Alex at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal! The spa was unfortunately out of order for the evening but she offered some compensatory amenities and helped make the night a great one all the same.

Great place for a nice mountain retreat! Cozy hotel and great indoor and outdoor views. The indoor pool was out of service, which was a downer since we wanted to enjoy it in the middle of the winter. Great restaurant and bar. Close to ski resort areas. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place with clean rooms. My room had a very nice balcony with a chair and a chaise. They have free breakfast with yogurt, bagels, OJ and a few other things. The parking was very easy and free, it's a very short walk from the parking lot to the building. All of the staff I interacted with where very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place for a quiet get away. The property was well taking care. The Spa or pool was not open but the facilities were nice. There was a lot of noise one night but after that everything was great.

Pros: Staff friendly, helpful. Restaurant and food excellent. Room clean. Cons: Excercise equipment rusty and not fully functional.(needs replacing) Pool/spa/excercise room not clean or well lighted and no fresh towels. Continental breakfast needs more selection.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, cozy and clean. Loved having the fireplace in the room. The restaurant was lovely with amazing food. Drinks were yummy! I did not get a chance to use the pool as it was closed due to the extremely low temperatures making it difficult to keep the pool warm.

The staff were excellent!! They were willing to open the pool house for my daughter to try to swim even though it was freezing. She couldn’t quite do it so we enjoyed the steam room instead. It’s in a perfect area for skiing and shopping. While Crestwood feels like you’re getting the true mountain get away experiance, it’s only a 15min drive to Blowing Rock or Boone. Both of which are cute little towns for shopping and dining. It’s also only 15mins from Appalachia Ski mountain. We had a fabulous weekend!

I appreciate the rooms were clean. But the walls are very thin and we were on the bottom floor and the people above us were loud all night long. There was no spa and the pool was broken.

My check in was fast and easy. The front desk staff was friendly. The hotel staff that I did meet as far as the host at the restaurant and the bartender that evening were all so nice and provided us with information with questions that we asked. The property is a very nice property. It's on the older side and they are under some renovations but overall it was a beautiful place especially if you're looking for a mountain getaway and you want to feel like you're actually wanting to get away but yet still be close to things this was the perfect spot. Our room was super clean and the water pressure was really good and really hot. The heating unit also worked very well which is a big plus when the lows were in the 20s and the highs were mid-40s at best. The only thing I would change is if they had a few more options dining wise something on the cheaper side when you're not super hungry but you just want something to snack on. The lounge was closed one of the evenings I was there due to a event going on so that's understandable. And the other only thing was the pool wasn't completely hot enough but once you got in it was fine. Again the place was under some Renovations so I understand. Overall a great stay and yes I would go back.

Location is perfect. Close to several charming towns such as downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Also near the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain. Our room was comfortable with a cozy fireplace and looked like it had been recently remodeled. The downsides was that outside the hotel needed some sprucing up. Another downside was that they never cleaned our room one time during the 4 nights we were there. After a couple of days towels, trash, and dishes (from the grab and go breakfast) were starting to pile up. It would have been nice if they would have came and gathered these things once a day and refreshed the towels. We were able to ask for fresh towels and trash bags. Finally, the walls and ceilings are very thin, from someone walking back and forth upstairs at 5 am, and a baby screaming at 2 am.

First time staying at an Inn. I’ve worked in a Hotel before so I know what to expect in general. Checked in, the receptionist was nice but the floor of the room had a layer of dust on it and pet hair so it had not been vacuumed. The power also went out randomly for about a hour or so and some guests came in making lots of noise around 1am. The building is old so you hear everything going on. Next morning, I asked for new towels and that housekeeping come vacuum the room. Left for about 8hrs, came back and new towels were delivered but the room was not vacuumed. I left it alone as we were staying in the rest of the evening. Was halfway asleep around 9pm when fireworks started going off about a hundred yards away or less (This is July 2nd so didn’t expect it so soon) but it was loud enough that it jolted me awake in bed and woke my pregnant wife as well. After 30min that’s over, but then around 10pm that same loud couple from earlier starts talking very loudly and it gets to the point to where I have to knock on their door around 11pm to ask them to be quiet so that we can sleep. I know that isn’t the inn’s fault but just listing here for reference. Finally get a few hours of sleep. Next morning the receptionist isn’t even working (Sunday) and there’s a sign saying they won’t be back until the next morning. Why am I not surprised? Great area, poor accommodations. Save your money and stay at an actual decent Hotel. They have standards to follow for a reason.

The overall stay was wonderful. Staff super nice and helpful. Two compliants: the bathroom fan did not work and the bathroom smelled like meldew ehich made tge room have a funky smell as well. I could hear what sounded like people moving furniture and running in the above me.

We loved our stay here. The first great thing is the entrance to the property - no steep slopes for Florida drivers who don’t have snow tires and a really pretty entry complete with a deer statue! The lobby is clean and spacious w a fireplace. Our room was very large with a huge balcony overlooking the mountains with two big sun loungers. Loved the comfy beds and fluffy pillows. Everything was immaculate. Perfect stay for families and a great value for money!

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Crestwood. The food for be was amazing. The breakfast was included was a nice touch, as well. The room was very modest with an updated bathroom which was very nice and had cable TV and we were able to catch a few football games. The view was amazing & the history is the Inn was very surprising and a nice touch. The staff was SO nice from the front desk to the restaurant. The only issue was the room was dusty…the desk, etc. I was able to get a towel and cleaner to clean it but we have allergies and the dust was visible. OTHER than that we enjoyed our stay and the rest of the Inn was really nice.

The beds are hard, just a little bit better than the floor. I contemplated sleeping in my truck. The Keurig was dirty inside the water reservoir, I didn't use it. The walls were bare except for blueprints of the building over the beds. The room and building smelled musty. The family I was visiting remarked I smelled the same after checking in and dropping off my luggage in the room.
The beds are hard, just a little bit better than the floor. I contemplated sleeping in my truck. The Keurig was dirty inside the water reservoir, I didn't use it. Wonderful romantic place to stay, enjoyed the dinner there and the view was wonderful from the dinning room. Staff were very helpful and we will book again. Issue was the three large dogs above our heads in the room above us. Running around and barking. Please have people with dogs that large be on a level that will not affect others or don't allow anyone below them. Love the fact it is tuck deep into the mountains. We will book again for this is our get away place.

We loved our stay here. The first great thing is the entrance to the property - no steep slopes for Florida drivers who don’t have snow tires and a really pretty entry complete with a deer statue! The lobby is clean and spacious w a fireplace. Our room was very large with a huge balcony overlooking the mountains with two big sun loungers. Loved the comfy beds and fluffy pillows. Everything was immaculate. Perfect stay for families and a great value for money!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, cozy and clean. Loved having the fireplace in the room. The restaurant was lovely with amazing food. Drinks were yummy! I did not get a chance to use the pool as it was closed due to the extremely low temperatures making it difficult to keep the pool warm.

It was like we were staying in an old mansion on beautiful grounds in the grandfather suite which was very large with a nice family room with fireplace. They should add a loveseat to that room so everybody can watch a movie. We managed by using chairs from the dining table. Love the antiques and the feel of the place. Each bedroom had giant walk in closets and there was 3 full bathrooms which was very convenient for the six of us.

This inn was very cozy and clean. It would have made the experience better if there was a fridge and microwave in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The downside is if your room is below another room, you barely get sleep because of the floor creaking. But overall it was an amazing stay!

I appreciate the rooms were clean. But the walls are very thin and we were on the bottom floor and the people above us were loud all night long. There was no spa and the pool was broken.

Alex at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal! The spa was unfortunately out of order for the evening but she offered some compensatory amenities and helped make the night a great one all the same.

Amazing staff, great location, and a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here. I traveled alone for a short while, and this place was my favorite without a doubt. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the bar was also really nice. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The hospitality was top notch! The property was clean, quiet and beautiful! Olivia, the front desk attendant was very friendly and hospitable! Sam, the waitress, was amazingly nice and hospitable as well 🙂 I don’t have anything negative to say. Please try The Inn at Crestwood and you’ll be surprised!

Stayed here back in 2013 and was very excited to be in the area and able to stay here again. They’ve made some renovations since and it’s definitely updated, and a more boutique hotel vibe. So grateful they kept the library the same. That’s where they served breakfast which was simple but delicious, we got to enjoy it next to the fire place since it was chilly the morning we stayed. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and hospitable, they definitely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The grounds are quiet and there’s a pretty mountain road you drive up to reach the Inn. Close to downtown Blowing Rock, Boone and the south entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can’t wait to come back up in the fall!

Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend.

My check in was fast and easy. The front desk staff was friendly. The hotel staff that I did meet as far as the host at the restaurant and the bartender that evening were all so nice and provided us with information with questions that we asked. The property is a very nice property. It's on the older side and they are under some renovations but overall it was a beautiful place especially if you're looking for a mountain getaway and you want to feel like you're actually wanting to get away but yet still be close to things this was the perfect spot. Our room was super clean and the water pressure was really good and really hot. The heating unit also worked very well which is a big plus when the lows were in the 20s and the highs were mid-40s at best. The only thing I would change is if they had a few more options dining wise something on the cheaper side when you're not super hungry but you just want something to snack on. The lounge was closed one of the evenings I was there due to a event going on so that's understandable. And the other only thing was the pool wasn't completely hot enough but once you got in it was fine. Again the place was under some Renovations so I understand. Overall a great stay and yes I would go back.

Location is perfect. Close to several charming towns such as downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Also near the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather Mountain. Our room was comfortable with a cozy fireplace and looked like it had been recently remodeled. The downsides was that outside the hotel needed some sprucing up. Another downside was that they never cleaned our room one time during the 4 nights we were there. After a couple of days towels, trash, and dishes (from the grab and go breakfast) were starting to pile up. It would have been nice if they would have came and gathered these things once a day and refreshed the towels. We were able to ask for fresh towels and trash bags. Finally, the walls and ceilings are very thin, from someone walking back and forth upstairs at 5 am, and a baby screaming at 2 am.

A comfortable and unique property atop a winding mountain road. Easy access to both Blowing Rock & Boone. Very comfortable and modern room - really enjoyed the gas fireplace on chilly evenings. Dining was great with attentive staff, quality cocktails and a creative menu - again, 2 fireplaces active within the cozy room. And the indoor heated pool was an unknown bonus!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Hotel is out in secluded area and has great views of the mountains. Location is along Blue Ridge Parkway which was really nice.

The staff were excellent!! They were willing to open the pool house for my daughter to try to swim even though it was freezing. She couldn’t quite do it so we enjoyed the steam room instead. It’s in a perfect area for skiing and shopping. While Crestwood feels like you’re getting the true mountain get away experiance, it’s only a 15min drive to Blowing Rock or Boone. Both of which are cute little towns for shopping and dining. It’s also only 15mins from Appalachia Ski mountain. We had a fabulous weekend!

Pros: Staff friendly, helpful. Restaurant and food excellent. Room clean. Cons: Excercise equipment rusty and not fully functional.(needs replacing) Pool/spa/excercise room not clean or well lighted and no fresh towels. Continental breakfast needs more selection.

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Crestwood. The food for be was amazing. The breakfast was included was a nice touch, as well. The room was very modest with an updated bathroom which was very nice and had cable TV and we were able to catch a few football games. The view was amazing & the history is the Inn was very surprising and a nice touch. The staff was SO nice from the front desk to the restaurant. The only issue was the room was dusty…the desk, etc. I was able to get a towel and cleaner to clean it but we have allergies and the dust was visible. OTHER than that we enjoyed our stay and the rest of the Inn was really nice.

Charming inn. Rooms are not special but are certainly clean and comfortable. Restaurant is lovely and very convenient. Food was good except the “child’s option” of chicken and Mac and cheese was really pathetic! But adult menu looked lovely. I’d recommend this place to a friend

The breakfast was very disappointing. Limited fresh fruit and not even a plate to put your bagel on. I understand it\'s a \'continental breakfast" however, it fell short. The room was very spacious and the fireplace was very nice. The shower in the bathroom lacked a shelf to put soap and shampoo on. The Table restaurant was nice.

Attractive Lodge Inn on the mountain. Beautiful scenery of trees. Historic beautiful fireplaces. Good sit down breakfast with beautiful scenic views. Our only complaint would be lack of furniture in our room, no comfy chair and no dresser and just one lamp., Otherwise very nice room and bathroom.

Quiet setting nestled back away from the road, with a super friendly and helpful staff, clean room and a delicious hot breakfast with a beautiful sunrise view from either the dining room or on the balcony. We had a great little vacation and plan to return in the Fall!
Quiet setting nestled back away from the road, with a super friendly and helpful staff, clean room and a delicious hot breakfast with a beautiful sunrise view from either the dining room or on the balcony. We had a great little vacation and plan to return in the Fall!
