The hotel and the room were fantastic. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was gigantic. Their gym had top notch equipment as well. I highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel had a full bar and restaurant, that was unexpected. The lobby area is beautiful and always served Iced water, coffee, iced tea, hot teas and hot cocoa. When I first walked in the hotel, it smelled so good. The beds were comfortable and I absolutely love that the air conditioner is above the entry door not near my bed, keeping me up all night. The huge walk in shower was awesome.

Restaurant was a joke. The food was reheated frozen pizza from Costco. Not worth the money. 5030 was not a restaurant just a bar posing as a restaurant. The table were dirty and when I mentioned it to the girl behind the bar counter she said “oh really” so indignant, like I was crazy. She never even tried to explain why or clean the table.

It’s conveniently located. Clean with easy parking. I was told that there is a charge for parking even though the listing in Expedia advertised free parking. The check in wasn’t easy as there was something wrong with the credit card machine.

Beautiful property surrounded by trees. Large patio seating area with fire pits. Close to several locations And easy parking. Rooms are spacious, nice sized bathroom and shower. Open faced shower (no door)- tends to leave water everywhere. Our shower had a very slow drain causing us to pause between showers to wait for it to drain(a bit irritating when 4 people need to shower). Our only real complaint was the thin walls/ doors. We could hear people walking in the hallways and closing doors- its sounded very loud. BTW- no pool on premises for those interested

The food at the restaurant is not quality at all. I believe it’s frozen food heated in a conventional oven. The bar gets busy but the attendant at the bar can’t keep up. So you have to wait for 10 minutes before you can order. It’s not the fault for the Barman it’s the fault for the manager not having enough staff on when the hotel is fully booked.The hotel doesn’t have enough wine glasses no Barista coffee machine. The staff doesn’t know how to use the little coffee machine that’s sitting in the bar to make a simple cafe latte. Apart from that the rooms were well cleaned and I give credit for being a very flexible hotel to their guest. Love the fact that it has a designated smoking area. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

When we arrived, the bathroom was not totally clean. There was hair on the floor and it smelled very badly like someone had just used the toilet. It was bizarre. Your supposedly freshly cleaned hotel room should not smell like someone just used the bathroom. It was overpowering! Room was not thoroughly vacuumed - there were Bobbi pins on the carpet. In the morning, our in room coffee maker was broken. It was missing the part to put the coffee in and the lobby was out of coffee. We did eventually get coffee in the lobby but had to wait for a while. Additionally the parking was full when we came back that evening and we were told by the front desk that they had run out of the overfly parking permits so he hand wrote us one which worked but I was really worried that we were going to get towed. All in all, it’s a nice hotel but it seems like they were VERY short staffed and unable to provide a decent level of service as a result.

Going from least bad to worst, the body wash in the shower was empty, the bottom of the desk was broken and hanging, there were big grey stains on the sheets, the front desk weren’t given a set in the right size for them to give to us, and worst of all, both beds’ mattresses had giant divots from presumably decades of use. This and the sheets appear to be due to a lack of maintenance funding. We left early.

The staff was great. The room looked clean at first but when i went to do my make up i noticed the full body mirror was dirty. In the bathroom there were crusty spots on the counter that looked like it could have been old tooth paste. The bed was clean and that was good enough for me. I did a quick wipe down of all the surfaces since i didn't have time to switch rooms. The staff is great very friendly. The hotel looks nice. Over all next time i would check if the room was properly cleaned before settling in.

The property is well maintained and the room is spacious. Front desk service is friendly but housekeeping is significantly lacking. I stay at this hotel on average 4-6 nights a month. During the last few visits, housekeeping never cleaned my room unless requested (once every 2 or 3 days). And even when requested they may not show up. Emptied shampoo and body wash were not refilled, even after informing the front desk on multiple occasions. One clean bath towel is provided for the whole visit. Because of the lack of housekeeping, I will consider other nearby hotels for my future visits.

Our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Santa Cruz Scotts Valley was excellent! The good: It’s very pretty, the lobby smells fantastic, the food at the bar is good even if it’s a bit pricey. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is huge! The bad: there is 1 fairly dim light in the room, apart from the one in the doorway which doesn’t reach the bed or sitting area. A tiny desk lamp only lights up most of the desk. No reading or using a laptop on the couch or in bed. Also, the the walls are paper thin (I could hear the neighbors conversations in detail).

Only complaint is several of the electric window shades are not connected and just stay closed. King bed suite with 2nd living room was otherwise perfect. Mini-Split air conditioners are super quiet.

Room smelled of cigarettes but the night clerk said they were sold out so my family couldn't be moved. Next morning, I spoke to someone (handyman & reception lady) at the front desk but no one reached back out to me. I would definitely not stay again. Additionally, the room was very spacious but not enough light fixtures so it was very very dim and furniture was of a medieval and simple modern combo.

I was there for a wedding & our group had prob 20 rooms & over half of us, including myself, complained about how horrible & uncomfortable the beds were! The mattresses were crappy! They seemed old & sunk in. They all definitely need to be upgraded ASAP! My shower was amazing tho! I was on the first floor & it was a big, walk in shower with 2 shower heads! That was a pleasant surprise! Overall it was pretty hotel. Overpriced for what it was, but that's California for ya. Ha.

No blow dryer, no room service, had to ask for towels. The heater was not working properly because the room was freezing, the bathroom had no heater, the water was not warm enough and the shower had no door or curtain so it was the coldest showers of our lives. We got room 127 on the first floor near the lobby. Extremely noisy, could hear lots of banging upstairs and next door must have been the gym and people were dropping the weights early in the morning or I’m am not sure what was going on. Got the worst sleep and no rest. The pillows were flat and when we asked for a couple more they said they didn’t have any. The comforter was also flat and old and there were no blankets to add to the extremely cold room. It really felt like a motel 6 would feel. Do not stay here!!

The location and access is great. Room was spacious - the high ceilings, tall doors and big walk-in shower made it feel "grand". The room doors self-close loudly, which is jarring when guests show up at 1am. My room had a few issues - a/c errored out, bath sink backed up, and no hot water in shower. Not likely a common experience, but disappointing for the price point.

Beautiful property surrounded by trees. Large patio seating area with fire pits. Close to several locations And easy parking. Rooms are spacious, nice sized bathroom and shower. Open faced shower (no door)- tends to leave water everywhere. Our shower had a very slow drain causing us to pause between showers to wait for it to drain(a bit irritating when 4 people need to shower). Our only real complaint was the thin walls/ doors. We could hear people walking in the hallways and closing doors- its sounded very loud. BTW- no pool on premises for those interested

Doors? I had a 1 bedroom suite that had no door separating the bedroom and living room. The bathroom had a farm sliding door. The shower was doorless. I didn’t like the lack of privacy or safety (doorless shower). This was my second stay here, and I still do not understand why they place the mini fridge on the ground. The pullout bed was pretty filthy, but the couch itself was at least for enough to sleep on. 1 positive was the staff are very pleasant.

This could be a great hotel but they are short staffed so waited too long to check in. The employee was training and the one training left her alone and the one coming in was late. Poor girl! First room had no air, second room qas grear but we were woken up by water pouring from the air-conditioner. Maintenance had to come drain late at night. Then we were woken up at 6am as our room was right above the car wash next door. This was our second time there within this year and we also had trouble last time. May need to try another place.

Very inconvenient and bad service! I reserved the room and paid for it but when driving to the hotel the front desk called saying there is no room available!???. I end up waiting there on the hotel parking lot with family for 45 minutes hoping to recovery room but when I called again they still denied my room that I had paid.

I have previously been to the Four Points a few years ago and had a great experience so I decided to go again with my husband since we had a great experience last time. We were on our honeymoon this time and I had notified the hotel of this before our arrival. I didn’t expect any kind of upgrade or anything but what was disappointing was we got a worse room than last time. When we arrived, the receptionist was very short and rude. They didn’t say hi or how are you or anything. They just asked for my id and gave me our key cards. I wish I saw their name but me and my husband brushed it off. When we got to our room, the lights were broken so it was very dark inside and we had to rely on the light from outside. Once it hit 7pm, it was almost pitch black. We had to leave the bathroom door open for light. The shower water didn’t get hot at all, it was barely warm. Another unfortunate thing is there is barely no parking. For a hotel that size, it’s ridiculous. Once they fill up, you have to park down the road and walk the rest of the way. Nevertheless, the hotel is very clean but don’t think I’ll be coming back again.

Our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Santa Cruz Scotts Valley was excellent! The staff really stood out — everyone we interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out. You can tell they take pride in their work and in creating a positive experience for guests. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel made our stay feel relaxing and stress-free. The only small challenge was the shower design. Checking in was bad. Made everyone wait until 3pm so a crowd was there with luggage stacked up. I reserved a suite couldnt find reservation, then put us in wrong room, finally got to right room & TV did not work, not enough towels or hooks in bathroom for clothes, towels, etc..

The staff was very kind and helpful. Trevor was extremely helpful with check-in and anything else we needed! He was truly the goat. The room itself was clean and very nice. The only complaint I had is we were staying in a two bed room and one bed was insanely squeaky. Everytime they moved at night we were waking up. But our bed made no noise at all. Its crazy how much noise it made. Other than that, amazing stay. Will be staying again if I come to Santa Cruz for another over night.

The place is nice, we have stayed there before with no issues. Unfortunately the last time we visited we had a very uncomfortable situation where House Keeping just walked right in while we were showering at 9:30 am even though check out isn't till noon. It was a male staff member that appeared to be knocking on the door (which he had a passkey for) while simultaneously opening the door to let himself in, SHOCKING! I was appalled and notified the frint desk.

It’s conveniently located. Clean with easy parking. I was told that there is a charge for parking even though the listing in Expedia advertised free parking. The check in wasn’t easy as there was something wrong with the credit card machine.

The hotel had a full bar and restaurant, that was unexpected. The lobby area is beautiful and always served Iced water, coffee, iced tea, hot teas and hot cocoa. When I first walked in the hotel, it smelled so good. The beds were comfortable and I absolutely love that the air conditioner is above the entry door not near my bed, keeping me up all night. The huge walk in shower was awesome.

Restaurant was a joke. The food was reheated frozen pizza from Costco. Not worth the money. 5030 was not a restaurant just a bar posing as a restaurant. The table were dirty and when I mentioned it to the girl behind the bar counter she said “oh really” so indignant, like I was crazy. She never even tried to explain why or clean the table.

The food at the restaurant is not quality at all. I believe it’s frozen food heated in a conventional oven. The bar gets busy but the attendant at the bar can’t keep up. So you have to wait for 10 minutes before you can order. It’s not the fault for the Barman it’s the fault for the manager not having enough staff on when the hotel is fully booked.The hotel doesn’t have enough wine glasses no Barista coffee machine. The staff doesn’t know how to use the little coffee machine that’s sitting in the bar to make a simple cafe latte. Apart from that the rooms were well cleaned and I give credit for being a very flexible hotel to their guest. Love the fact that it has a designated smoking area. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Nice hotel in a great location, quiet time of year and staffing levels seemed low. No water in the room. No safe in the room. The room was not made up during our stay and there as no breakfast buffet. Breakfast was good but pricier than going out locally.

A very nice stay, my only negative was we were the first room by the lobby/bar and it got a bit noisy around 8/9 and in the morning. Also it seemed like someone kept knocking on our wall, but it may be because there was a chest with drawers in the lobby that people kept opening and closing?? We traveled from Pennsylvania to stay at this hotel for a wedding, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The overall condition of the room and facilities did not meet reasonable expectations. The bathroom was extremely unclean and appeared to have been inadequately maintained. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was not functioning properly, and we did not have hot water during our stay. We also did not receive the welcome gift that had been arranged by the bride and groom for their wedding guests. Given the cost of the stay and the fact that we were traveling from out of state for a special occasion, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, and service. We hope management will address these concerns to ensure future guests have a more positive experience.

The room was clean, however the bed was pretty bad. Parking is great if you get there to park in front. They allow large trucks with trailers to take up the prime spots using double or triple parking spaces. The underground parking is sketchy when you are by yourself and have to park late at night or leave early in the morning. Most of the staff are great, but a few are a bit rude.

A perfect stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Excellent location being minutes from everything. Plenty of handicap parking for my father. Will be staying again without any doubt.
