Meranova Guest Inn

We did a remote check in so we, initially, had some difficulty locating our room. We spoke to the owner over the phone who quickly helped us locate our room. The room (suite) was clean and well appointed but, unfortunately the first thing you see walking into the room is a heavily stained/soiled sofa (looked like one too many frat parties). This unfortunately made you wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of room (bedding, towels, etc.) Fortunately these were clean. The other issue was the air condition which was quite noisy, difficult to control and left the room quite damp (despite two dehumidifiers). Lastly were the huge, overstuffed foam pillow which were impossible to sleep on. We wound up bunching up our complimentary bath robes to use as pillows. These are relatively minor issues and easily fixed but made sleeping difficult. We checked out (left... there was no checkout) early on the second day. As nice as the venue was, and certainly convenient to town, for the price I don't think we will return.

Room was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Decorated very nice and the grounds were landscaped beautifully. Very walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops also a block from the pinellas trail. A very short drive to additional restaurants and Honeymoon Island or Clearwater. Most comfortable bed i have ever slept on. Would definitely stay here again if I return to this area.
