The staff were all very nice and friendly. The only thing that was a bit irritating is I chose that this place because it had a pool however upon arrival the pool was not open. Understand that things happen and need fixed but a little side note on the website would have been helpful. Other than that it was good

We had to check in late 11:30pm) and that was no problem. Room was clean, breakfast was great- biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, pastries, yogurt. Very nice people. The pool looked awesome but unfortunately we didn't use it because we were there to late.

I would have given it a better rating but there was some renovation going on close to my room that made it just a little inconvenient. The rooms were a little out dated but they were clean.

Staff is great, lobby is fine, place is easy to find and get in and out of. Bed was stiff and not so comfortable, had a hard time keeping a cool temp in the room, long black hair clumps inside the floor mat and one of the towels. TV and fridge were fine, didn't use the microwave. Small coffee pot was fine and appreciated the small pot over single cup brewing. Parking can be an issue with large pickups with trailers and boats, seems like a landing spot for weekend fishing trips.

This was our second time. It is a good stay, they have done some updates, the pool was good, and felt safe outside. The staff also worked to correct an error.

The hotel is older but has had some updates and rooms were clean. Outside well maintained, they were asphalting the parking lot when I was there. Affordable rate. Check in person was very nice. Wifi in room. Allowed pet for $15.

No refridgerator, no iron, electrical receptacle not working. Blood on the lamp shade. Bathroom not cleaned. Room smelled like wet dog. Had to go to Wal Mart to buy soap. Breakfast showed one half of a buscuit and pre packaged pastries. Never again.

I would like to request that staff are trained to regularly inspect and clean air conditioning drains. My daughter and I got sick. The room had a very bad mildew smell. I have breathing issues. And we both are allergic to mold. When we werent in the room our symptoms subsided but as soon as we went back in and stayed about an hour we got headaches, fever and nausea. I am sad to mention this because I very much like this motel. But we both became very ill staying in this room. And once we were out of it we are still sick, but symptoms began subsiding little by little. We were checked by our physician. We do not have any virus, or common colds. Dr. stated we had been exposed to mold and bacteria and that is what had caused our illnesses. Please, I desire to visit this establishment again. Staff and the rest if the experience is wonderful; but I am pleading that cleaning the drains in the air conditioners are made a priority and done on a regular basis. I am saddened about this ans how it affected my vacation time.

Our refrigerator had wet towels in it that had turned pink and smelled horrible. Our bathtub had dead bugs in it as did the floor of the bathroom…. We were exhausted and only stayed a few hours before we left.

We have never had any issues at Lakes Inn but this time was different. Both bedspreads had stains that looked disgusting. The tub was horrible. The carpet was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks.

The room and breakfast were great. I loved the pool, which actually went pretty deep. But there wasn't even a tiny fridge in the room. It made it frustrating to keep items cold.

We were put in a room where they knew air conditioning wasn't working when we checked in. They wanted us to crawl under it and reset it everytime it stopped working. Cigarette burns on floor and bedspread yellow curtains from smoke no eorking light bulb in lamp something all over bathroom door. Not good at all.

It is now 3 am and people came back to room around 1:30 am. Still up and noisy. I can’t sleep. Room is also very outdated. Blankets are as old as hotel. Will never stay here again .also the room is facing main road so once again very noisy

Everything was fine except for two things. First, I am a veteran with a disability and have a difficult time with stairs. I asked for and got a ground floor but had to pay $10.00 extra for each night I stayed. Second, one morning when I left for the day I turned off the TV, lights and AC unit. I returned that evening and the TV, lights and AC were on. The only reason I will not stay at this motel again is because of the extra charge for a ground floor room. For anyone with a disability veteran or not, find another motel.

I arrived on time for check-in at 3pm. There was no receptionist at the desk, I guess she was out smoking and didn't see me walk in. She then said she tried to call (while I was driving) to tell me my room wasn't ready. She asked me to come back in an hour at 4pm because there were no other rooms available. I arrived AFTER 4pm and the room STILL wasn't ready. She said they had 40 rooms and 2 housekeepers. I understand the cleaners are doing their best and have a lot to manage, cleaning up after strangers is no easy feat. I hope the management either hires more people or treats their employees better to keep them, there must be SOME reason nobody wants to work here. For how busy it was, the management should realize they need more help. If I can help it, I will NOT be staying at this location again, I would hate to see what it is like during the height of the summer when everyone and their mother is coming to the lake. There were also women screaming on the balcony for about...3 hours next door. Inside the rooms it was completely silent, but rowdy guests standing outside and possibly smoking ruined it.

The sink leaked the whole time into the floor and it smelt like sewer. It was very dirty and smelt horrible. Manager said she’d refund part of our money and the next morning someone else was working and refused to give me my refund.

We got excited because friends from Indiana , that we haven’t seen for a couple years were camping in Warsaw. So, We rashly made the decision to come spend Sunday with them and surprise them. Less than an hour after booking we remembered my husband had cataract surgery scheduled on Monday at 7am , at the VA hospital in Leavenworth KS . We called the motel and explained and asked if we could cancel and get a refund, they said we had to go through Expedia. We contacted Expedia and they tried for a couple days to work with the motel , but the motel never responded.

I stayed here for over a week and enjoyed the motel. The rooms were nice and clean. The cleaning service visited once a day. The shower was nice and warm. The breakfast was the typical motel breakfast, not much but it was something. IF you want something more I suggest bringing it or finding something else. The staff was great and very accommodating, I had a lot of stuff that needed to be taken in and out of the room daily and when I asked for a bottom floor room, the attendant did what she could and found me one. It was pretty quite on the weekend, even with a few rowdy people staying there for a girls weekend and bachelor party. Microwave and tv worked well and the bed was comfy and clean.
I stayed here for over a week and enjoyed the motel. The rooms were nice and clean. The cleaning service visited once a day. The shower was nice and warm. The breakfast was the typical motel breakfast, not much but it was something. IF you want something more I suggest bringing it or finding something else. The staff was great and very accommodating, I had a lot of stuff that needed to be taken in and out of the room daily and when I asked for a bottom floor room, the attendant did what she could and found me one. It was pretty quite on the weekend, even with a few rowdy people staying there for a girls weekend and bachelor party. Microwave and tv worked well and the bed was comfy and clean.

It was convenient to what we were doing. The breakfast bar didn’t have any eggs or sausage and that’s one reason why I stayed there was for breakfast. Ck in staff was to hard to understand. It smelled really bad and they didn’t have the ac turned on when we got to our room so it was really hot especially when it was over 100 degrees outside. Glad I didn’t want to use the pool it was nasty.

No refridgerator, no iron, electrical receptacle not working. Blood on the lamp shade. Bathroom not cleaned. Room smelled like wet dog. Had to go to Wal Mart to buy soap. Breakfast showed one half of a buscuit and pre packaged pastries. Never again.

We were able to check in a little early which was awesome since we had a wedding to get ready for. Room was clean enough, however walking around barefooted in the room turned our feet black. Was really disappointed with the "hot breakfast" selection. Even though breakfast was supposed to be from 7-10, by 8 am the only thing left was packaged coffee cake. Fortunately, lots of good restaurants nearby to choose from. All in all, not a terrible experience and would likely stay there again.

My husband and I have stayed here a couple times in the past and it was good, not as good this time. The room was not clean. The carpet around the bed was noticeably dirty. The area between the bed and side table was very dirty. The breakfast was also not as good. There was waffles, which are good, but not much else. A couple packaged snack cakes, cereal, and fruit was it. Seems that it has taken a down turn in the last 6 months.

We had to check in late 11:30pm) and that was no problem. Room was clean, breakfast was great- biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, pastries, yogurt. Very nice people. The pool looked awesome but unfortunately we didn't use it because we were there to late.

My room was dirty, it smelled bad, and they did not have pool open like I asked abd was yold yes! And there was only coffe and yogurt for there so called breakfast bar !!!!! Will never be back !!!!

Pros. Overall for the price, pretty nice. Great location, nice staff, pool, grills, horse shoe pit, fire pit, nice tv. Nice heat/ac. Cons. A little outdated. Shower lever wouldnt go up all the way, so poor water pressure. Breakfast was free, but underwhelming. Very, underwhelming. Either the bed frame, or box spring was broken on one of our beds, it sagged quite noticeably. If im ever back in the area, i would most likely stay here again.

The room smelled musty, dust and dirt on the air conditioning unit, dirty microwave and dirty and worn chair. It would have been tolerable had the electricity not gone out while we were sleeping. We woke up to a muggy and dark room. No lights for the rest room or shower. Had to shower with a camping light that we luckily had in our car. We couldn’t even partake in the “complimentary “ breakfast bc no electricity. You would think a hotel would have a generator for this type of situation. The manager said they would not compensate us in any way bc it was the electric issue that was not their fault. I told him we paid for the room and it was not our fault either. He just said, well I’m sorry for the inconvenience and walked away. Poor customer service.
