The stay was nice and quiet, and the room was clean. The only bad thing was the bed needs to be updated and the shower needs some work. Parking is small for now due to construction.

THE PROPERTY IS CLEAN AND ACCESSIBLE. WE WOULD HAVE HAD A LOVELY VIEW BUT THE POOL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. STILL, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY.

The hotel was so clean and it had a nice pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again in the future!

I know they were under construction so to be fair the messy was due mostly to that. But we were disappointed: reception area is just awful, looks like a cave, ugly colors , NO hospitality, staff is behind 2 big computer screens & not at all visible , bed very soft & mushy, furniture cheap & wobbly. Mary was kind & helpful but could not do anything about to non working tv in bedroom.

The property pictures online were misleading. We drove 7 hours during the night to get there so we could spend the day on the beach before check-in at 3pm. There was limited parking unless we wanted to pay 200 per day to be in the same lot as the hotel. It was dirty. We spoke to someone who was staying there and they told us the bellman’s cart is a SHOPPING CART. No waaaay! So… we checked it out and sure enough it was. The guy said they had a metal one but the cart was better option. We took picture of it for proof. There was no way to easily get onto the beach like the online pics and description. You had to go down a steep flight of wooden steps. We could not haul all of our gear up and down the stairs and go up and down every time we wanted to go use the restroom. We are in our 50’s and went to relax, not stress. If we were to stay we would have had to set up farther down because there is no swimming allowed directly in front of hotel (because of beach regulations and it being located beside the pier). I have NEVER been to a beach that you can’t swim near the pier. Whole place and area looked unsafe and run down. My husband has hypertension and he could tell his blood pressure was going up from the stress of it all. So we took pictures of the place and decided that we were definitely not going to be able to stay there and relax. We never even checked in and we left. It was a big red flag when we went into the lobby and it was dimly lit.

No access to the beach. Even the the resort is in the beach . Only communication was automatic emails. Not a bad place if your going with a few friends.Not the the ideal place to take my family. Daytona is getting pretty run down as well. Coco beach is were its at.

Had a gard timd4 getting into building. Key didn't work well. Wasn't notified about pool until we were on the road. Bed was really small.

I wait 30 minutes to someone to set up my reservation I arrive around 9;30 pm tire and my reservation is not ready in the mail box is unacceptable.. then no Pool really i came for vacation and i have bad experience at this place .

Awesome view of the beach and pier. Room was very clean. Well stocked with dishes, towels and linens. The bed and pull out couch was not the greatest but the value for what we paid was awesome

Sunglow 1001 was a wonder stay with beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the balcony. Wind was blowing pretty hard east, so some beautiful surf and surfing to watch. Very clean and well appointed condo. Off season meant great prices and I even had the whole top floor to myself. In 5 days, I think I only shared an elevator once. Big enough complex to be very nice, small enough to be cozy.
Sunglow 1001 was a wonder stay with beautiful sunrise and sunset views from the balcony. Wind was blowing pretty hard east, so some beautiful surf and surfing to watch. Very clean and well appointed condo. Off season meant great prices and I even had the whole top floor to myself. In 5 days, I think I only shared an elevator once. Big enough complex to be very nice, small enough to be cozy.

This place is a trap dump stay away AT ALL COST! Look nice and safe on the web however, once we arrived we right away notice the place was not well represented by the pictures of Sunglow on Expedia. No security at all, they still use real old Dirty Keys. As you walk in the room immediately as the first thing you see is a dirty and EXTREMELY SMELLY ( Toxic smelling ) room, they have fumigation posts all over the Sunglow stating the place is fumigated ( as a warning id imagine ) the fridge door had dirt and grime all over it ( Very appetizing ), mould and dust throughout the vents, no bathroom fan only a great big dusty hole in the bathroom ceiling..The list goes on and on. As a token of appreciation their guests, they do offer free opened and used bottles of condiments in the cupboards used and abused by whomever was last trapped in this place. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! Expect a steep unjustified cleaning fee tacked on top of whatever one nightly fee absolutely 100% ridiculous. Front desk closes at 5 pm and opens at 9 am so you cant contact anyone all night. Anyone can roam the building and property as they wish. The door in our room looked like it had been kicked in. What a nightmare of a place. So many nice places around the area, just stay away from this Sunglow resort at all cost. Charged us WAY TO MUCH for one night and lets not forget the steep cleaning fee. Have a look at a few pictures i posted of this place, absolutely horrendous. Looks like a 4 star but is a 1 at best

The room can be updated a little more. This room had too many things wrong, such as the fridge leaking and the chairs broken. Other than that, it was okay. The beds were not comfortable. The sofa bed was the most comfortable

The unit was easy to find and no problems parking. The room has a great layout and decorated beautifully. Awesome view. However, the floor a/c unit needs some help. The arm does not stay in the window and the wind made it whistle - loudly! Also, there is a large air return vent in the hallway that is very rusted. It took away from the beautiful decor and it is such a quick, easy fix. But, that view from the 9th floor was just amazing!!

I didn't realize I booked on the 10th floor. The view was amazing! We were also honored with a full red moon which was stunnind lighting the ocean surface. Crabby Joes was excellent food just a next door. Our hosts were great and the lobby people too. Love, love, love this place!

As you walk in the room immediately as the first thing you see is a dirty and EXTREMELY SMELLY ( Toxic smelling ) room, they have fumigation posts all over the Sunglow stating the place is fumigated ( as a warning id imagine ) the fridge door had dirt and grime all over it ( Very appetizing ), mould and dust throughout the vents, no bathroom fan only a great big dusty hole in the bathroom ceiling..The list goes on and on. As a token of appreciation their guests, they do offer free opened and used bottles of condiments in the cupboards used and abused by whomever was last trapped in this place. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! Expect a steep unjustified cleaning fee tacked on top of whatever one nightly fee absolutely 100% ridiculous. Front desk closes at 5 pm and opens at 9 am so you cant contact anyone all night. Anyone can roam the building and property as they wish. The door in our room looked like it had been kicked in. What a nightmare of a place. So many nice places around the area, just stay away from this Sunglow resort at all cost. Charged us WAY TO MUCH for one night and lets not forget the steep cleaning fee. Have a look at a few pictures i posted of this place, absolutely horrendous. Looks like a 4 star but is a 1 at best

I wait 30 minutes to someone to set up my reservation I arrive around 9;30 pm tire and my reservation is not ready in the mail box is unacceptable.. then no Pool really i came for vacation and i have bad experience at this place .

I didn't realize I booked on the 10th floor. The view was amazing! We were also honored with a full red moon which was stunnind lighting the ocean surface. Crabby Joes was excellent food just a next door. Our hosts were great and the lobby people too. Love, love, love this place!

Overall, our stay was great! We loved the beach access and the restaurant next door. It was a pretty quiet area but not too far from plenty of things to explore. No access to the beach. Even the the resort is in the beach . Only communication was automatic emails. Not a bad place if your going with a few friends.Not the the ideal place to take my family. Daytona is getting pretty run down as well. Coco beach is were its at.

Had great view, and resort was in a great location. But room was dated, smaller than what the photos showed of it. RESORT hot tub was shut down by the health dept..

Everything great. Excellent location right on the beach. Clean and well stocked room. Clean renovated lobby. Friendly staff. Only negative was the bed was too soft for older people or anyone with back issues. For two people practically non sleepable.

Clean and comfortable condo , directly on the beach with a couple beach chairs in closet for our use . Pool was very nice and some took advantage of late night swims . Plenty of soaps , towels , and even coffee . Only disadvantage was no extra pillows , sheets or blanket for sofa bed , so might want to plan ahead with management . Would stay again.

Place was decent. Was clean, but the unit is worn a bit. Has a strong damp musty smell. Can tell they have a moisture issue. Closets could be cleaned and organized a bit. Ground level unit, could use some type of light curtain on the sliding doors as people on the pool can look right in. So you either have to deal with that or close the heavy curtain and block out the sunlight. Friendly check in and friendly hosts though.

We stay here every year and really like this location. I did ask the host for a new hair dryer as the two in the condo were both broken but it was never delivered as arranged. Overall not a big deal. The units are well stocked and maintained and we will be returning,
