glasses in the bathroom or kitchenette so if you brushed your teeth and didn't drink from the faucet you were expected to wash the glass before leaving. Nice location but certainly not like Svartaborg ,which was 150 US more but great view and luxurious.

Was put off by the fact that they requested we wash the dishes prior to leaving. ( My wife didn't think that was unreasonable but I don't think she knew we paid 440 US for the night). There were no disposable glasses in the bathroom or kitchenette so if you brushed your teeth and didn't drink from the faucet you were expected to wash the glass before leaving. Nice location but certainly not like Svartaborg ,which was 150 US more but great view and luxurious.

Do not stay here!!! Smelled awful and I'm pretty go with the flow. Arrived. Entered. And my husband and I looked at each other and said absolutely not. Tried to get a refund and of course the owner denied. Went immediately to Fosshotel and it was spectacular!

These cabins were in such a peaceful and beautiful location, yet still close to the town of Höfn. We loved the nicely appointed cabins. Super quiet.
