Everything good, except jets on jacuzzi tub were not functioning correctly. With jets totally covered with water- water was shooting out of tub all over bathroom. Shower in that same tub also malfunctioning. The only other thing, there are no dishes in kitchen. It’s fully stocked for cooking- but no plates or cups. Otherwise- location is perfect

The property is located in a great central location. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted and in most cases it was less than a mile. We walked to the Collesium relatively smoothly. The Trevi Fountain and Parthenon were a half mile away or so. Tons of shopping and restaurants as soon as you step out of the building. Marlon was wonderful. He stayed in contact with me the whole time. Our train from Florence was delayed due to strikes, and he was very accommodating. The one con that is on us— we did not know this property did not have an elevator/lift before booking. Walking up 3 flights of narrow stairs multiple times a day was not enjoyable. Also, the property is not a hotel. If you don’t mind those two cons, you will really enjoy the property.

I’d recommend if you really want a jacuzzi, if you don’t plan to use it I’m not sure on the value. The staff is very helpful but I’d rate it as average because despite the great location, and the personal touch because: - triple room is not really a triple, the other bed is essentially a foot ottoman that folds out and the photos on the space are misreading, jacuzzi is right across from the bed - 3 flights of very scary thin steps - the shower was totally clogged and required a Plummer to come, which they did the same day - they do not clean your room everyday or leave nearly enough towels for a jacuzzi room, the floor was always wet in both the bathroom and main room with jacuzzi because you only have one small window with practically no natural light - nowhere to put anything in the shower, not a single shelf or ledge - limited bathroom counter space - no mirror except in bathroom, not a full length or otherwise A few improvements would go a long way for comfort!

Location is fantastic. Close to popular sight-seeing, restaurants, and shops. We were greeted by Marlon, who was very kind and communicated with us very well. I contacted the hotel a week before our trip to verify our stay. They were quick to respond with clear check-in directions. The jacuzzi tub in the room was a nice touch and worked well. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. A/C worked well. The staircase to the accommodation is very steep and small (like a lot of places in the city), made of marble and very pretty. Just be prepared to go up and down about 3 floors. Marlon helped with our luggage which was very nice.

Super clean, and staff was helpful w/luggage and airport shuttle (fee). Steps away from great food/shopping. Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps were all very walkable. Very safe area to walk at night. The street noise could not be heard in the room w/windows shut. Walls are paper thin and entire conversations are easily heard. No elevator. The very narrow, winding, spiral marble staircase with a thin metal handrail is 50 steps up. There is an AED and fire extinguisher available. Small table and chairs with coffee service was nice to enjoy the street activity below while having coffee. It’s the perfect room for agile people who can handle the stairs easily and want to see all the best spots Rome has to offer.

This place is in a great location, walking distance to everything we waned to see. The manager Marlon was great! He helped us with our luggage up three floors of spiral staircase. He got us situated and gave us his number if we needed anything. He was very helpful with attending to our need for an extra night and for securing a taxi for airport. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a nice hot tub for soaking after miles of walking. Room had a Neapresso maker, water and light snacks.

Excellent location - easy to walk to most sites of interest. Wonderful hot tub to relax after a day walking about. Staff responded to all enquiries immediately and were very helpful. Just be prepared for a climb to the 3rd floor up a steep spiral staircase, but no problem if you are fit and healthy. I would fully recommend this stay.

Beautiful room with a sweet jacuzzi tub in central Rome! Please make sure to read the description and other reviews: there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit tedious but after the first day or two you get used to them! Plus there’s a ton to do all day in the area so you’ll likely only have to go up & down once or twice a day. Salvatore and his team were extremely helpful throughout our stay with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs and ordering transportation to and from the airport. Thank you so much! :)

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Navona property. The location is the best - walking distance to most things, lots of restaurants right outside. Always very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. The suite we stayed in was on the third floor, up a very narrow, winding staircase very Medieval. Fun, but be aware. In this suite, the walls were quite thin and we happened to have extremely noisy neighbours, shouting and banging in the middle of the night. Not the hotels fault, of course but annoying. We would definitely stay here again.

Stay clear! The communication with the host was good, and he was polite. The location was good during the day, but extremely noisy at night. But it was mold in the room (at the walls and bathroom) and when we tried to use the AC it smelled blue cheese right away. Nasty and it didn’t feel sanitary or safe. The shower was bad also. Low pressure and just not comfortable. Because of that we are happy we only had to stay one night.

Room was clean and freshly remodeled. Marlon was an amazing host meeting us to store our bags due to early arrival. He was very friendly and helpful on arranging transportation to the airport for us the following morning. The location was great, with plenty of nearby shops and attractions.

Hotel room was clean, cozy and quiet and in excellent condition. Salvatore was a great, helpful and very polite host and he also helped us to get transportation to the airport. The staircase to the hotel was steep and narrow, but the staff carried our luggage both ways, up and down. Breakfast place was nice and breakfast included coffee, orangejuice and croissant. You could also buy some omelett or sandwich to complete the breakfast. Location was excellent. It was easy to walk to Trastevere, Pantheon and other places from the hotel and it took about 40 minutes from hotel to get to the airport by taxi. I highly recommend this hotel.

The property is in a great area close to Piazza Navona and short walks to Trevis Fountain, Spanish Steps and Vatican City. It was clean with a comfortable bed but there was not daily housekeeping or breakfast as suggested. The biggest downside is the noise not only from outside (which is understandable given location) but zero soundproofing means you can hear every word, TV, toilet flush from reception and other rooms, which really negatively impacted the experience.

We loved this hotel!! The only struggle was that I struggled to sleep because the outside was very loud, so bring ear plugs if that bothers you.

The property is in a great area close to Piazza Navona and short walks to Trevis Fountain, Spanish Steps and Vatican City. It was clean with a comfortable bed but there was not daily housekeeping or breakfast as suggested. The biggest downside is the noise not only from outside (which is understandable given location) but zero soundproofing means you can hear every word, TV, toilet flush from reception and other rooms, which really negatively impacted the experience.

Fantastic location for walking about the streets for shopping or food - there’s plenty around. The room was spacious and comfortable as well. Marlon was very friendly and helpful, and very kindly assisted us in getting our suitcases up the narrow spiral staircase. One thing to note is the walls are VERY thin. We could fully hear the conversation the guests in the next room were having. Our room looked out over the square below so the music was quite loud in the evening as well, but we didn’t mind.

The pluses include- great location, nice neighborhood, very modern room, staff helpful. Minuses- major was the stairs however, by the end of our stay we were used to them. One set of keys was supplied which was challenging for a family when someone wanted to leave and someone wanted to stay because you needed the key to get in the building. The mattress was terrible. The room was very modern as well as the bathroom however the bathroom was extremely small with no shelf in the shower to hold soap and shampoo. Overall ranking a C.

The property is located in a great central location. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted and in most cases it was less than a mile. We walked to the Collesium relatively smoothly. The Trevi Fountain and Parthenon were a half mile away or so. Tons of shopping and restaurants as soon as you step out of the building. Marlon was wonderful. He stayed in contact with me the whole time. Our train from Florence was delayed due to strikes, and he was very accommodating. The one con that is on us— we did not know this property did not have an elevator/lift before booking. Walking up 3 flights of narrow stairs multiple times a day was not enjoyable. Also, the property is not a hotel. If you don’t mind those two cons, you will really enjoy the property.

Room was clean and freshly remodeled. Marlon was an amazing host meeting us to store our bags due to early arrival. He was very friendly and helpful on arranging transportation to the airport for us the following morning. The location was great, with plenty of nearby shops and attractions.

We did not receive free bottle of wine as listed with reservation. We did not hear back from hosts about towels, Wi-Fi, and other inquiries until after we checked out. My dad speaks fluent Italian so that was not the issue and we received their personal contact information at check in. We enjoyed great meals and had fun in the surrounding neighborhood which was very charming. We could not get the Wi-Fi to connect unless you were right by the box. Great location with historical sites nearby and cute place but very loud with partying and bottles/trash pickup every night. My dad, brother, and sister in law did not get much sleep being in the front rooms.

We had an incredibly pleasant stay at Navona Rooms and would highly recommend it to other guests. The owners were exceptionally accommodating throughout our trip, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of. Towards the end of our stay, I accidentally left my passport in one of the lockers. The owners went above and beyond to assist me in this stressful situation, and I am deeply grateful for their help. Their kindness and dedication made all the difference.

The staff were wonderful, Marlon took time to get us familiar with the area and was helpful carrying our bags up to the rooms. The room was well air conditioned and we appreciated the water and coffee left for us. The rooms are located in a very convenient area of Rome. You can walk to everything or take the bus.

This place is in a great location, walking distance to everything we waned to see. The manager Marlon was great! He helped us with our luggage up three floors of spiral staircase. He got us situated and gave us his number if we needed anything. He was very helpful with attending to our need for an extra night and for securing a taxi for airport. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There was a nice hot tub for soaking after miles of walking. Room had a Neapresso maker, water and light snacks.

Location is right on Piazza Pasquino am is the absolute best in Rome being central to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Forum, Colosseum and a short walk to the Pantheon. Restaurants steps from the door with a vibrant night life… Marlon was an our attendant and was informed, friendly and absolutely supportive of every request, need, and assistance. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend for friends looking for all the above on a budget experience…

The owners were lovely. Alessandro and Marlon are top blokes. Marlon was so helpful. Anything we needed was no trouble, and if there were any issues, it was addressed pronto. Free Breakfast only consists of drink and croissant. Beware of the stairs. Three flights, quite narrow and steep. However Marlon will not only help you with your luggage when you arrive, but when you leave too

This place is in the middle of everything! You literally walk out the door and have shops and restaurants. We stayed on our honeymoon and had many romantic dinners steps from the guesthouse. Public transportation is close, but none of the main attractions are more than a 30 minute walk. The Pantheon is a 10 minute walk away. The manager is as friendly as can be and accommodated us to no end. The day we left he let us store our luggage and worked with us to make our stay amazing.

Salvatore and his team went above and beyond expectations. Helping us to locate the hotel and more importantly helping us to access the 3rd floor with our son. Our 18 yr old son is temporarily in a wheelchair due to an accident and I failed to check elevator status. Sal offered to be Tyler’s elevator and carried him up 3 flights on his back. Many thanks for making us feel at home and cared for!

LOCATION!!! StarHome Novana is located, as the name suggests, STEPS from Piazza Novana. But better than that, it’s SO CENTRAL. It’s a €15 can ride to and from Roma Termini and only takes 20 minutes (and only because of traffic…because Rome). Even more betterer than that, YOU CAN WALK EVERYWHERE FROM HERE with a maximum time of 30 minutes. Colosseum/Roman Forum: 25 minutes Trevi fountain: 11 minutes Pantheon: 6 minutes Vatican: 30 minutes Should I keep going? Ok, I will. Jewish Ghetto: 15 minutes Spanish Steps: 15 minutes Piazza Novana: NONE minutes And that’s walking. Cabs in Rome are not expensive, so take a stinkin’ cab if you have to. Okay, next item in the “location” category is how freaking cool getting up to the room is. You will basically feel like you’re better than everyone else, because there is an unassuming green door basically inside the outdoor seating area of a restaurant, and that is your door. You get to smirk at the lowly peasants in the street as you open your special door and enter a long hallway lit with contemporary sconces which lead you to a marble spiral staircase. You’re basically Robert Langdon from “The Da’Vinci Code” at this point. While I do admit that the stairs are exhausting, it is worth the climb to the 3rd floor and the entrance to the hotel. Great location. Hard to find initially so if you book get clear directions. Our first time in Rome and we were so lost. But location is great if your ok With a little noise but we loved that as you walk right out and your in the heart of everything.

I knew when booking this hotel didn't have an elevator but dang walking up to the 3rd floor multiple times a day on steep steps from the 1400's really had us winded after walking around the city each day. There's a staff member that carries your suitcases up & down the staircase. We felt bad about it because we had 2 massive suitcases for our 2 week Eurotrip - he was greatly appreciated! The room itself was clean & housekeeping did a great job each day. We had a little terrace that was nice, AC worked well but housekeeping shut it off every morning :(. The room has a small tv with the owners Netflix which was really nice to decompress with a little tv before bed after being out for 14 hours. I don't recommend paying for breakfast as an add on unless it's super cheap. Breakfast is at a restaurant just up the road 1-2 minuetes & is 1 cappuccino, 1 juice, and 1 croissant per person which is an Italian staple. We ended up doing that since we paid for it but also split a sandwich to stay full until lunch time. The location is great! You're one street over from Piazza Navona with a few other places in walkable distance. There was a bus stop near by as well. We mostly travelled by taxi towards the end of our trip and got to most attractions within 10 minutes or less. Overall cute hotel but wouldn't stay again because we really hated the stairs lol. We also were confusing by the name "Navona Rooms" - we thought all the rooms came with a jaccuzi but ours didn't. Oh well!

Everything good, except jets on jacuzzi tub were not functioning correctly. With jets totally covered with water- water was shooting out of tub all over bathroom. Shower in that same tub also malfunctioning. The only other thing, there are no dishes in kitchen. It’s fully stocked for cooking- but no plates or cups. Otherwise- location is perfect

From start to finish, this property exceeded my expectations. We were warmly greeted. The AC was great and the breakfast was perfect for a happy morning. I would easily stay here again!

Property was not located where Orbitz indicated, and the note about the different location was buried in the small print. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but was not because of the location change. Staff were difficult to deal with and off site, any issue was "not my fault." Water in the bathroom was leaking slowly. Electrical outlets were not all working. The place was a 10 rating on Orbitz, and did not live up to this at all.

Extremely noisy outside till 3am no jacuzzi in room and no breakfast was included. Would not recommend place except for walking location

Hotel room was clean, cozy and quiet and in excellent condition. Salvatore was a great, helpful and very polite host and he also helped us to get transportation to the airport. The staircase to the hotel was steep and narrow, but the staff carried our luggage both ways, up and down. Breakfast place was nice and breakfast included coffee, orangejuice and croissant. You could also buy some omelett or sandwich to complete the breakfast. Location was excellent. It was easy to walk to Trastevere, Pantheon and other places from the hotel and it took about 40 minutes from hotel to get to the airport by taxi. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the Farnese Annex and it was a perfect location just round the corner from Campo de fiori and straight across the bridge from Trastevere. We could walk to all the historic sites with ease. Salvatore and his wife met us and walked us to the apartment. They were so kind and friendly. Having a kitchenette made it very homey, the hot tub was perfect for soothing exhausted legs, and the bed was super comfy. They also had Netflix, if that's your thing. We could also leave our cases after check out as we had a late flight. I'm definitely staying in the Annex apartment next time I'm back in Rome.

The owners were lovely. Alessandro and Marlon are top blokes. Marlon was so helpful. Anything we needed was no trouble, and if there were any issues, it was addressed pronto. Free Breakfast only consists of drink and croissant. Beware of the stairs. Three flights, quite narrow and steep. However Marlon will not only help you with your luggage when you arrive, but when you leave too

Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and provided suggestions. Location was brillant and we walked everywhere. Breakfast was provided at a cafe across the road and consisted of a coffee and crossiant (when we asked for water we were charged). Your site made no reference to the narrow and steep spiral staircase- this is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Hotel called Navona with hot tubs so disappointed that there was wasnt one to use

Only positive to the stay was the location and the air conditioner. Listing was sold as a ‘Hotel’. It is not a hotel but more of a one floor apartment converted to 3 separate rooms. Walls are extremely thin as you can hear perfect conversations with neighbour, shower had mold all inside the shower and the hair dryer only works for a maximum of 30 seconds before shutting off. Would recommend looking elsewhere in the city for something in this price range

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The host was wonderful. Before arriving the hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport which went smoothly. We were given recommendations for dinner at Virginiae for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! There were a few snacks in the room and a knife for the spreads would have been helpful. Our 2 “complaints” are more like things to know: the lighting is not the best for getting ready. It is really a result of the building being old. And…the stairs. We knew there were stairs. They are rough at the end of the day! If you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. However staff helped us up and down with luggage which was greatly appreciated. The location was fantastic.

The host was very kind, room was clean. The view is non existent. The stairs to get up to the 3rd floor with luggage are a nightmare. The jacuzzi looked nasty. The towels were brown and the apartment smelled like cigarettes. The WiFi hardly worked and would cut in and out every 5 minutes. The shower water never got warm.

Stayed for 3 nights. Great location for walking to local attractions, restaurants and the staff is friendly. The room was very clean, including the bedsheets. Just keep in mind that check-in is on the 3rd floor up a very narrow spiral staircase with not enough space for big luggage.
