Cracking place, great restaurant & Bar, staff friendly and room was very comfortable with all modern facilities. Car parking on site free of charge. Highly recommended

Lovely room, really helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Position on sea front couldn’t be better with direct access to lovely walks. Whilst food not available on Monday and Tuesdays, the Beachcomber was get for breakfast and only a short walk away. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, overlooking the sea & Isle of Wight. Lovely restaurant & outside terrace. Particularly good cocktails! Service throughout was excellent. Room was well appointed. Liked the extra touches of fresh milk in the in room fridge & coffee machine. Great air conditioning in the room too. Breakfast was spot on.

Lovely place right on the the seafront Great bar and restaurant below views over to the needles on the patio area. Sitting there with a drink is a great experience

This is an excellent hotel in the most fabulous setting with views out over the Isle of Wight and the needles. You can stroll out over the cliff top or down to the beach. The restaurant and cafe are cleverly arranged to make the most of the setting. And the food is superb with a varied menu and interesting wine list. The staff make your stay: they are unfailingly friendly and helpful and efficient. The room was good, again cleverly arranged so everything is done for your comfort and the bed was extremely comfortable. My only quibble was the bathroom seemed quite tired, but spotlessly clean and with plenty of piping hot water. I would love to return one day!

Great location and convenient for the Seafront and facilities. The property was as described and bed was very comfortable.

Overlooks sea with fabulous views of the Isle of Wight Needles. Facilities were top notch. Particularly enjoyed soaking in the huge bath with tons of hot water. Bed was very comfortable and the bedding was top quality. Fridge in room was extremely useful as this year has been a heatwave. Would recommend guests use the blackout blinds if they don’t want to be woken by the early morning sunshine. The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow so I struggled with my knee injury. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone with mobility issues.

The penthouse is a great room, no it's a small apartment!; a fantastic space, well equipped with abundant and great facilities and it has a fantastic terrace with break-taking views. However, it is looking quite tired and there were a few issues, i.e. the freezer wasn't working, so we couldn't make ice. The wine fridge also wasn't working. A couple of lamps need bulbs replacing and the blind doesn't work in the bathroom.

We had a lovely stay at Pebble Beach in the Penthouse room. It was lovely and very clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a patio looking over the sea.

Staff were very courteous and greeted us well, showed us up to our room and told us how we could get in contact with them if we needed anything In the bathroom bin there was a white cigarette butt The shower head was broken and the black out blind had to be pulled down and then wound up manually Not major issues but worth mentioning

A little devastated! Booked a romantic night away (we never get away!) Expecting beautiful sea view room, beautiful ambient restaurant to relax to.... instead we turned up at 7.45 to a padlocked building, not a light on in the hotel, nowhere to eat, no bar.... apparently all closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but NO indo on this when we booked, otherwise we'd never have stayed. Eventually got through to a number, who gave us akey code to get in at the back.... hoping the worst was over. Room was NOT AS ADVERTISED. Rather than a sea view... the room had no windows!!! They were blocked out as the 'View' consisted of some sort of hell... stinky dirty containers with some sort of electrical that made the noise of 10 chinooks... May as well have been sleeping on a landing pad all night. Radiator broken so sweltered all night and couldn't open the window as the nose was so loud. Had to sleep with cotton wool in all night. Carpet dirty, didn't super trust the mugs.... bathroom looked stained on the floor. Bed was comfy although sadly couldn't sleep all night due to noise! Handed key in morning and nobody asked how room was although staff were polite. Peeked on to a room next door during the maid service... was STUNNING in comparison. And when the restaurant opened in the morning it looked nice. Basically.... check on your room before booking....ours was vile, don't expect anything as advertised if you go on a Monday or Tuesday. It ruined our break away. X

We stayed for one night and upgraded to the Penthouse suite we were not disappointed. It was so spacious, clean with a huge bath and amazing views. We slept very well and had an amazing time. The meal we had in their restaurant was fantastic. We would definitely stay again :-)

We thought the rooms were slightly tired. The restaurant was quite pleasing.

I booked a room for my parents while we were staying nearby. They found the room comfortable and clean. Lovely venue for food and drink and fantastic views too

Unfortunately blind in room was very stained and an out of use air conditioner complete with hose loose on window sill and windows with no view as boarding on front of building covers it, so felt a little closed in. Also shower was impossible to use standing up due to low ceiling. Dinner was very expensive and not that great, I had the lamb which was with ratatouille and salsa verde with feta, not sure the chef knows ratatouille has tomatoe sauce, it was literally green pepper , onion, and courgette fried in oil with the tiniest sprinkle of feta and salsa verde drip. The waiting staff however were very good. Lovely place in general. Relaxing, quiet area. I would suggest offering extra coffees for the rooms if you are not going to serve breakfast to guests on a Monday morning as we had to walk up the road to find some.

Stayed in the Penthouse pre COVID, the only room available this time was Purbeck, this is very small and has no view with frosted windows. Breakfast was good quality but little choice, you have to pay extra for juice and pastries, you may be better off here paying for breakfast as an extra.

Nice little cation but rooms not very sound proof. Could hear people talking next door and going in and out of room and walking around in their room. The open kitchen is a nice idea and the food and table service is great, but a member of staff swearing in the kitchen spoiled it for me, although he was reprimanded by the chef and manager.

An overnight stay in the penthouse suite with amazing views of the sea and The Needles. A very comfortable, large suite with its own kitchen, lounge, spacious bedroom and en-suite. The outdoor terrace was an added bonus. Sitting having coffee listening to the sea was the perfect Sunday morning.

We stayed in Hurst the room was nice but having a hand held shower really put us off! Also the lack of any sound proofing. We could hear the next room having conversations and every car going by on the road! On a positive note we had dinner in the restaurant and the staff and food were amazing!

A lot of emails from them, also text messages checking if I was going as thete was actually no one there. Room was okay, no shower unfortunately and the taps were not working properly. Breakfast was good though, a bit 'backwards & forwards' with staff over ordering, but enjoyable all the same. Great location, but I don't think it's four star.

We had a fab stay the food and service excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and clean just a little noisy from a couple of the residents. We will definitely come back.

Sunday dinner was excellent, fish perfectly cooked and well presented, chicken tender and succulent with veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Desserts sumptuos, all washef down with decent Pinot and Armagnac. Penthouse accomidation is worth the premium for glorious views east and west, space, kingsize bed and bathrooms as well as formal dining space. Service from each and all staff was impeccable.

Very nice hotel with amazing views over the seaside. We ate at the restaurant and we couldn't fault it so tasty and enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying and eating at the pebble beach hotel.
