No staff on site and restaurant was not open. Initial access was difficult. Room itself was very nice. The surrounding area was awesome with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Car had to be parked pretty far away as the area is only open to foot traffic.

Beautiful hotel right in the old town, steps from the castle, beach, restaurant was delicious too!! The couple and their son run the hotel and restaurant and they are warm, helpful and work so hard to keep it clean! They speak English and do everything to accommodate you! The price was so reasonable and the restaurant was excellent as well. I felt so safe and cared for as a single female traveler. Everything was right at my front door. Spotless and I loved the balcony!! I will return!

Le propriétaire est très sympatique et bienveillant, très à l'écoute (et il parle bien français !) Chambre très propre, l'hotel est typique on a adoré, et en plus très bien situé. On reviendra si on en a l'occasion. Etant venus entre Noël et le jour de l'an pas de restauration c'est juste un peu dommage pour nous. Nous recommandons vraiment cette pension.

Prachtige plek midden in het stadje. Alles was netjes schoon en behulpzame eigenaar. Enige minpunt was het lawaai van de kerktoren die er bijna tegenaan staat. Klokken slaan tot midernacht elk kwartier en alles dubbel. Smorgens om 8 uur begint het dan weer. Voor de rest een aanrader.

We had a nice stay in Peniscola a this hotel. A few things. This hotel is in the restricted peninsula where you cannot reach by car. You’ll need to pay park outside of the area carry your bags up many cobblestone roads and stairs. It’s a haul. The rooms are basic, clean and functional. You do get a fair amount of noise from the street and the bar/restaurant downstairs. Also, be aware that the bell tower is very close, very active, and very loud. The owner was very nice and very helpful.

This property was in a quiet part of the old town with the room overlooking the cobbled streets. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The little shutters opened out to a small balcony which was very quaint. We stayed for 1 night on our way down the coast but wished we could have had longer to explore the town and beach area.

The owner met us on arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the apartment. It was comfortable and roomy for our family of four. We had hoped to try the restaurant downstairs, but it was closed the night we stayed. Very charming location in the old town.
