Great location, nice clean rooms and a really comfortable bed. Staff are super friendly & helpful. No bar but, hey, you can’t have everything!

The property was nicely within walking distance to just about everything, and i have a bad knee so that says something. The only thing is the restaurant is a bit pricey with limited options and the VIP discount didn't get used for this reason. Also, other reviews mentioned a bar, which there is not one in the hotel but plenty of nearby place to grab a drink. Not a deal breaker. The room was large and very comfortable for a solo traveler and extremely quiet with the windows closed. Definitely a high quality place. There is also an espresso coffee maker in the room which was a bonus! I was at ease walking around the area at night. Lots of people and well lit. As others have mentioned, driving in Lisbon isn't recommended and I didn't see any parking nearby at all. I didn't even need an uber except to and from the airport.

Stayed for 4 days with family as husband has a conference in Lisbon. Very convenient location to everything, walkable to multiple bus/tram/metro stops. Hotel very comfortable, good AC, great bed, soft linens. Relatively small but it's center of city. Asked for 5th floor to be quiet at night and it was great. Nice to have robes, filtered water, a welcome dessert. Front desk people very nice. We did not use hotel breakfast as so many pastry shops around.

The hotel is situated perfectly although I would have preferred that the hotel either served food at night or at least had a bar there so we could get a drink before going to bed

Highly recommended for those who want to explore the old city of Lisbon! Easy walking distance to many points of interest or easy access for taxi or Bolt. The staff was amazingly hospitable. At check in, one of the staff brought us cold water while checking in and they offered us in house baked cake! The hotel is in an old building, but nicely remodeled. The rooms are small, but good size for a European hotel. Well functioning elevator! The room is well appointed with espresso machine. There is an in house restaurant and gelateria. Shops and restaurants around abound!

The hotel is a short walk from the subway/metro station, and super close to the Commerce Plaza and the streetcar 28 station. Very clean, modern and elegant, great service and great breakfast. I definitely want to return to this hotel.

The hotel was in excellent condition and the level of service was of a high standard. I particularly liked the fact that the hotel was alcohol free and halal friendly. The staff at the front desk were super helpful. Would go again.

I had an absolutely splendid stay at Mera Prime Hotel Lisbon! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of luxury and elegance. The hotel's design combines modern aesthetics with a touch of classic charm. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was truly impressive. My room was immaculate, and the entire property emanated a refreshing and inviting scent that added to the overall sense of comfort. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment, creating an experience that truly goes above and beyond. Speaking of the staff, their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was eager to assist. Their genuine friendliness and dedication to guest satisfaction left a lasting impression on me. Location-wise, Mera Prime Hotel couldn't be more perfectly situated. Its central position within the city allowed me to easily explore Lisbon's vibrant streets, landmarks, and neighborhoods.

The room was much smaller than appeared in photographs, the bathroom had black mould in it.

Comfortable, clean and tidy room. Have a decent stay.

Not recommended due to issues with safes & dirty carpets. However, the location is convenient and staff do try their best with limited to no support from management.

The positives: great location, good service, coffee pods in the room with a machine. The cons: very dusty room, room was quite small (as small as NYC hotel room), they use a very strong perfume in the rooms when cleaning (nauseating and feels like it burns your eyes and lungs). Overall an OK hotel stay. We stayed 4 nights.

This hotel has easy access to restaurants, shopping and some of sites to see in Lisbon. The hotel staff did a great job of keeping it clean but I did notice some things were permanently dirty like the carpets and the shower.

Overall service is very good. The front desk even updated our stay to a suite. The only issue I have is that we were placed on the first floor which was quite noisy from outside especially the tram passing through on the street right outside the hotel

Stayed four nights during Lisbon marathon and we are very pleased. The room is large for European standards, having a huge restroom with a patio and bedroom with another patio! Bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Even though the hotel is by two busy streets, the noise at night is not bad as the thick wall and windows block most of it. The hotel is walkable to almost all the sightseeing attractions, close to metro and train stations, and with many food options nearby. We feel very safe. Breakfast includes a lot of selections; on the morning of the marathon, the hotel even started the breakfast earlier for the runners at 6am so we can load some carbs before the race. It was greatly appreciated! Overall a solid 5-star rating from us and we will definitely come back to the hotel for our next visit in Lisbon.

Amazing hotel. 10/10 recommend. It is small, but I’m used to that. Open window was cool. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Coffee machine was awesome and of course the fridge is a bonus. Great location walking to everything. I cannnot recommend this place enough!! I would stay here every time .

We felt very welcome by the staff here on our first day, the man who brought our bags to our room was very smiley and offered us some Orange juice as the temperature was a bit warm! The room was quite small but we fit two suitcases in barely. The bed was quite comfortable and nice big pillows The towels smelled quite badly on the first night as though they weren’t washed properly. The AC worked well though took a bit to get up to temperature. It was fairly quiet in the room which was nice. Not too many obnoxious status LEDs like other hotels… The door to our room often wouldn’t close. The elevator was slow so we used the stairs a lot. The toilet sometimes wouldn’t stop flushing. The shower pressure was good but kept leaking outside the shower. I am getting sick of sitting on the toilet with wet feet… It was walking distance to the esplanade, a few cafes, Java rooftop bar, small supermarkets, alfama and the castle. About 10mins to the train station to Belem/Cascais for the east Portuguese tarts/beach area.

This hotel is in a brilliant location. We walked everywhere but you can get the tram and bus just outside. The metro is very efficient and 5 minutes away. The hotel is very clean and they provide water and coffee in your room. The shower was efficient. The room was quirky but fine for 5 nights. We had a high floor and slept well. Staff are very helpful and welcoming . We had breakfast twice in the hotel and it was fresh and plentiful and reasonably priced for the area. The bathroom didn’t have a window and the fan did not seem to work but we were out all day and left the bedroom window open which seemed to help. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Great location, near the centre and close to metro. Nice friendly staff and rooms were comfortable. Only real complaint is the curtains aren’t big enough so don’t fully block the sun which is a slight privacy issue. But overall comfortable, clean hotel, nice staff and centrally located. Ideal for a weekend break or longer stay.

The hotel was in a very nice area. The rooms are really small. The carpet is very old and dirty. They really give you the bare minimal for towels. They are also rough towels. Forget about the mini bar it’s completely empty. The staff however was very friendly and attentive.

While the room design is dated, the bathroom has undergone renovation with modern fixtures. A massive post (one of many that support the entire building) straddles the room and makes it look smaller and crammed. The carpets are old and need replacement. There’s an old 40” Samsung TV (1080P only) with plenty of channels, but we’re still puzzled why it needs to be inside a wooden frame. WiFi is moderately fast and adequate for streaming apps. Bring your AC wall adapters for Europe (round, two-prong). The shower stall comes with newer sliding doors- it doesn’t leak. The water flow is strong for both hot & cold, for those refreshing showers after a long day of walking in the Old City of Lisbon. We stayed on the 3rd floor (#301), which offers corner street views. But, don’t get too excited as you’ll see only pedestrians and the adjacent buildings. The room is spec’d for tall individuals as the coat hangers, cabinet shelves & windows are convenient for taller people. Shorter people will have to use the chair to stow their clothing & other belongings on the antiquated style shelving. The room has a safe, a small fridge, and a Nespresso-style coffee maker. The mattress is firm, all linens are clean, but the pillows are not plush (quickly flatten). The hotel offers breakfast for a daily fee of 15 Euros per person. We’re so glad we didn’t bundle that when we made our reservation, because the Old Lisbon area has too many restaurants, bars, and smaller snack shops.

Every staff member we met was friendly, courteous, and helpful. We were greeted with a cup of tea and a piece of cake when we checked in! Breakfast buffet was plentiful. They kindly brought up a kettle, cup & saucer and tea for me because I don’t drink coffee. When they found out it was my mother’s birthday, they left a lovely pice of cake in her room. Rain shower was amazing. Location as fantastic. Not too far from the metro with our suitcases, and right next to many restaurants. Would highly recommend!

We stayed just one night between flights, but the experience exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional—personalized and attentive. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel had everything we needed, even small essentials like a toothbrush. We’d love to come back and stay longer to truly enjoy Lisbon. Highly recommended!

Spent a week in Portugal and had one of the most comfortable stays possible. I have allergies and everything was accommodated when preparing the room for me. The ergonomic pillows saved me ! The room has coffee machine with espresso pods .. for someone who lives on coffee , cudnt have asked for anything better. The staff were always some of the most polite and friendly people around. I tried the seabass fillet w vggies and their tiramisu as well as white chocolate cheesecake. Must try! For someone who is miserable due to hot flashes loved their air conditioning in the room which was a game changer for me. Will go back in a heartbeat

The staff was helpful, friendly, and cheerful. The Lisbon tour for guest fell on one of our days and it was informative and helpful in our getting to know Lisbon.

The person working at the breakfast was not polite and very rude. Seems to be woken up with a extremely bad mood, not only one day but both days.

We stayed between 29 Oct and 2 Nov 2024. Both receptionists are extremely nice and provide a super warm welcome to us. Unfortunately, we forget to ask both ladies' names, but wanna say the big big thanks to them. If we will have the next trip in Lisbon, we must choose your hotel again because of your execellent staff.

The host at check-in was wonderful. The location is good. The rooms are well-furnished, but VERY small. Our TV reboot itself at least once every five minutes, which was annoying. The breakfast was barely so-so. We would definitely choose to stay elsewhere if we go back to Lisbon.

Bra beliggenhet på hotellet, fine rom, men små, ok frokost (de hadde blant annet glutenfri alternativer), veldig sterk parfyme lukt i lobbyen som hotellet selv duftet ut (men vi ble vant til denne), hotellet anbefalte en veldig bra private tour guide som anbefales i Lisboa (IGO Portugal).

Robes need to be tossed out. Robes were so tough , dull and small. I did not wear mine because I found hair on them. Also they’re too small to wrap around your entire body. Dull as in not very white. Very rough on the skin. The room we checked into was very small. The carpet needs replacing- stain everywhere. The restaurant “license to snack” was really pathetic. Had a really disappointing lunch experience. There was one server and she never smiled. She looked like she did not want to be there. She looked very stressed out because she was the only one working serving 6-8tables at a time. She wasn’t very welcoming or friendly. Didn’t say much to us at all. We had ordered orange juice&cappuccinos, and then appetizers (buffalo wings/tacos)& 2 lunch entrées (chicken sandwich& a golden hamburger) we waited over 30 minutes &then everything came out at once. The appetizers & entrées served BEFORE receiving are beverages. The buffalo wings were cold. we were expecting buffalo wing sauce, not barbecue wing sauce.. tacos served w/ fries -came out cold. The golden burger had a special sauce, but the sauce was on top of the bun- it was very messy to hold. The sauce was not good whatsoever. The breakfast buffet needs a lot of work- again very disappointing. Eggs tasted rubbery. Coffee machine was not good. Coffee was water down. Tables were always dirty food tasted bad. Servers never looked happy.

we really enjoyed our stay here from beginning to end; rooms were great ( only lacked the opp to make a cuppa) great beds; really clean; friendly staff who went the extra mile and were very well trained in dealing with people.
