The Hotel shuttle did not meet me at the airport after I made arrangements 3 hours earlier. I called the hotel after waiting in the shuttle pickup area and no one answered. I was overwhelmed by the thin air in heat and I end up taking a taxi to the hotel and my fare was $2000 bir. I am requesting that the hotel reimburse me of the fare . The toilet did no work the next morning. Hotel cleanliness was exceptable.

We were a group of 10. The staff was incompetent. Some of us were harassed in person, and they even called our rooms, claiming we hadn’t paid and were not guests. The security guards discriminated and only checked certain people. When we entered in groups, they handpicked some individuals to check while letting others in without inspection. The service was extremely poor! We exchanged some dollars, and they gave us 2,000 birr less. When we ask them on the spot, they claimed they had miscounted. However, we all believe they were trying to scam us. The rooms were very small, and the hotel’s rates were not even cheap. We paid around $100 USD per night for a standard room. One person from our group paid for a suite, but it was in terrible condition—everything was old and not working. They moved him to a standard room without offering any discount. Breakfast was included, but they constantly ran out of food and drinks at the buffet. We always had to wait for them to prepare or warm things up. Every time we informed them that something was missing or cold, they seemed surprised. They should be proactive and check these things themselves. The rooftop terrace only opened at 3 PM, and there was barely any lighting in the outdoor dining area. It was so dark that we couldn’t properly have dinner, and the staff didn’t even want to take our orders. The bathrooms on the ground floor (lobby) were old and not properly cleaned. I was responsible for organizing this I regret choosing Swiss Inn
