Staff was wonderful. Physical building is terrible. Wallpaper peeling off wall in lobby and room. Carpet stained and dirty. Refrig not plugged in or working. Couch dirty and stained. Pictures removed with holes still in wall. Grab bars falling off wall in shower. Basically disgusting

It has been approxiamately 10 years since I lst stayed at a Choice Hotel. They used to be top of the line , no more. Buildings needs an upgrade. Facia board in the lobby was loose and in need of repair. Sofia sleeper in room initially assigned to us was broken. Swimming pool had a broken piper and was out of order, was to be operational in a couple of hours ended up being the nextd day. Requested room be made up between nigth one and night two - did not happen. Had to retrieve our own tp, kleenex, towles, coffee, gather trash. Breakfast was okay but low on coffee, buscits, milk, etc. Had to request more. Will be a long time before I stay at another Choice Hotels property.

Nice enough hotel for the price. Right next to a ton of restaurants and shopping options. Pool wasn't open, and my room keys continually became unprogrammed and needed to be redone (I made sure to keep them away from credit cards and my cellphone, but it didn't make a difference.)

Showed head was falling out of the wall. Toilet bolts were missing on one side. Sauna did not work. Half of the lights in the pool room did not work. Seems they need to find a new repair man or the owner needs to stick some money into the place for repairs.

Check in was easy. I go to the room changed clothes and head to the gym, bike is out of order. So, I decided to go to Sauna, Sauna does not work. Lets try the pool, water is to cold. Head back to my room to shower to find out there were no towels. Additionally, the only ice maker that work was on the 1st floor. Best thing was the lady who works during breakfast, she is full of energy and very friendly.

Old and dirty. Deadbolt on room door was broken. Looked like door had been previously kicked in. Toilet paper had a few squares left on the roll when we got there. Cleaning streaks on mirror showed not entire mirror was cleaned. Parking lot had several lights out and was super dark and creepy. Only good thing was the breakfast was decent.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and I have enjoyed it so far. Rooms have been clean and staff was friendly and helpful. It has been relatively quiet both times which is what I need after being on the road for over 12 hours.

Our room was not clean at all. The couch was all stained and had leftover food in it from the previous people. The office chair was so old it was flaking off material. Our bedding had multiple stains on all. So stains looked like blood... it was very uncomfortable. We were itchy the entire stay.

the basic room, location, breakfast and service was fine for just a 2 night stay. The sofa bed was not fine. They need an upgrade for sure: 1/2 in matress with holes/tears etc. and the frame was caved in so the bottom half of your body was tilted to the ground. Freezer in the fridge has not been defrosted in quite some time.

Entered the lobby and immediately starting sweating—temperature on the thermostat said 80 degrees (no mention of “sorry for the inconvenience “ from any worker (we had to wait for lobby clerk). —Had to ask for towels and bedding for pull out couch. —No sink soap, so had to ask for that. —Thermostat didn’t work in the room; it stayed a moist 70 degrees. —Carpet is from early 90’s? —Stains on the walls in the room, desk chair, and couch (way more than normal)

Receptionist was direct, to us a little rude, was not her intent. Hotel needed repairs, attempts were made in bathroom by heavy, poor caulking. Pool was closed, like every Indian family run Choice hotel we have stayed in, the pools are typically locked with a padlock, no apparent attempt to repair them. A shame these hotels are being left to deteriorate. We will stay at non Choice hotels.

I arrived at the Comfort Suites in Northwest Topeka, KS very tired and in need of some serious rest! In spite of the fact that the motel was fully booked and the room assignments were giving him fits, the front desk clerk was so pleasant and friendly that I felt like I was walking into my Mom's house!

Great staff. Great breakfasts. Sofa and chair old, stained and needs replacing. Shower powerful, needs adjusting. Good location for access to highways and where we had to go.

The lady who checked us in was very nice! When we got to our room it was very clean there was a plastc bag wrapped around the smoke detector that was creepy! When i went down for breakfeast the next morning there was 2 hours till breakfeast was over and there was no food the eggs were gone 1 biscuit left no gravy one sausage

This hotel like so many others serms shorthanded. The same font desk clerks are there from early morning til late at night. Breakfast room needs a new refrigerator. You must adk for milk, yogurt, eggs etc to be brought to you. Breakfast Lady is a delight. Shes friendly, smiling and helpful.

Old and dirty. Deadbolt on room door was broken. Looked like door had been previously kicked in. Toilet paper had a few squares left on the roll when we got there. Cleaning streaks on mirror showed not entire mirror was cleaned. Parking lot had several lights out and was super dark and creepy. Only good thing was the breakfast was decent.

The woman assisting guests during breakfast was phenomenal! She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful. She was definitely a highlight of our stay! Unfortunately, there were a few concerns that made us feel uneasy. Shortly after checking into our room, the fire alarm system went off. There was no announcement or communication to guests explaining what was happening. We were later told that the system had been experiencing ongoing issues, which made us a little anxious about the safety of our stay. We also noticed some concerning activity in the parking lot. Two men were openly smoking marijuana, while another individual appeared to be passed out in his vehicle, which wasn’t even properly parked in a parking space. That individual and vehicle were still there the following morning when we checked out. Additionally, another man, who appeared to be acquainted with an employee, was performing vehicle maintenance near the main entrance. Aside from these concerns, our stay itself was pleasant. We were only there for one evening, and the room served its purpose. However, the lack of communication regarding the fire alarm and the questionable activity around the property certainly took away from what otherwise could have been a great experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, as guest safety, security, and peace of mind should always be a priority.
