Very secure building (you need a key card to go up AND down the elevators; front door requires 24/7 card access but there is always someone at reception). I stayed in the Valentine suite and the balcony was perfect for morning coffee and enjoying the lively neighborhood. Overall a fantastic boutique hotel with lots of colorful unique decor.

Not a 4 star by far!!! It’s horrible. One old elevator. Barely fits 2 with 2 luggage’s. And barely works. There is no staff! One person sitting at desk & that’s it. The lady is not smiling & of course because she had to pull people’s luggage into storage room. No one at breakfast. The place is old, 3 shower heads, but one works. Old brass, not polished. Touch latch cabinet does not work. The front desk has to regulate your room temperature! You have a thermostat, but it does not work!!! You have to press a button to get out of hotel door. No one to greet you. Really a 2 star maybe. Ruined our Paris experience. I literally almost left day 1, but they don’t give you your money back. It’s a sad old place, with no service, poor lighting.

This is a lovely boutiques hotel in The Marais, it I es an excellent location right next to an active square with lots of bistros to sit out and close to restaurants, shops and Rue Du Rivoli for more shopping. Walking distance to Notre Dame and old city island. The rooms are bright and have a nitro type charm to them. Staff helpful. Only thing was elevator had some issues but we all managed.

Nydelig Boutique-hotell midt i Marais, med gåavstand til det meste. Vi hadde executive-rom og det var god størrelse på dette til å være i Paris. Gode senger! Eget dusj og eget toalettrom med vask og føn. Fin frokostsal med god frokost. Egen cocktailbar på hotellet med meget dyktig bartender. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet!

Richtig tolles Design (Philippe Starck), smarte Zimmergestaltung. Freundliches Personal. Top Lage mitten in hipper Marais Lage - fußläufig zum Hôtel de Ville und dadurch sehr zentral. Trotzdem ruhig. Die Zimmer sind wie immer in Paris klein. Allerdings ist der Grundriss sehr durchdacht und dadurch hat man genug Platz und Stauraum. Man fühlt sich außerdem sehr sicher, weil man das Hotel nur mit Zimmerkarte betreten kann und die Rezeption rund um die Uhr besetzt ist. Dadurch ist die Bar leider komplett leer - wer also eine belebte Hotelbar sucht, findet dies hier nicht.

Nice looking boutique hotel in a good location near the bottom of Le Marais neighborhood. Easy access to subway and also walkable to many of the city's attractions. The common areas were nicely furnished although chopped up and didn't appear to be much used by guests. Our room was somewhat smaller than expected and did not have a bureau for storing our clothes; only two shelves above the area for hanging coats, one of which was too high to to be easily reached and useful. Only one suitcase rack, so one of our two suitcases had to be laid out on the floor. Housekeeping was spotty -- we only were given facecloths half of the days we were there and had in search of kleenex when the container in the room ran out and wasn't refilled. Nearly all the guests seemed to be Americans, but interestingly there were no English speaking channels onthe hotel's TV network.

This is a super cute boutique hotel. Don’t expect any action at the bar because it is closed most of the time but that really doesn’t matter because there are 4 corners of restaurants right outside the door. Super convenient and easy walk to shopping, restaurants and The Louvre. The room was decorated beautifully and was super quiet. The breakfast (served to your room) was excellent. Staff was very friendly as well.

The property is starting to show wear and tear. The common areas are very nice but hardly used. The room needed to be refreshed. There was tape holding a mirror together. The WC had water on the floor, supposedly due to irregular water pressure. The blinds in the bathroom were not operational. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The location was very good, in the fashionable Marias neighborhood. Lots of good food and shopping. Our sixth floor room did have a nice balcony with a view of Norte Dame Cathedral. There was an issue in the price. The estimate from Expedia was exceeded by $400 in the confirmation. The price for Saturday was twice the price of Thursday. The office said it was because of the Rugby World Cup being in Paris. The $1600 for three nights was NOT worth it !!!

My spouse & I stayed here 6 nights and it was wonderful. The hotel itself is very cool and clean. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was small but doable. Bed and pillows very comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was great, had no issue with hot or cold water. Maid service came when needed and did a great job replacing what we needed. The area around the hotel is great too- so many shops and restaurants. Felt very safe walking around, even at night. We had absolutely zero issues and would definitely return!

4 star with hair in shower and bed from previous stay. Curtains stained. Room configuration so tight shower towel had to be laid on floor if you wanted it on exit of shower. Common areas quite beautiful.

Design, design, design. Lovely entrance, but the room has some serious places where design overtook convenience. Like nowhere to hang a towel up except one small hook in the bedroom wall. Sink is in the bedroom where not an inch to put toiletries. Shower is lovely but opens into the bedroom so that the shower mat scoots over the floor. Mirrors everywhere. Staff not very welcoming.

We were on the lowest floor for sleeping rooms, floor #1 and faced the street so it was often noisy at night outside of our room. We could not hear guests in other rooms, however! Loved the hotel and would recommend to others

We loved the room. Although small, they have top notch details like the shower, which is maybe the best I’ve used. The staff was friendly and attentive to non-French speakers. The hotel itself is very attractive and smells great, a very nice touch that leaves a great impression.

We had room Vivienne, overlooking a quiet side street. Large room by Paris standards, modern bathroom, climate controlled, comfortable bed, quiet, everything was great! Friendly and very helpful staff! Great location, nearby restaurants and bars, shopping. We walked to Ste. Chappelle, the Louvre, and into the northern Marais. Would absolutely stay here again!

The interior design prioritizes aesthetics over convenience. For example, there's a single towel hook for the 4 towels and it's right next to toilet door, so you can't close it. Shower is pointed to spray water out the door. There's not a single drawer for your belongings. Slow WiFi.

My spouse & I stayed here 6 nights and it was wonderful. The hotel itself is very cool and clean. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was small but doable. Bed and pillows very comfortable! Water pressure in the shower was great, had no issue with hot or cold water. Maid service came when needed and did a great job replacing what we needed. The area around the hotel is great too- so many shops and restaurants. Felt very safe walking around, even at night. We had absolutely zero issues and would definitely return!

Cecile and the woman from Indonesia (forget her name) from the front desk we’re so extremely helpful and kind. Spoke great English and gave us restaurant recommendations, directions to sites, and great conversation. They were very professional, accommodating and kind. The hitel was a plush boutique hotel, very clean and reasonably priced for the area it was in. Very quiet, lots of shops and restaurants. Thanks so much for a memorable time in Paris. You were GREAT!

Small, boutique hotel in the heart of the Marais. Lots of interesting dining and shopping nearby. The hotel presents very well, although our room might have been slightly smaller than expected, but the best part of our experience was the professionalism of the staff, particularly the concierge. We had booked a car to take us to CDG; however, we were notified that our driver had car problems and wouldn’t be able to meet us at the appropriate time. The concierge (I am not sure that is her title) immediately began searching for a taxi at a difficult time at the last moment. If you have ever had to do this, you know what I mean—it is nerve racking. She succeeded and we were even early to check in. Great service.

After spending 7 nights, we strongly encourage you to avoid this hotel. Detailed review on google: (1) wife often travels with teddy bear that deceased family member (who loved to travel) gave her (perhaps odd but high sentimental value); (2) item goes missing from our room; (3) we tell reception, they promise to check with housekeeping and check laundry room right away; (4) next morning, they hadn’t checked but again promised to do so; (5) eventually checked, said it was not there and said it may have been sent to offsite laundry facility (very frustrating b/c they could have checked hotel right away to avoid it being sent offsite); (6) next day, told us that hotel *emailed* laundry facility (no response) but had not called them; (7) told them they need to take this seriously, to *call* the facility and for management to call us ASAP – they promised to do so and said they would “make it right” if they can’t find item; (8) checked out next morning, told no update but would call us ASAP; (9) 3 days later, no call or email so we emailed hotel; (10) 2 days later, hotel says facility did not have our item, apologized and to let them know if they can do anything to fix this; (11) we asked for discount (offered to repay it if our item was ever found); (12) 10 days later, completely ignoring us and management has never contacted us. This hotel is located a really fun neighborhood: cafes, shops, chocolatiers, well to many of the city highlights. Too bad it was at the end of our stay in Paris, as we did not get to enjoy everything to offer. Whoever their designer is: chef’s kiss!! When in Paris I will stay again!

Really lovely hotel, looks so pretty and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a modest size but still larger than most you'll find in Paris. Breakfast is so calm, good healthy choice options and staff are quick to restock - all very fresh. No bad word to say about this hotel apart from the location isn't great if you will be relying on ubers / bolts to pick you up from the hotel. Best to walk down the road a few mins and get picked up from there.

I loved everything about this boutique hotel. It is very pretty. The staff is wonderful. It is in the heart of the Marais and within walking distance of so many famous locations. I would return in a heartbeat.

We had room Vivienne, overlooking a quiet side street. Large room by Paris standards, modern bathroom, climate controlled, comfortable bed, quiet, everything was great! Friendly and very helpful staff! Great location, nearby restaurants and bars, shopping. We walked to Ste. Chappelle, the Louvre, and into the northern Marais. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location in the Marais - lots of dining options and shopping nearby. Walkable to Notre Dame as well. The room was very cozy with lots of artsy touches and mirrors throughout without being gaudy. The mattress was super comfortable. All of the rooms have ladies names which was a unique touch as well. Very attentive service from the reception staff. Overall we loved our stay here and would love to return sometime.

We had a wonderful time. The room was very nicely appointed and just as pictured. We had a delicious chocolate from the quaint shop next door (must try their macarons). The breakfast was outstanding. My only complaint is that you could hear the noise from the strewn Saturday night. No problems otherwise. We would definitely come back.

Nydelig Boutique-hotell midt i Marais, med gåavstand til det meste. Vi hadde executive-rom og det var god størrelse på dette til å være i Paris. Gode senger! Eget dusj og eget toalettrom med vask og føn. Fin frokostsal med god frokost. Egen cocktailbar på hotellet med meget dyktig bartender. Jeg anbefaler dette hotellet!

The location is walking distance to the louvre, the seine and many restaurants and shops. The staff are very helpful and I would very highly recommend this boutique hotel. Also, the buffet breakfast is a lovely start to each day.

This is I think the 3rd or 4th time I stay in this hotel, everyone is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is quiet and you can really rest. The rooms are also very nice and comfortable, and my favorite thing is the Breakfast, normally in Paris breakfast are very simple, which is ok, but here you have a very good selection and the taste is very nice. Also want to add that the are is fantastic and really easy to move around, lots of good restaurants and night life.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and each time we absolutely loved it. It’s cozy both in winter and summer, perfectly located in the Marais and the staff has always been so lovely. This time our room was upgraded at arrival, a wonderful and exciting surprise. Will for sure be staying again any time we are back in Paris and recommend this hotel to all of our friends.

Our stay at Hotel 9 Confidentiel was very comfortable. The hôtel is well maintained and centrally located. The area is lively but quiet at night. The only problem we had was that we had no room cleaning our last two days. Not sure why, we were out of the room for most of the day. On our last day, someone definitely came into our room because our luggage was moved but they did not clean the room nor did they leave fresh towels. It freaked us out. Thankfully, we were able to catch the cleaning lady on our floor later that evening to grab fresh towels. Besides from that, I would recommend the hôtel because of location.
