A hotel with some good facilities but lacks essentials such as water pressure or in both showers (en suite and main) or coffee, even though a coffee machine is provided (but no beans or ground coffee). Gym / Pool does not open until 8:30am and is adults only between 0830 and 0930 which is not ideal if travelling with children. Checkout is at 1000. The hotel is situated down a single tiny lane which is around a mile long. Car damaged on overhanging branches and bushes (scuffs from twigs). Decided to cook at home. There is a freezer with frozen meals (like a cooks freezer) but includes bulk cooked meals which are single portion. Kids Mac and Cheese is ~£10. Would’ve welcomed a cooks style lasagna for family for 4 as no local supermarkets. No breakfast options available. Apartment was not clean, dirty kitchen surfaces and floors. Needs a good deep clean. Dusty and hair in various locations. Shame, this could’ve been great but it’s just rough around the edges.

Really good place we stayed in a log cabin and it had everything we needed, really good shower and kitchen , the only thing was when we pulled the sofa bed out there was someone’s old shorts in there which we binned. Staff were great and showed us where we could go for food and drink as there was nothing on site but they did have lots of food and drink you could buy and also local takeaways that deliver. The pool was great but it was really cold both times we went in, and the second time it was freezing. We also did the mini Golf which was really fun but there was leaf’s on the course making it a little bit harder to play. Over all this was a really good place and good value for money. Would love to come again in the summer when it’s busier !

Overall a very pleasant stay. Being charged £2 for a towel in the pool was not expected and should have been FoC mind you. However the lady working reception in the pool was lovely and delivered an excellent customer experience

Nice cabin with plenty of space which included all the necessary cooking utensils which we required. However we chose this accommodation based on the fact it had a swimming pool, the pool was not opened at all on our whole trip. We later found out that the issues with the pool has began 4 days prior to our arrival, it would have been nice if this has been communicated with us.

Our stay at Wychnor Park Country Club was fantastic. There were some issues with our accommodation but nothing that really ruined our short stay. When we arrived we were greeted by the fantastic staff and then went on to the apartment. Whilst only 2 bed it was huge and easily accommodated the 6 of us. Some minor cleanliness issues but not anything that ruined our trip. Facilities are fantastic and so much to do. The leisure centre was more than enough and suitable for our family, just a shame that it closed early on the Wednesday and couldn’t access it in the morning of our departure. But will definitely be looking to stay again and really enjoy the facilities. Some minor things that could be improved but all in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall it was OK, but I wouldn't recommend it. The property is somewhat old. And the facilities it has aren't really enticing. The gym is tiny and old, and has barely any equipment. The steam room wasn't working properly, and the sauna wasn't very hot. The crazy golf course needs a good clean really. The restaurant was OK/average. The grounds are kind of nice, but imo aren't worth it

We had an excellent experience, we really enjoyed the facilities, gym, sauna , steam room and swimming. We even played football and basketball. The place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come again given the chance.

A lovely setting and great accommodation. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment in the coach house which was much bigger than we expected. Clean and comfortable, very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again.

Very sorry to write this but I have had no response from the hotel since April. There are rats in the walls in the main room (room 6) where we stayed. I offered to send videos of them to evidence this but it looks like they dont care

Location has huge potential- unfortunately service, hospitality and lack of investment lets it down. Lots of flys internally and an acceptance that unfortunately there was little that could be done.

Stayed in the log style cabins. Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Quiet and tranquil with lovely surroundings. I was very impressed with the accommodation and grounds. There is limited parking. We had a dedicated parking spot for our cabin and someone on the 2nd night decided to park their car there for the last few nights of our stay. I asked receiption twice to get it moved and nothing was done. I had to park down the road which was annoying. Also the silicone in both bathrooms was looking a bit tired, but not dirty. But we would definitely stay there again.

I am incredibly disappointed with my stay at Wychnor Park Resort and feel compelled to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, I encountered multiple issues that made my visit frustrating, uncomfortable, and, most upsettingly, emotionally distressing. Overall it was OK, but I wouldn't recommend it. The property is somewhat old. And the facilities it has aren't really enticing. The gym is tiny and old, and has barely any equipment. The steam room wasn't working properly, and the sauna wasn't very hot. The crazy golf course needs a good clean really. The restaurant was OK/average. The grounds are kind of nice, but imo aren't worth it

Wychnor Park Country Club is a beautiful resort located just off the A38. So tranquil and peaceful yet not far from local areas to visit. So clean and well maintained, our apartment which housed 6 people was like a home from home. The leisure facilities were excellent too. Every staff member we encountered couldn't have been more friendly. Special mention to Esme who we met on arrival and was so thorough and polite, she created the perfect first impression. Also Tracy, who was equally friendly and utterly professional when we requested her assistance. As a family, we couldn't be more greatful to them all or speak highly enough of Wychnor Park.

We enjoyed our stay, the pool was lovely and the pool staff were very friendly. The restaurant and bar was fantastic and we really enjoyed our meal there. The only thing we would offer as feedback is how check in is conducted. When we arrived, we were met with frustration that we had not 'read the terms and conditions' as we did not have our ID or a physical card for the damage payment. When I mentioned that we just hadn't seen it, I was told 'well it is there, you're the third person who hasn't read it today'. As this didn't end up being an issue (I was able to use my phone to make the payment and use a photo of my ID) I think it would be better to not make guests feel awkward right as they arrive! I would also say that the terms are not clear on hotels.com, as they are only visible behind a button on the booking page. I was sent an email before arriving with other instructions; if this was so crucial I would recommend putting it in that email also! This did make me feel less welcome than I would have liked. We did have a slight problem with our TV and this was sorted out very promptly.

Very sorry to write this but I have had no response from the hotel since April. There are rats in the walls in the main room (room 6) where we stayed. I offered to send videos of them to evidence this but it looks like they dont care

Excellent accommodation stayed last year and it was just as good. Very friendly and helpful staff and wonderful setting. Won’t hesitate to stay again, the rooms are beautiful with every facility.

A hotel with some good facilities but lacks essentials such as water pressure or in both showers (en suite and main) or coffee, even though a coffee machine is provided (but no beans or ground coffee). Gym / Pool does not open until 8:30am and is adults only between 0830 and 0930 which is not ideal if travelling with children. Checkout is at 1000. The hotel is situated down a single tiny lane which is around a mile long. Car damaged on overhanging branches and bushes (scuffs from twigs). Decided to cook at home. There is a freezer with frozen meals (like a cooks freezer) but includes bulk cooked meals which are single portion. Kids Mac and Cheese is ~£10. Would’ve welcomed a cooks style lasagna for family for 4 as no local supermarkets. No breakfast options available. Apartment was not clean, dirty kitchen surfaces and floors. Needs a good deep clean. Dusty and hair in various locations. Shame, this could’ve been great but it’s just rough around the edges.

This place was absolutely beautiful. I’ve never been to such a nice place. The swimming pool was soo cold but overall we will be back as a family. It is a beautiful location If coming in an uber please be aware it’s difficult to get to. Lodge was super clean

Wow! What an amazing provision this hotel gives its guests. A home away from home feel, plenty of creature comforts, an excellent pool facility, childs playground and crazy golf just as a starter! We stayed for a long weekend and throughly enjoyed it. Yes it is a bit out in the sticks but that’s part of its charm but you’re only 10 minutes drive from pubs and shops if you desire them. A great location to visit sites such as the National Memorial Arboretum, Alton Towers, Twycross Zoo & the Tamworth Snowdome. Highly recommend to families and couples.

Stayed in the log style cabins. Lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Quiet and tranquil with lovely surroundings. I was very impressed with the accommodation and grounds. There is limited parking. We had a dedicated parking spot for our cabin and someone on the 2nd night decided to park their car there for the last few nights of our stay. I asked receiption twice to get it moved and nothing was done. I had to park down the road which was annoying. Also the silicone in both bathrooms was looking a bit tired, but not dirty. But we would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.

The living accommodation is excellent within the grounds. Living apartments can best be described. Uncertain what the lodge accommodation consists of. Everything within the house (equipment wise) you need is provided. Need to be aware there is no bar, team rooms or restaurant. There is a freezer consisting of microwave meals, fish fingers, nuggets etc for children & ice creams. There is an area for dried food items and a fridge for milk, wine and beer. Whilst we had brought most things we had to purchase some items as there is no nearby shop or supermarket once you arrive. There are no signs for the country club, so may be sent in the wrong direction without nav! It would be good to have had a message in advance from the club to avoid this. The facilities are a little tired eg the pitch and put, children’s park. There are tennis courts, table tennis and badminton area to use. The 9 hole 3 par golf course is average, although a lovely area to walk around the outside edge provides a nice walk. Beyond this is woodland and we enjoyed blackberry picking.
The living accommodation is excellent within the grounds. Living apartments can best be described. Uncertain what the lodge accommodation consists of. Everything within the house (equipment wise) you need is provided. Need to be aware there is no bar, team rooms or restaurant. There is a freezer consisting of microwave meals, fish fingers, nuggets etc for children & ice creams. There is an area for dried food items and a fridge for milk, wine and beer. Whilst we had brought most things we had to purchase some items as there is no nearby shop or supermarket once you arrive. There are no signs for the country club, so may be sent in the wrong direction without nav! It would be good to have had a message in advance from the club to avoid this. The facilities are a little tired eg the pitch and put, children’s park. There are tennis courts, table tennis and badminton area to use. The 9 hole 3 par golf course is average, although a lovely area to walk around the outside edge provides a nice walk. Beyond this is woodland and we enjoyed blackberry picking.

Overall it was OK, but I wouldn't recommend it. The property is somewhat old. And the facilities it has aren't really enticing. The gym is tiny and old, and has barely any equipment. The steam room wasn't working properly, and the sauna wasn't very hot. The crazy golf course needs a good clean really. The restaurant was OK/average. The grounds are kind of nice, but imo aren't worth it

Lodges very well appointed. Unfortunately the weather was awful so we couldn't enjoy golf or play park. But would definitely return. Beautiful restaurant on site.

Nice property…nature abounds but you need your own transportation.No restaurant inside but you can order for delivery at nearby restaurant for dinner..need to plan for breakfast.awesome kitchen…with washer and dishwasher.Heated pool and with hot tub and sauna…Pleasant staff as well & responsive to needs.Phone in Badger9 is not working…staff made aware.

Very good all round experience, first time we have gone for this kind of stay instead of a usual hotel. Definitely would go back and would recommend to anyone. Gave a lot more flexibility, space and facilities. Thank you to everyone who looked after us and made us feel welcome.

This place is great! Amazing rooms/houses! With so much space and well appointed. Lovely grounds and a really great leisure centre. The pool was very clean, well heated and a good size for doing laps. Excellent will definitely return

I got a full flat for about 120£ a night. 2 bedrooms kitchen, plenty of space. But the coach house is an old building and Windows coud be better. I could hear everything outside and feel breeze when close to window. But still good hotel and for that price a bargain.
