We had the soaker with a loft. The stairs up to the loft were a bit steep and there wasn’t much room besides the bed but it was comfortable. The AC worked well. It was a 4-5 min walk from the public parking. Several dining options right outside the apartment. We only stayed one night and then took the ferry to Tangier.

This hotel is literally right in the heart of everything going on in old town Tarifa. The town is alive and humming both day and night, right outside the hotel. The hotel entrance is just down a side street (a couple hundred feet off the main street), so it gets surprisingly quiet in the hotel. My adult son and I were in room 13, the highest room in the building. Although our room was only a few $ more than regular rooms, it was called a deluxe apartment, and was an incredibly spacious room, with a small kitchenette (stove burner, sink, fridge), a large bed and large sofa bed that the staff was kind enough to make into a bed for us in advance of our arrival. Very clean room. The bathroom has obviously been updated and is roomy and posh. The front desk staff (Kadri in the mornings, and a young man who is a college student in the afternoon/evening -- I think his name is Pepe?) were both soo kind and helpful (Kadri in her advance correspondence with me, and Pepe in helping me set up a day trip via ferry to Tangiers when we arrived at the hotel). For parking, my son pulled the car up near the hotel -- I dashed in to check in and get info on parking. We parked at a nearby lot, which was only about $20 a day. We stayed in five different cities during our visit to Spain this August, and this was definitely our favorite hotel of all. I highly, highly, highly recommend!!!

High-quality room + affordable rate = high value. Located smack dab in the heart of the walled old city on a lively street with fun cafes, restaurants and bakeries. Cute gift shops are within a short walk. One block from the cathedral. Very convenient brief walk to the ferry. Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived after reception was closed but they also run a restaurant on the ground floor where the wait staff doubles as reception staff. The room was good size with basic amenities in the kitchenette.

It was very clean . Comfy bed and pillows. Nice shower. Staff very nice- check in easy. Breakfast right next door was very nice also. Walkable to ferry , beach to watch the kite surfers. Shops all around. One tip is entrance on the side down the alley next to the cafe.

This was the most beautiful room to stay in! The inter design and the balconies overlooking the old town are wonderful! The central location could not be better. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience!

Big enough for 4 people, top-quality, a very convenient mini-kitchen. Our room directly overlooks a charming Old European street full of cute restaurants, full of life. Great vibe. Yet affordable. Super-competent staff who were fleible with our check-in time. The restaurant downstairs is great, too.

Apartment hotellet ligger perfekt, hvis man vil besøge Tarifa som turist. Hvis man er surfer, ligger det lidt væk, da det ligger midt i centrum. for os var det perfekt. Vi kom udenfor receptionens åbningstid, men den trådløse indtjekning fungerede perfekt. Værelset var enormt stort og derfor er det også med stor undren at sengen max. var 130 bred. Det er simpelthen for småt til 2 voksne mennesker. Det er det eneste vi har at udsætte på dette ophold (men det var også slemt nok) Derudover kan det kun anbefales.

Unser Erlebnis in Tarifa war sehr speziell da wir in ganz Spanien Stromausfall hatten. Auch das Internet ging nicht immer. Trotzdem war unser Hotel über diverse Kanäle immer mit uns im Kontakt um uns zum Einchecken zu geleiten. Kadri vom Hotel hatt uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns gute Tipps geben. Am Morgen hatt sie uns noch Kerzen vor das Zimmer bereit gestellt!

We stayed two nights in order to visit Tangier. The hotel location is very convenient to the port. The bus station is a bit of a walk, but easy enough. Our room overlooked a bar/restaurant that was open late, so we needed earplugs, but otherwise a very comfortable stay. We were afraid we were going to miss the 15:00 front desk closure, but Kadri was so helpful in arranging self check-in if needed; luckily we arrived in time.

What a gorgeous location! I can only assume we got such a fantastic price because it’s the off season. Within a 5 minute walk to the port. Lots of food and shopping around. Beautiful city; feels safe.

It was very clean . Comfy bed and pillows. Nice shower. Staff very nice- check in easy. Breakfast right next door was very nice also. Walkable to ferry , beach to watch the kite surfers. Shops all around. One tip is entrance on the side down the alley next to the cafe.

Big enough for 4 people, top-quality, a very convenient mini-kitchen. Our room directly overlooks a charming Old European street full of cute restaurants, full of life. Great vibe. Yet affordable. Super-competent staff who were fleible with our check-in time. The restaurant downstairs is great, too.

Charming and Comfortable Stay at Hotel Siglo XIX in Tarifa! I absolutely loved staying at Hotel Siglo XIX! The hotel is super cute, very clean, and full of charm. I traveled with my two teenagers and we stayed in a unique two-story room that was perfect for us. There was an extra bed upstairs, which gave us just the right amount of space and comfort. The room had everything we needed—a mini fridge, stove, silverware, plates, and even a coffee machine. It was so convenient to be able to prepare a quick meal or enjoy coffee in the morning. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The location is ideal—right in the center of Tarifa with restaurants, shops, and cafes all around. You can walk everywhere. We were especially happy that the port is just a short 6-minute walk away, which made it super easy to catch the ferry to Morocco. This hotel really made our stay special. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a cozy, well-located place to stay in Tarifa. We would absolutely come back!

Cute gift shops are within a short walk. One block from the cathedral. Very convenient brief walk to the ferry. Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived after reception was closed but they also run a restaurant on the ground floor where the wait staff doubles as reception staff. The room was good size with basic amenities in the kitchenette.

Super cute hotel more than perfect location. Very friendly lady in the front desk. No complaints at all … my only hopefully helpful comment is that there is no elevator so think about that if ADA, have kids in strollers, or lots of luggage. I highly recommend it with this only caveat above!

This amazing property is a delight with its ancient origins the reburshiment has been sympathetic as has all the properties in the area - it is located on a totally delightful street with many bars shops and restaurants located in the tiny back streets. My room has a mezzanine where the bed was situated and it requires an additional handrail at the top on the left side.Otherwise perfect
