Motel 6-Oklahoma City, OK - South

Front door to motel was unable to close, doors to rooms didn’t fully seat themselves, deadbolt was hanging on with 2/4 screws and was installed incorrectly, the bathroom fan was hanging OFF THE CEILING like an opened vent, etc. There was also a spider in the bed but I doubt that’s their fault. Lots of homeless sleeping in the parking lot and coming into the building which led to us feeling pretty unsafe and worried about our car, BUT: at the end of the day, if you can ignore all of that, you’re still able to get a nights rest when needed.

The key worked the first time I used it but would not work again after that, even after the office reprogrammed it 2 different times after check in.

Well the smell in the main hall is a mixture of old stale beer and pee, sheets had holes in them, light switches made you want to question should I turn them on and see if I get electrocuted, hard time finding parking place people would park there cars in the parking lot and sleep in them. The list goes on

It was the worst Motel 6 I ever stayed. There are no elevators. It was a pain to carry ALL of our luggage upstairs. The bathroom had graffiti writing in there. The room was very outdated. The bed had cigarette burns even though it wasn't a smoking room. The only thing good I must say were the employees who did try to accommodate me. Unfortunately it was just not a place for me and my daughter. Buyers beware.

First, the staff was very friendly, no issues there. The property itself is terribly set up. The only door you can use is the main lobby entrance (which reeked of cigarette smoke). The other 3 doors of the hotel are alarmed fire exits only, with no access whatsoever from the outside. Which makes the parking lot on the one side of the hotel pretty much unusable. Or at least, incredibly inconvenient to park and have to walk all the way around the building to enter. And that leaves only 6 parking spaces for this hotel that are not handicap on the same side of the building as the main lobby access. Pretty ridiculous for a 70 room hotel! There is another hotel sharing part of the parking lot and has signs clearly marked that Motel 6 guests are not allowed to use. The cleanliness was, ok, not the worst, but definitely needs attention to the touch surfaces (light switches, night stand and table tops). The bed was not comfortable, the edges of the king size bed rolled downward, making you work to stay on the bed. It's not that we got no sleep, though, but it's definitely worn enough to affect a good night's rest. Also, the walls/doors are pretty thin, and you can hear quite a bit of noise from other guests. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

I arrived at Property: -They did not ask for ID or a card for incidental purposes. -No elevator -There are vagrants EVERYWHERE. Had issues getting dog to use bathroom due to vagrants in the bushes. -Room filthy(hair in sink floor not swept looks like rice left on floor near head of bed. -Burn holes in bedspread -Big gap at bottom of door, can see people walking by. -Trails of old yellow fluid(Nicotine?) running down walls. -Dog uneasy entire time. -Bed frame was folding frame like you can order off amazon, old coil spring mattress on frame with no box spring-Extremely uncomfortable. -About 1 am I decided I couldn't stay there. Grabbed dog, went to check out, there are Vagrants sleeping in hallway, and numerous people moving around outside. -Vagrants sleeping on floor of laundry room -Garbage all over property. -Wound up taking puppy to gas station for bathroom as I was worried about possible needles in the garbage on the ground. -There is a CONSTANT stream of cars coming and going thru this parking lot at 1 am! This was possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I left and just drove thru the night to get to my next destination.

The bed was comfortable The only problem I have is their emergency door was not working or closing and they had homeless people sleeping on their stairs on the inside

The handicap shower had very low water pressure and was dirty.

There was food still in the microwave from the previous people and it was the type of room I booked and paid for in advance

Blood on the walls of the hotel room, call for a good time numbers written on the walls of the hotel room, room disgusting, hookers on the side the building, people smoking weed in front of the entrance. This is not a safe hotel, Expedia does not vet any of these hotels. Stay away from this Motel 6 and stay away from Expedia

There were baby roaches in the bathroom and I didn’t have a shower curtain

I didn’t have a shower curtain, the blankets were dirty and had other peoples hair all over it, and ,No towels.

I understand that, when you book the cheapest hotel in town, you can't expect fancy amenities like hair dryers, shampoo, etc. and that's okay. I did, however, expect the room to be clean. The stench in my non-smoking room was almost unbearable (an almost indescribable smoky/musky/moldy smell), the floors were sticky, and the bathroom door was sticky and had hair stuck to it. The staff was amazing and the location was conveniently located right next to the highway, so they get credit for that. However, I was pretty grossed out and I'm very unlikely to stay there again.

It was good for the price just didn’t like I got a room with no windows and could hear the doors outside bang open and closed all night

The bed was worn and needed replaced. There was a big indention I had to sleep in and you could feel the bed springs. The shower head only half worked

It was ok. Except for the constant dogs barking on the second floor. Which I was on.

There was no hot water for my shower and the other people there kept playing loud music all night

28 degrees outside and the heating window unit didn’t turn on tried several times

I finally got a room with an actual nice soft mattress instead of the thin ones you can fill the lumps in.

Room included microwave and refrigerator unlike many lower priced motels which now only provide sleeping facilities only, especially since continental breakfasts have been discontinued.

The remote and cable for thetvwas gone. They tried to fix it but couldn't.

There was a few disrespectful guests being really loud as they walked the halls without a care or concern of waking anyone up at around 4am. Internet was a bit slow but never disconnected during my overnight stay. One electrical plug that the microwave was plugged into did not work so had to move the microwave to a closer working plug. 2 lights on the same wall and area as the bad outlet also did not work. All little stuff to me that wasn’t hard to figure out an alternative to. That being said I never notified staff about the faulty stuff. Meant to let them know when leaving and honestly just forgot to till writing this review now lol. The one staff lady who helped me check in and out was very pleasant, very courteous, and was the nicest staff I’ve ever dealt with anywhere. I enjoyed my overnight stay and will use them again if needed.

Rude front desk

Had a good overnight stay there. I’m not a people person at all, but the little black lady at the desk is always so welcoming and helpful the multiple times I’ve stayed there. Just her positive attitude and warm persona I don’t know what she gets paid but it isn’t enough. I always hope to get her when I check in n out everytime I stay there.

The air conditioner in the room they placed me in does not work whatsoever like the thing is totally disassembled by some crack head more than likely and the guy at the desk would not give me a different room so it was hot and miserable the entire evening

The lady night manager was very sweet and helpful

The front desk staff was amazing.

It was very nice. Until the end when I had to wait on a ride. My husband has to go get the money and the front desk person was very rude and called security or cops and made me and my puppy wait outside. So I recommend if u don't have a way home after your stay don't come here. Because they are very rude and don't care.

I tried to check in at 3am when I pulled into the facility and was told I could not. The attendant at the desk wasnt able to tell me if I would get a refund for the night since I was denied the room. He told me to call in the morning after 7am and when asked for a card to get a phone number he was unable to find anything with this Motel 6’s phone number. I can’t speak on anything else about the motel 6 but I can say i am very upset that as a late night traveler who had the forethought to book a room before midnight, i was denied the service i paid for and was forced back onto the road tired

now we Have stayed here A numerous of times and WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY AND OUT OF CONDUCT. 1ST WE GET HERE THE ROOM WE WERE GIVIN WAS FILTY& 1 BED WASNT MADE PROPERLY BUT WE OVER LOOKED IT AND CLEANED OURSELFS THEN .. THE MIRCOWAVE AND THE FRIDGE WAS FILTHY .. SO WE LEFT IT .. THE HOUSEKEEPER COMES BY AND ..DOESNT EVEN COME N ASK US IF WE NEEDED CLEAN TOWELS OR ETC. SO I HAVE TO TAKE MY TOWELS TO THE OFFICE FOR THEM 2 GIVE ME BCK 1 SET OF TOWELS FOR ONLY 1 PERSON ..THEN THEY CALL US AT 8AM TELLING US WE HAVE 2 CHECK OUT BCUZ THERE IS MAINTENCE COMING FOR THIS ROOM THEY DONT EVEN ASK IF WERE STAYIN OVER OR IF WE WANT ANOTHER ROOM WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN BCUZ THEY HAVE NO RESPECT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS PERIOD.

It’s really convenient for me cuz it’s near my daughters and it’s right off the interstate.

Even if you lock your car they get in some one tried prying my car door open. The property was not clean.

Quite a few homeless walking around when i checked in. Other than that its a typical Motel 6 right next to a Jack in the box. So thats nice.

TERRIBLE POLICE EVERY WHERE VERY DANGEROUS VERY VERY VERY UNCLEAN

Felt unsafe. Questionable characters on street wandering during night. Was worried about my car. Hotel is in major need of refurbishment with several areas filled in with caulk in a messy manner. Smells old and dirty. I had prepaid and booked online with no reimbursement allowed or I would have not stayed there.

It was good because of the convenience.

It’s convenient right by the highway. Although does seem to be a lot of homeless people in the area.
