This is a beautiful property and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff were all very professional and helpful. We each enjoyed a massage which was also a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. There are restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance of the property. I would recommend this property and plan to return.

I spent one night at the Dutchess Inn. The location is excellent, right on the Main Street in Beacon walkable to shops and dining. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was small but nice amenities. The sink was outside the bathroom. There is a rooftop sitting area but no bar or food is available.

Very nice property that is very well maintained. The private room was small but adequate and the large windows brought in great natural light. The public spaces on the upper level were great, especially the rooftop terrace with gas fire pits and wonderful views. It was nice to enjoy coffee outside on the porch in the morning and an after dinner drink in the evening on the rooftop terrace.

The staff was excellent. No parking; you will have to park in a public lot. Place was clean and very quaint. It was also quiet. The was no bathtub and the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. My daughters and I enjoyed it very much!

We enjoyed our stay! The staff are super friendly. Great in town location for walking to dinner or for coffee. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the lounge area on the 4th floor - nice seating, views, music, and fireplace. The rooftop terrace was great for seeing the sun set over the Hudson. The elevator is adorable and there's ice and stemware in the lobby to take to your room. We'd stay again!

My only complaints are difficulty in finding parking since public spaces are the only option and lack of daily service to the room. Clean towels and additional coffees and teas in the least were expected at this price point. Do recommend and hope to come back.

They put us in a room with no windows that was boiling hot. You are unable to control the temperature in your room at this hotel. We asked the staff to lower it and they did not. Called them a few times and finally they agreed to bring a fan but didn’t bring it. Otherwise this is a very nice hotel. I just can’t give a good review when we slept terribly and yet paid so much money for the room. The place seemed empty so I’m not sure why we ended up with a windowless room. Bummer.

There is no window to the outside in the room. There is glass block that lets light in but no actual window. No coffee in the room and At 7:30a this morning only decals available at the coffee station in the lobby. All in all seems expensive for what you get.

Great location to walk through charming Beacon. Staff was uninterested in us except for Alex who was wonderful every time we saw him at the front desk. Offered suggestions about things to do, etc. We had room 302 which was dark, no window except for a glass brick small square that looked out on a light shaft. They DO warn you about this on the website and they discount the price. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the warning maybe because I booked through Expedia. It’s my own fault but we were miserable in that room. Try another room that doesn’t end in 2. Also, oddly they don’t have the name of the hotel “Duchess Inn and Spa” on the hotel. Just “Inn and Spa” so when you’re driving by it’s really confusing.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff are super friendly. Great in town location for walking to dinner or for coffee. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the lounge area on the 4th floor - nice seating, views, music, and fireplace. The rooftop terrace was great for seeing the sun set over the Hudson. The elevator is adorable and there's ice and stemware in the lobby to take to your room. We'd stay again!

I spent one night at the Dutchess Inn. The location is excellent, right on the Main Street in Beacon walkable to shops and dining. The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was small but nice amenities. The sink was outside the bathroom. There is a rooftop sitting area but no bar or food is available.

Cool, boutique hotel which was factory in the day. Let us check in early which was a bonus. Staff was great and offered dinner suggestions. Quaint, very walkable town.

The Dutchess Inn and Spa is located perfectly at a nice, quiet section of a wonderful street with so many places to eat, visit and get involved with. The next visit here, we will stop at the Farmers Market and go hiking. Wonderful!

I loved my room in the factory building! The rooftop was very cool with beautiful views. It was so convenient to be able to walk everywhere in Beacon!

The Hotel is well kept and furnished with antiques. The bed was super comfortable. Walking distance to dining and shopping. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay again.

Great location to walk through charming Beacon. Staff was uninterested in us except for Alex who was wonderful every time we saw him at the front desk. Offered suggestions about things to do, etc. We had room 302 which was dark, no window except for a glass brick small square that looked out on a light shaft. They DO warn you about this on the website and they discount the price. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the warning maybe because I booked through Expedia. It’s my own fault but we were miserable in that room. Try another room that doesn’t end in 2. Also, oddly they don’t have the name of the hotel “Duchess Inn and Spa” on the hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. For me the value is not there. It is expensive. We were in room 302. The bathroom sink is in the room as opposed to the bathroom. There is no window to the outside in the room. There is glass block that lets light in but no actual window. No coffee in the room and At 7:30a this morning only decals available at the coffee station in the lobby. All in all seems expensive for what you get.

I dont believe the place is good value for its very high prices. it tries to be warm and meditative and serene, but it doesnt quite get there. for the prices they charge, i would not recommend it. there are charges for late arrival, the room did not have a desk chair. the water pressure on the shower was low. there was no bathtub. instead of a window, there were these weird blocks of glass. they couldnt get it together to have ready made coffee in the morning. instead of that, a do it yourself Keurig machine. not the spa atmosphere they go for. at these prices, i would not go back. having said that, the location is great and the beds were comfortable and the staff tries hard.

The parking can be a bit challenging since the hotel doesn't provide parking and it is on Main Street but, there are many street and lot options along the side streets.

Convenient and lovely Inn in the midst of downtown Beacon. The room was clean, and very comfortable. The rooftop area was delightful later in the evening to relax post dinner prior to returning to our room.

The property is in a great location, walkable to many restaurants. Room was very clean but the bathroom was underwhelming: with no shower door and water plashing in front of the toilet. The sink was actually in the bedroom, which was annoying as you're always making more noise than you would if it was in the bathroom. With that set up they should do the room everyday, but you actually have to ask. Don't get me wrong, we had a nice stay, but in their prize range, I expect more. The 4th floor solarium was lovely, but the water cooler ran out on Saturday night.
