Great place to stay for streetwheelers but they advertise a gym and only have some dumbells up to 30lbs

Room was very clean, plenty of towels, bed was very comfortable, generous pillows, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking.

Stayed in remodeled room so it was excellent. They are in the process of major remodel so will be great once all done. Close to shopping. Mid size fridge in room is a bonus. Workout room looked very well stocked with various equipment. Breakfast was the best of all we had on our holiday.

Everything was great and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lounge with good beer, wine and food and slept well.

The server in the lounge was absolutely helpful and very friendly! Nice big room and comfortable. Also very quiet!

Even though this an older hotel, everything was excellent. Check-in staff was very friendly, room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Food at the on-site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Only criticism was that the room was cold and could not get the thermostat to work. Bathroom had in-floor heating which was great. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Lethbridge.

Parking was an issue because of the hotel being located with the strip mall stores. There appeared to be parking available behind the hotel, but there were sketchy people behind the hotel with backpacks and sleeping bags smoking marijuana, so I didn't feel safe parking back there with my granddaughter and leaving my vehicle out of view.

PROS: The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The location was very convenient. The price was very good. Clean and comfortable rooms*. Appreciate the free continental breakfast in the morning. Walking distance to the Japanese Gardens and Henderson Lake. Restaurant and lounge attached (though we did not go to either) CONS: We booked two rooms and one of the rooms they gave us had not been cleaned yet (though they immediately moved us to another room). The rooms on the front of the building can be noisy at night with vehicles revving their engines and screeching their tires down the road (not the hotel's fault, just the location). The 'gym' needs a complete reno as it looks like a few pieces of equipment placed in an old boardroom. Overall, it is an affordable, convenient, and clean place to stay when in Lethbridge.

Very clean and everyone was very nice. Breakfast was hot, fresh and wonderful. Has a lounge restaurant inside and the locals were very nice and friendly.

This property was very old and dirty. Hard beds, dirty everywhere and smelt terrible. Dead flies everywhere, dirty carpets, drapes bath tub. I checked in, went to work came back and checked out. Could.even stay the night...

People kept yelling. The bathroom was very dirty.

Decided to try this hotel instead of our usual. After checking into a pretty rough looking room, we went to head to our holiday party but the front desk attendant yelled after us if we liked our room and immediately offered to switch us to a much cleaner room. Why we were put in the room with questionable stains to begin with is beyond me. I've booked a variety of budget hotels and this one had to be the most dated and rough looking. The staff seemed attentive enough, breakfast was decent but the rooms have seen better days.

Room had BO odour. It was also outside the room, but stronger inside. Could not adjust temperature. T.V. was not attached to the cable box & it took the manager on duty quite a while to get it to work, We were not offered a different room. Fridge was warm upon arrival.

Cleanliness Problem

Yes dirty not maintained wall paper was torn and hanging there. Was very loud and walls moved from music in the bar. Hotel was full of people under the influence and felt very unsafe. We decided for the safety of our family and the condition of the room it was a issue and decided to stay else where

Check in was quick, small, clean rooms. Comfortable beds, plenty of parking. Dining options close by. Very nice bath tub. The phone in the room was not working. We asked to have it fixed. It wasn’t done.

The rooms were actually quite nice - nothing fancy but obviously recently redone. good breakfast. front staff were very friendly and helpful. what I didn't like was the location - kind of a sketchy area with a loud bar on the ground floor. First of all, the staff here are wonderful. The best thing though, for me anyway, is the nice, deep soaker bathtubs they have. Kind of looks like a sketchy area, but I haven't had any problems there (and I've stayed here multiple times).

Upgraded Travelodge with nice furnishings. Clean and comfortable bed. Great breakfast included. Check in staff very good.

No point in pre-registering online when travelodge sends you the link to do so. When you arrive you’ll have to go through the process all over again. The room was sweltering hot when I arrived. I attempted to turn the temperature down to 16deg and left the window open while I left for several hours. The fridge was also not working. Upon returning, the room felt even worse. I let the desk know and she checked the room and there was a power bump (breaker). A man showed up and he also assessed the room. He stated that they had turned off the central air conditioning and that it’d be 2deg that night so the room should cool down if I keep the window open. He said that he could bring a fan to help. He also said that the fridges are turned off between guests and that you would have to turn the fridge on when you arrive as it cuts down on mold in the fridge (turning on the fridge was not something I was told to do). The fridge absolutely did not work until the bump happened even with turning the dial (the microwave and tv electronics also made an audible sound and rest when this happened). So I doubt it would’ve worked prior to that happening. They did eventually bring a fan and advised me to keep the temperature controls at a certain level and the room should cool. It did slightly, but it was still a very uncomfortable hot room throughout the night. When checking out I did inform them of this when they asked. They asked if they could do anything, but it was too little too late.

Old building but our room was completely updated and clean. Some street noise but not unbearable.

The first room had water stains on the roof and splatter marks on the curtains. It was hot and the AC wasn't able to cool the room down. The night staff accommodating and moved us to a different room which looked much cleaner but still no AC. My wife was over heated didn't sleep very well at all. We did mention the AC concern to the morning staff.

Both front end managers were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable and the stay was very relaxing. The breakfast was one of the best we have had as it consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausages, pancakes, fruit, cereal, yogurt and bagels/breads. Good selection of juices along with coffee and tea. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk service was excellent. A very friendly, knowledgeable young man was helpful in telling us what was happening in the city and good places to dine.

Do not stay here. Dark, dirty and unpleasant staff. Checked in at 4pm and vacated the property by 9pm. Fire alarm went off due to unruly guests. Checked into another hotel and called desk requesting refund. Manager was to call me back and haven’t heard anything.

Fairly standard hotel on Mayor Magrath Drive. There's a liquor store attached to the corner of the building which attracts some of Lethbridge's growing homeless population unfortunately. Outside of the that, the hotel is decent and includes a continental breakfast which is nice. No other amenities though, so limited in that regard.

Great stay for the price. Clean rooms. Nice Breakfast and friendly staff. Looks like a room by room reno and things are looking up. I would stay again. Oh and steps from Henderson Lake!

We pulled up to the travelodge, right beside it was a strip club and a liquor store. We saw a stripper in her tassels smoking outside and a group of drunk men. Definitely not a family oriented place to stay!! I do not recommend!

Price was good and close to lots of things to do. Theres a cool little pub downstairs and a sushi restaurant. Walking distance to Henderson lake and the Japanese gardens. Staff at the hotel are very friendly. There was a nice breakfast spread. Muffins, bagels, DIY pancake machine, eggs and sausage, oatmeal, plus more bits. Great way to start the morning! The not so good bits. Its a bit dated. So we were paranoid if we would loose our deposit for damages already in the room. Still waiting for the hold to be released . Ordered the king room but got a queen. We were too tired to be bothered by it. But the room did smell a bit smoky near the ares by the connecti g door to the other room. A/c wasnt very cold. But it cooled down later in the night. Other that that its an above average spot and highly recommended!

I went down to breakfast by 8AM and they were out of the hot food except for 1 sausage. I had trouble with connecting with the Wi-Fi when I arrived, but I notified them and the problem was fixed within a short time. The facility appeared to have been recently refurbished. No holes in the walls, everything appeared to be new and very clean.

Great hotel for the price. Good, hot breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms. Can’t beat it for value. Would stay again for sure.

We found it kind of odd that the thermostat appeared backwards as when we turned the thermostat down, it got warmer, yet when we turned it up, it cooled down. So the room was rather warm regardless of the thermostat adjustment. We were also dismayed that the continental breakfast items were empty both times we stayed. However, they made up fresh stuff right away, but the supply was minimal.

Good parking and walking distance to most stores. Breakfast wasnt great but everything else was good.

We stayed at this hotel because of my kids sports. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Dirty cold( heat didn’t work) breakfast gross

1) The gentleman at the reception was very customer friendly, very helpful, always smiling. 2) Breakfast items at times were not refilled regularly. 3) The A/C did not seem to be working on our 3rd day of stay. 4) Toiletries were not sufficient e.g., soap.
