Very good breakfast for a free buffet. Not within walking distance of many restaurants or shops. Fitness facility is about a 10 minute drive. Very nice staff. Good location for exploring the lakes region of South Carolina.

Staff was excellent. Reception was quick, easy and polite. Room was clean and housekeeping staff were nice and efficient. Breakfast was fine and coffee was available 24 hours. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is cheap, dated and clean. They upgraded my room to jacuzzi room which was nice however we didn't use it. Staff was friendly, however upon check in the (Assistant) Manager was speaking to an employee right at check in area, very loud and almost sounded like the girl was in trouble..I could barely hear the lady who was helping me. It was very awkward and un professional. She could have taken the employee to an empty part of the hotel, or waited until we were no longer standing there. Food was decent the next morning.

Overall not a bad place. It was very humid in our room the entire stay which is not comfortable to me. The swamp cooler worked but it wasn't proper A/C. We had an annoying BRIGHT flashing light on the smoke detector that kept me up. The jacuzzi tub was nice. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking. The price was fair for the jacuzzi room.

The room was well maintained, quiet and very clean. All amenities I look for were present (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, adequate free parking.) Breakfast was varied and bountiful.

Elevator was out and we were staying there because my spouse was having knee surgery the next morning. We were put on the third floor and hotel was full per staff. No notification was given about elevator being out or option to cancel was given.

The reception desk was very friebdly and smiling. The room was clean and very nice as was the interior and the elevator. No smell of smoke. Breaffast was good and sufficent. Coffee 24 hours along with juice. Close to dining and the event we w ere going. Sorry we only stayed one night. Very rare hotel for the price.

BED BUGS Recently stayed here with family. Let me get straight to point. Bed bugs in room caught on blanket next morning. I would not expect bed bugs in room when I am paying almost $200 a night: I understand they can come but then that is part of management to take care off. Got the room changed but my wife got bites second night. Fortunately she didn’t had bites first night. I told them they can be in other room also. After second night experience I would not stop putting this. Staff was courteous . Breakfast is kind of Ok. See the pics. Never recommend and probably will not stay in best western anymore.

Room was slightly smelly. I was and in my sleep because my fingers and arms were itching. I tried to ignore it but finally ran to the bathroom to wash it off. Thought may be an allergic reaction. Instead I had huge bumps on my fingers, hands, arms, forehead and my side. Back to bed and I find bugs crawling around

They have bed bugs in multiple rooms, my friends stay there a monthe before me and had bed bug issues so i tried to cancel my room but the wouldn't allow me to even though i mentioned the bed bugs. They basically called me a liar and wouldn't cancel my reservation. We checked in wand the lady at the desk was super nice but once we went to the room we found bed bugs. Had to find a new hotel at midnight for 5 people and now im waiting on my refund. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Overall, our stay at the Best Western Seneca-Clemson was very good! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean. Though we opted not to have our room cleaned one day, a housekeeping staff in the hall asked if we needed anything and gave us what we needed. The staff at the front desk were great and very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good with an array of breakfast items from eggs, sausage, waffles and sausage gravy, to fruits and yogurts to cereal and oatmeal along with different types of drinks. I was pleased that they had coffee available in the dining room 24/7! The only con is their pillows were very soft and a bit uncomfortable. We would stay there again if in the area.

We liked the location. It was easy to explore Lake Keowee from here. The blackout window shades were nice too! The room was so humid that it even made the sheets feel damp.

OK stay near Clemson and Devils Fork State Park. OK service, room and breakfast options. Refrigerator w/o freezer in room. Appeared clean. Noisy, weekend people noisy. Work up twice from loud idiots running through hallways. Reasonable deal.

Had quite an issue with check-in, had to call Expedia, but they finally got it figured out. The guest services clerk was nice and worked hard on it, though. Room was mediocre. It’s quite big and mostly clean. Quite a few black hairs on the bedspread and on the extra blankets we requested. The King bed was quite firm/hard, those with back or hip issues may be hurting in the morning.

Like most hotels/ motels you can hear the traffic noise from the room but the staff are friendly and quick to answer your questions. The beds in the room are comfortable and I slept like a baby. I woke up the next morning and enjoyed a good breakfast of eggs, sausage, and a fresh hot waffles and there was a variety of different juice to choose from I'll be back again in in the near future.

Incredible staff with Lisa, Rhonda and Sarah at the front desk who were always extra helpful. Stayed for parents weekend and the drive in to Clemson wasn’t bad at all. Hotel is clean and I felt safe and breakfast was nice boys. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. Huddle House is next door & other convenient shopping nearby. I’ll stay again.

Didn't stay at hotel since they were trying to charge my debit card almost double the cost of the quoted price. I opted to pay on check-in not prior to. I called the hotel since they sent me emails regarding the charges and they were pretty unprofessional and saying they are in high demand and that the room was more expensive on Saturday, that was not noted on my reservation receipt. These things all made me decide to stay elsewhere. I honestly was concerned that I would find myself being surprised with another higher cost on day 2 check out. The entire conversation and incident made me a bit uncomfortable to say the least. When you choose the option to pay on arrival they shouldn't be charging my card with out a phone call first.

I paid Expedia the full amount for my stay. When we arrived, the motel did not have a reservation for us and were sold out of rooms. Expedia blamed motel, motel blamed Expedia. HORRIBLE experience!!! A nice employee, Lisa, tried to help us as much as she could! I stayed on the phone with Expedia for almost an hour!!! TERRIBLE

Incredible staff with Lisa, Rhonda and Sarah at the front desk who were always extra helpful. Stayed for parents weekend and the drive in to Clemson wasn’t bad at all. Hotel is clean and I felt safe and breakfast was nice boys. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. Huddle House is next door & other convenient shopping nearby. I’ll stay again.

Very good breakfast for a free buffet. Not within walking distance of many restaurants or shops. Fitness facility is about a 10 minute drive. Very nice staff. Good location for exploring the lakes region of South Carolina.

The property was pretty good for price. The area is in the middle of no where so limited on what is offered close by. Breakfast was decent.

We liked the location. It was easy to explore Lake Keowee from here. The blackout window shades were nice too! The room was so humid that it even made the sheets feel damp.

I liked the breakfast buffet. A large selection of food choices. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and the 2nd day of my stay I was disturbed with the front desk clerk knocking on my door saying my room was listed as empty. 20 mins later we spoke on phone while she tried to figure out what happened. Eventually discvering the previous employee had me listed in a different room! Annoying.

Staff was great and very nice, but overall condition was poor and tired. Room smelled of mildew and poor air circulation. Commonareas tile was sticky and tacky. The breakfast offerings were not good at all, except for the Coffee.

It was fine. Good breakfast. The eggs tasted fresh and were hot. They had biscuits and gravy that was really good. Even though we put the environment card on the bed they changed the linens and towels. Our only complaint was that one of the sheer curtains was ripped. It was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly.

The sink faucet dripped, the shower faucet was plumbed in reverse,cold was hot and vice versa. All of the places I have stayed at had non stick spray for the waffle maker at their contential breakfast, not here. The waffles were sticking making a mess. The employee said it never does that. She pulled the spray out, sprayed the waffle maker and put it back in the drawer where nobody could use it. The waffles continued to stick

The room was well maintained, quiet and very clean. All amenities I look for were present (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, adequate free parking.) Breakfast was varied and bountiful.

Overall, our stay at the Best Western Seneca-Clemson was very good! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean. Though we opted not to have our room cleaned one day, a housekeeping staff in the hall asked if we needed anything and gave us what we needed. The staff at the front desk were great and very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good with an array of breakfast items from eggs, sausage, waffles and sausage gravy, to fruits and yogurts to cereal and oatmeal along with different types of drinks. I was pleased that they had coffee available in the dining room 24/7! The only con is their pillows were very soft and a bit uncomfortable. We would stay there again if in the area.

Check-in with Sarah was great. She was very friendly and very helpful. Other than the room (117) smelling of something I can't describe and one cockroach we had to kill, it appeared clean. Once in the room for 5-10 minutes we got used to the smell but even walking from the bathroom back into the room, you could smell whatever it was. The cloudiness of the pool water was NOT inviting. The bathroom door was sticking causing it to be difficult and very loud to open and close . The shower was wonderful! We chose to eat breakfast at a local restaurant so I can't comment on the hotel's breakfast offering. We're not sure why there wasn't a sign at the street to alert people to the entrance but appreciated the brightly painted yellow curbing lining the drive.
