No AC in the room!!! It didn’t mention anywhere while booking that there is no AC in the room! Parking was included however you have to walk a good 7 minutes and imagine doing that with your luggage?! The bed was awful and so was the whole room layout. Never staying there again. There are two access cards given, one for main door one for the room.. very inconvenient.

Executive Rooms on the 22nd floor are the only rooms with ac and cable. It’s really a student residence. The room on all other floors are very spartan and virtually unliveable during the warm summer period. I started in a regular room, lasted one night then moved to an executive room. The executive room was really good. Breakfast was pretty good to.

SAIT is a great place to stay during Stampede if you’re on a budget. Standard room doesn’t have AC but when you’re 10 floors up, the wind blows in the windows pretty good. Lots of room, full size fridge. Average University Dorm room suite. Typical University bureaucracy parking. You can’t park overnight in the lot by the entrance or Parking control will ticket you…so that lot sits mostly empty. The free parking is a 10 minute walk away in the parkade…which is OK…I just think the tower should have full control over the lot that everyone knows, was put there for the towers use.

It’s student accommodation so we got what we paid for. It’s one step above a prison cell but it was cheaper than anything else during stampede. No AC in the building either so it was super warm. The staff did give us fans though.

The building looks okay. Not the best but not bad. We stayed there for the stampede. It is convenient and accessible. The breakfast are okay even tho it was the same the whole three days we stayed there. Parking lot is good. The night shift stuff are good. But one of the staff which happen to serve us in the afternoon seems need more training how to communicate with guests. We had to change our room because the first one they assigned to us was dirty. The floor was unclean, the shelves were dusty, pee stains on the toilet, and it was super hot. They let guests borrow stand fans since there is no AC there. Didn't bother us that much. It is cheap, so don't expect too much. Overall, I would still consider staying there next time.

The beds were unusually high off the ground but comfortable- might be difficult for a person with mobility issues or a smaller child to enter/exit the bed. Helpful and friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, baked goods, cereal, and fruit. Really cute white tailed jackrabbits and magpies on the campus. A bit of a walk to the parking garage, but the building has spots for drop off and loading/unloading bags. We would stay here again.

We booked a studio with 1 double bed and kitchenette for 1 night. Because the accommodation was fully booked, we were not able to check-in earlier. However, when we finally checked in after midnight (after attending a wedding), we found a very clean room with a great view. The breakfast was very good in a spacious dining room. I am very impressed with the staff except one (front desk in the afternoon). They work very hard to pay attention to every detail, be it reception, dining, or housekeeping. Will stay here again!

We needed a last minute stop-over and we had stayed at the educational dorms before. It was a convenient and safe location, but we were disappointed with lack of cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen could have contained a kettle, couple of plates and mugs. We were always able to get the basic items at the front desk at other locations! Juliet and front counter staff were very helpful with providing us with a fan, as it was hot in the unit facing south. The beds lacked basic comfort. The floors needed to be washed! We enjoyed breakfast, but bought some tomatoes and avocado to add more healthy choice.

The stay was fine, it took care of our basic needs of a bed and bathroom. Not the same comforts as a hotel that you’re used to though. No tv. No blow dryer. No carpet - the rooms just have concrete floors. If you want a space to sit and visit or relax, you need to use the common lounge area on your floor. The rooms get hot, so bring your own fan. It was ok but I’d only stay again if there was no other option. The campus itself is really pretty and easy to navigate and staff was friendly.

The beds are probably some of the most uncomfortable you will sleep on however it is affordable just know you are staying in college dorms there are no AC and parking is a 7 minute or so walk with stairs back to your dorm room. No television, no ac, no cutlery this isn't a hotel don't expect a hotel and you'll be okay.

This is a great place to stay if you have a large family (like us) or are traveling as a group. The beds are not wonderful, but they did the trick. The room was fairly clean. We loved that there was space for the kids to spread out and relax. The train was walkable distance away for traveling. The breakfast provided was good, just your basics but worked great for us. The one thing we didnt appreciate was the walking distance from the parking garage to the building we were in, doable but inconvenient. Nothing they can really do about that though as being a hotel isnt really their main priority there :) all in all we appreciated our stay and will probably stay there again in the future.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They did let us change rooms due to a housekeeping issues. However, it would have been to be upgraded to a corporate room at no charge or offered some sort of incentive/discount for a future stay. Bed frame plus mattress height needs a step stool to get in bed. The mountain and sunset views were amazingly beautiful from even numbered rooms. The divided bed rooms provided privacy. For less than $100 per night it is quite a good deal. It was an interesting dorm like experience. Included Breakfast was pretty terrific….scrambled eggs, muffins, toast, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee & tea, oatmeal with assorted toppings to choose from plus milk. I would definitely stay again.

Check in was simple, and easy , the room was well stocked and perfect for our needs. The view of the city was breathe taking and SAIT grounds where great for an evening stroll. Parking was a walk the first time around with not being familiar with the area until we discovered direct paths. The continental breakfast was exactly what it was, minimal. We couldn't even get a cup of coffee either day as the craft were empty when we arrived (8am Sat and 930am Sun). Staff weren't approachable. Next time I would ensure to make other plans for breakfast. Overall I would recommend and stay again.

Our bathroom had things that were breaking like the toilet paper holder kept falling off, the toilet wasn't flat on the ground so everytime you sat down it moved, the shower head was healed to the wall with tape. Other than that the place was spaces, but theres no utensils in the kitchen, but the breakfast was pretty good.

We booked a studio with 1 double bed and kitchenette for 1 night. Because the accommodation was fully booked, we were not able to check-in earlier. However, when we finally checked in after midnight (after attending a wedding), we found a very clean room with a great view. The breakfast was very good in a spacious dining room. I am very impressed with the staff except one (front desk in the afternoon). They work very hard to pay attention to every detail, be it reception, dining, or housekeeping. Will stay here again!

The room was nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful but just know the kitchenette doesn’t have dishes/cutlery/dish soap/sponge/pots/pans/paper towel/dish towel/ or anything that would make it usable to guests, the parking is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, making it slightly inconvenient. Otherwise we had an awesome stay and the continental breakfast was especially excellent

Room was very nice and well-equipped. There was no recycling bin, and when I asked at the desk, I was told to simply throw my recycling in the garbage! The continental breakfast was poor. The coffee was revolting. What was labelled ``scrambled eggs'' did not taste like eggs at all! It was terrible. Oatmeal was cold. There was no orange juice. Pancakes were okay, though. Staff was pleasant. Since I have difficulty walking long distances, they were so kind as to let me park in the lot just outside the doors. The bed was weird. You can not sit on the edge of the bed since it was so soft. The comforter was tucked in strangely so that I could not pull it up to cover my shoulders. The smoke detector went off while I was having a shower. The remote for the TV was just strange; there is no on/off button and it took me some time to finally get the TV on.

Zum Glück hatte ich nicht auf negative Bewertungen geachtet und diesen Aufenthalt gebucht. Das war absolut perfekt so. Die Lage ist sowohl für die Stadttour als auch für die Ausflüge nach Banff perfekt, da direkt an Metro. In die Stadt kommt man auch locker in 20 Minuten zu Fuss. Zu Crowfoot Station - von wo die meisten Busse und Poparides nach Banff starten, kommt man locker in 15 Minuten mit Metro. Die Sicht vom Zimmer ist absolut super. Das Frühstück für kanadische Verhältnisse absolut in Ordnung. Dass es keine Kochutensilien gibt, ist ja klar.

Great location if you want to be reasonably close to downtown Calgary to see and experience what the city has to offer. Right on a C-Train line, as well. On the other hand, there is no air-conditioning. We were comfortable for a few nights and then found the heat unbearable. Also, the double-size beds are definitely too small for my wife and I. No dishes in the kitchen if you hope to do some cooking. Hot water seems to take forever to reach your room and, even then, it is probably lukewarm at best. Cafeteria where they serve breakfast is really nice but you also have to take into account they do not serve any bacon, sausages or any thing like that. They had some stuff that looked like scrambled eggs - I could never figure out if they were real eggs or not, but I don't think they were. Nice indoor parking lot but it is a really long distance from the building where you are staying. Overall, it is a really nice campus as you will notice if you have a chance to look around a bit. Staff were all very nice and helpful. They did not make any games rooms etc available for us to use, which they sometimes do on other campuses that rent out rooms in the summertime.

I feel like I was catfished. Property is nothing like the photos. Sure it’s serviceable, feels safe and inexpensive comparatively for the area. You get free continental breakfast too including hot eggs so there’s that. But don’t assume it’s like a hotel. It’s a dorm room. Concrete floors, squeaky spring mattress high off the floor, no coffee maker or tv (the ad doesn’t say it’s included but don’t assume like I did), it’s loud, it’s hot and there’s no fan. If you know what you are getting I think it’s a decent place to crash. Just wish they were a little more transparent with what you were getting so you’re not disappointed.
