Phoenix All Suites West Hotel

Condo was nice. Doesn’t have washer or dryer. Does have laundry services for your towels and wash cloths. Elevators take a long time. Only two elevators. Good access to beach. There was a bug on the headboard of our king bed.

It was very clean. Smaller than what we normally stay in but worked for us on a short vacay. The pool was too small and not impressive. Now parking was great, property staff was great, great access to beach and places to eat. Room and place very clean. They need to definitely remodel on the pool and it be perfect.

The room was not what I signed up for. The pool, hot tub and beach access where closed do to construction that was not disclosed at the time of rental. I would have rescheduled if I would have known. There where ropes for Scaffolding hung outside our porch which beat in the wind all night long.

The location is directly on the beach with balconies that have a gorgeous view. There are some fantastic restaurants in the area. The elevator situation is not great. One on each side, totalling 2, and about 15 floors. The wait when we first got there was atrocious. The pool is perfect. The beach access is nice. I do wish the umbrella and loungers were included with the price since it is listed as an amenity. There is a full kitchen in each condo and a full fridge, which can be a major money saver. I will use this property again. It could use some upgrades but overall, was nice.

Location was great, room was clean, had great weather. Only downside was the elevator, very slow did I say the elevator was slow. Great stay

It was a little inconvenient because of the construction going on. We couldn't use our balcony until after 4:30 in the afternoon. To get to the beach we had to walk through our parking lot to the business next door and use their beach access.

The location was wonderful. Bahama Bob's was next door. They have great food and service. Several good eating places within a 5 minute ride. We had a great balcony view. Our negatives were elevator issues on arrival. We had to lug our stuff upstairs. However, that was fixed quickly and we had elevator option the rest of the trip. The 2nd level parking is too steep for low profile cars, but we were able tp stay on ground level, where it is covered. I was concerned fot cleanliness after finding a banana peel in our trash on arrival, however, we ended up enjoying our stay.

Great balcony view. Need additional elevator. Need hooks throughout the unit. Enjoyed visit.

Condo was nice inside but there should have been clear communication that there was ongoing construction and the pool and balcony were not always available. The condo was very clean and the desk manager was nice.

Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time. However, it would have been helpful to know in advance that coffee filters weren’t provided, and that the washer and dryers were located on the first floor rather than in the unit. They also require coins, but there was no change machine available. Additionally, we had to pay $50 for a parking permit for a second vehicle, which would have been good to know ahead of time.

Place was dirty. Floors turned out feet black, a used razor left in the shower and some kind of stain on the bedroom carpet. Will never use this company again

The property was in a good area and the beach was amazing. The view from the balcony was also very special. As for the state of the apartment, it was very obviously not cleaned well. There were red stains on the bathroom cabinet and the toilet. The blow dryer was greasy with hair all over. Just a lot of hair all around the apartment that obviously didn’t belong to us. Another problem we ran into was the lack of cookware, so keep that in mind when booking.

Not as clean as I had hoped but not disgusting. My baby had black feet after being in his walker for less than 30 minutes. Toilet was hard to flush, actually broke a nail on it. Had plenty of room for 2 adults, 1 kid, and 1 baby. Having 2 toilets was nice.

The room we had was dirty and filthy. The a/c filter was beyond dirty and I called the office 3 times and they did nothing! Customer service and professionalism does not exist. The carpet in the bedroom was very dirty with trash behind the bed and also the living room furniture was stained and dirty. Really??!! Do better! It’s not that difficult to keep the rooms clean. Is this how you manage your properties? We will never use any of your locations in the future.

Very good stay. We just felt like our room needed a deep dive cleaning. It jad a musky smell. Overall good and we will stay there again.

When we checked in my daughter found 3 different kinda pills and and behind the bed found a bottle of vodka and moster drink can and toe nails in our sofa bed and the toilet had not been clean it was black under the ring balcony windows had lips prints all over the windows other then that it was a nice stay again

No closet for hanging clothes except for in the utility closet. Had to live out of suitcases as there were no dressers. Shower had no water pressure so it took a while to get a shower. Took our shoes off when we got in our room and our socks actually got filthy so the floors were not mopped after last people. Would not use again.

Well it took me three moves to get a room. They all had black mold in the air vents which is a huge health problem y’all should be check the vents in every room to see how many other rooms have the same thing. That is a major health problem.

The view is lovely here. As a family of 6, we only stayed one night, and I probably wouldn’t stay more than that with a group our size. It was as expected, though, so I have no complaints. The property is dated and a bit dirty, but it is a spacious alternative to a regular hotel for a good price. We would stay here again, knowing that we wouldn’t stay more than a few days.

Property location is exceptional, on the beach and close local restaurants. The hotel staff was not responsive for basic toiletries. The kitchen counter was sticky upon arrival and it did not appear that the floors had been mopped. Our room is in need of update, carpet in the bedroom made my eye twitch. Bring slippers! Aside from the cleanliness issue, it was quiet and the ac was phenomenal. Room 406, please get rid of the carpet. The property grounds were finely manicured and clean.

The ocean view from the condo was breathtaking. It was an easy walk to the beach. The staff was professional and friendly. The condo itself is in need of some updating, there was no luggage rack or dresser so my clothing stayed folded in my luggage. My luggage had to lay open on the floor. The bathroom is in need of a complete renovation. There was no vanity which made getting ready to go out difficult, and the shower had poor water flow.

Looking out the balcony you felt like your on the water. Open the sliding doors and the sound of the ocean was great. Beach was amazing. Lots of great food. The condo was dated and furniture was not that comfortable

The room itself is clean and nice. Nothing fancy but serves its purpose. It sleeps 6 but the bunk beds are kid sized. No adult over 5’8” can use those. The other bed is a sofa sleeper so mostly for kids. The pool is small and very warm this time of year. The exterior is a little dated and needs some love. Views are great and so is the beach area!

We had a good time, hotel is right on the beach, views are amazing. Walls of hotel are very thin, could hear people in rooms al around us, was annoying. Overall though it was a fun trip.

The beds were not comfortable and the rooms are not insulated to quiet the noise.

Rental was clean w a great view. Bathroom was tiny w no room for the two doors it had - couldn’t even open them fully. Coffee pot didn’t work.

Loved that it was right on the beach. Disliked the bathroom as there is no bathroom counter. Also no closet space. There is a closet but it has a shelving unit in it making it impossible to hang up anything. No dresser in the bedroom and only one nightstand.

The suite we had was very basic. Not a single rug anywhere to wipe feet. Very little cooking necessities in the kitchen, so of you plan to cook, bring your own supplies. The view was nice.

Room was nice and spacious, wish the bed was more comfortable ( from someone with neck and lower back problems) View was excellent! Had a great time! Office staff were pleasant and welcoming.

The property location was great! Direct access to the beach was definitely a plus. Both pool and hot tub were clean even though I didn’t get to use them. The bed was comfortable and the balcony faced the beach which was great for sitting and reading/meditating/relaxing. While the kitchen has been updated, the space would be much more delightful with updated furniture. Overall we enjoyed

Great view and beach access. Clean room when we arrived. The only two things ( and little things). The keypad on door didn't light up so hard to open door after sunset. We never received service, after our 3rd day had to go to lobby and get toilet paper and towels. I would definitely come back and recommend to anyone traveling to Gulf Shores. And no beach necessities pro idef. We used a beach service to get chairs and umbrella.

The company was in constant contact to make sure that we understood how the rental worked. We were able to check in with no contact, and our unit was available early. The unit was comfortable and clean. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. This is a family friendly place. Access to and views of the beach were lovely!

Navigating was very slow due to slow elevator! Request for tv to be fixed in bedroom was made on our first day with management and no response!

I loved the area and the access to the beach. We had to go down to the office several times because I never got the notification that the room was ready, never received my welcome packet with my wifi code in it. The office staff was not the friendliest. Other than that, I do recommend this facility. The room was clean and exactly like the picture.

The facility was very clean but we did have a few issues. We arrive at 2am so I went to the front desk that following morning to get our parking pass. When I was explaining to the lady at the desk that I was picking up the parking pass since we got in so late I was interrupted by her telling me “check in isn’t until 4pm” I again explained that I had the room booked for the previous night as well but just needed the parking pass. I was then given the pamphlet. After this we were leaving to go to Walmart and since we arrived so late we had to park on the upper level. The ramp was steep to climb and the turn was very sharp to make but our 4 runner was able to maneuver well entering. Exiting was a different story. It was so difficult exiting the parking level due to an almost impossible sharp turn and steep exit ramp. The ramp itself was so narrow you had to align perfectly so not scrape our vehicle. And the pillar on the corner of the turn was damaged and had paint marks from other vehicles hitting it to exit. 10/10 don’t recommend parking on the upper floor even in a standard size vehicle. Once we returned from Walmart we carried the kids and groceries back to the room to find that our room was had been propped open. We checked the room, thankfully no items missing. Assuming this was from housekeeping since we made sure the door had been shut behind us when we left, I called the office and they were unconcerned this occurred and just assured that it was done by housekeeping.

Beautiful location. No one picked up the phone at front desk. No one staffed at front desk when I went down to the office.

Check in was a mess. After 4pm and still no text to check in. Didn’t know there was an office to check in because it said I would get a text when the room was ready. The elevators were horrible. Not sure why anyone think having the air set to 73 is a good idea. There was no air flow at all. We all sweated. Then the last morning ALL early morning. There was a loud clicking/ shaking noise coming from the air aways( I think) It was not relaxing whatsoever. We will never stay here again.

The property was so kind in allowing us to check in early after we found ourselves in a bad situation!! They were kind and quick to respond!

Great location,close to food and shops, right on the beach, free parking. Only complaint was it wasn’t the cleanest.

Just a short getaway for a day or two. Very enjoyable, very clean with a nice oceanfront view. It was very convenient to several restaurants in the area.

Great view of the beach . Easy walk to nearby restaurants. The perfect location.

This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and our experience was absolutely wonderful. There's plenty of local cafes, bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Our favorite was the local ice cream shop across the street. My small family really enjoyed our stay @ The Phoenix All Suites West. Our condo was perfect and of course the best view in town was from our balcony.
