OYO Hotel Oklahoma City South I-35 and SE 29th

The bed was comfortable and the heat worked well. A chair in the room looked terrible, the door to the room was difficult to latch becausde it drug on the bottom. No smoke detector, paint on bathroom door was in poor condition, but that was minor. Ice machine didn't work and hadn't for a long time by the looks of it. Water was hot and pressure was good on Friday morning when hardly any people were there, Saturday morning when the motel was full the pressure was poor and water lukewarm.

This is an older property that has not been maintained. The room was dirty (trash from previous traveler, food in the mini fridge), sheets had cigarette burns on them, no blankets just sheets (three flat sheets were used instead of a blanket to make the bad). No tissues or toilet paper were in the room (got a roll from the front desk, looked like it has gotten wet and then dried). No soap either! No ice bucket. There are other motels in the area that I will choose from next time.

Well the room was blazing hot when you walked inn overall just really in bad shap the pool waa green from lack of cleaning not sure why you need to pay a deposit for the night.

Mold on the walls, dirty, metal and nails sticking out of the walls. Unsafe for people to stay. HORRIBLE!! Nothing like the pictures at all.

I was too tired to take pictures but I seen roaches in the tub the sheets was dingy looking overall the hotel need to update their rooms look under the sheets the mattress has stains on like they they found them on the side of the road I will not be staying at this hotel again I think they're false advertisement that photo on hotels.com

A giant bug on the lampshade, hairs in the beds, holes in the wall… I don’t often leave reviews, but feel like I need to with this one. Never stay here if you want to feel safe and want a clean room. I left as soon as I saw the condition of my room. The place deserves to be be shut down. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very dirty, room number was taped on the door, unsafe conditions around with very minimal lighting. Deciding it was only to sleep for a few hours I looked past all prior instances until within two minutes two live cockroaches crawls across the table.

Place looked good and clean online, but in real life, when we went it wasn’t like the pictures, not very clean and did not provide enough towels and I’m still waiting on my deposit I’m supposed to get back !

No remote for the room, over an hour spent trying to get into a room because the door wouldn’t open, the room was over 100 degrees and the room was dirty very dirty, fridge was nasty, and pillowcases was stained yellow

Our room was infested with roaches. It would have been different if we saw one or two, but every every time we went to the sink to wash our hands there would be five or six. We went into the bathroom and there were several running along the walls. We looked up and there were a couple on the ceiling. It was disgusting!

This was the dirtiest nastiest room I've ever seen.

Not clean. Hotel looked shut down. Paint peeling. Area looks very sketchy.

What can I say? It was a room, with a bed, couch, and shower. Upon walking into the room I was pleasantly surprised that the room didn’t look terrible. However, with further inspection I noticed hair from other guests on all of the pillows but one, awkward smelling stains on the sheets, cigarette burns on the comforter, peeling paint on the walls and ceiling, what looked to be black mold ring around the shower, a dingy carpet, and a heater that ran all night long to barely get the room warm enough to take my hoody off in the morning. For the price I paid I can’t completely complain. But, I wish I had paid the ten dollars more to stay at the Motel 6 nearby. On the plus side the shower pressure was amazing!

The property itself was basic. Sketchy neighborhood, but restaurants, and a gas station close by. Could use to be updated, in order to justify the price. Our bathroom was clean, towels were clean, bad the sheets were clean but had rust stains. The furniture was stained, and the carpet needed vacuumed and deep cleaned. Window sills need cleaned badly. We just needed a place to sleep because of the storm, and it sufficed for that. It was rated a 3 star, but I'd put it at a 2 star. The price was acceptable for a 3 star, but I would have expected it to be cleaner and homier, with better amenities. It was overpriced for the what we had. $35-$45 would have been more fair. The people next door were loud until about 1 am, then at 4:31 am I had two girls knock my door at the wrong room, but when the guys next door didn't answer they were yelling that they were mad they drove all that way to *obscenity*, and now the guys won't answer. They then said and everyone was getting kicked out. They started honking their horn and yelling at the other room. We just ignored them and stayed inside the room, but I was concerned what they might do next. They left but laid on the horn after they left the parking space til they left the parking lot. I let management know at check out and they said they would take care of it. I saw no bugs, and the check-out person was friendly and personable, housekeeping staff should do a much better job though.

I didnt feel comfortable or safe in my hotel room, staff took a long time to get me my room. I thought it was a pre-bought room, I also got a non smoking room. Which smelt like smoke, it looked like there was black mold on the ceilings, the carpet was ripped up, and the trim towards the bathroom wasn’t there. Multiple holes in the walls and ceilings, literally worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The door was sticking and I asked for help. I had to kick the door to open it every time. That was what the man at the front desk showed me to do. The heater was ridiculously loud

The room was adequate for our needs, but not in great condition. The bathroom door was too big for the door frame so wouldn’t close. There was a very bad draft around the room door that made it difficult to keep the room warm enough. Also no blanket for the bed. Only worn sheet and thin bedspread. I also have not received my $100 security deposit back. All I did was sleep then leave.

Electrical switch of the room is not working. toilet seat looked old and damaged. Lights switch of the bathroom will not stay on. Faucet is Wiggly. Hair in the beds!

Keycard not working, no receptionist to fix the problem until 5am on Sunday morning

It took over 30 minutes for them to come to the office and check me in.

I was made to run my card for $100 hold and told it would be back in my account in 3 business days. The next morning it posted and when I called they told me I was supposed to return and run it again

Did not check to see about reservation. Just said if made online they did not have a room available.

This property is a CHEAT! We booked online and arrived at 4:55pm, used my card to check in. Was charged again 2 days later as a “no-show” for $74.89!! I contacted the property even gave them my room number, confirmation from my bank that we were charged for their piece of crap room and he told me it was Expedia’s problem… contacted Expedia and they said it’s the properties problem as they listed us as a no show. Floors were gross, the microwave didn’t even work, the outlets or coming out of the walls and I’m still working on getting my money back! The front desk was super rude when I called to get my “no-show” charge resolved. Should have slept in the car!!

Booked a room , checked in and front desk guy was rude , racist and he gave me a room with no heat no fridge no microwave I asked to be switched he did and the microwave was still not working , stayed 12 nights and had no heat and non working microwave . He didn’t answer my calls either and I NEVER GOT MY 100 deposit !!

Really friendly. Simple and quick checkin. Seemed really quiet.

It was dirty and walking on the premises was what I believe were women of the night. I didn't stay there.

Rooms are not good and surroundings. Door was not proper and worried if someone push it will break. Someone else trying to open the door when our family sleeping last night and my wife got terrified. Bedsheets are dirty and shower water clogging and drowning very slow. Overall not a good experience

I was not able to stay here. Lots of late night activity in parking lot made me feel unsafe about my van/trailer. Upon check in another guest was alerting front desk about a “serious issue” with his room that he did not want to disclose publicly. We got to room, broken light switches, dirty sheets; and distracting smells. I ended up booking another hotel and left. Did not even bother to address front desk about getting refunded. Just needed to be out.
