Absolutely beautiful rooms with very welcoming host. Parking is easy and the area felt safe. The property itself is absolutely stunning with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It's completely unique I learned a lot from the tour of the building too. Fantastic place to stay if you're in the area. Thank you.

Fantastic B&B in the historic antebellum restored home, Choctaw. Our host Lee did a wonderful job showing everything in our private suite as well as the common areas. Plenty of water and sodas, plus a selection of snacks were tasty. And Lee provided us a private your the whole home and it was so interesting. The house is filled with antiques from the owners family. And breakfast was served at nearby restaurants. It was one of the best meals on this entire trip.

This is a great place to stay. It is an old mansion in fantastic condition. The rooms are large and the linens are high end. The host is terrific. There were plenty of snacks and beverages. Breakfast is at a place a few blocks away. Most of the mansions are in walking distance. Don't forget to take the tour which is included with your stay. Very well worth it. A few mansions in the area offer dinner and worth the drive to get to them. I was really happy I stayed. It was a very pleasant stay.

Our stay at Choctaw Hall was a beautiful experience. Our room was spacious and clean. We were able to access drinks and snacks in the common area at any time. The tour was included if you stayed at the home. During the tour we were shown the beautiful rooms that were tastefully adorned with antique furnishings and an extensive porcelain collection. We were also given a voucher for breakfast which turned out to be a huge breakfast at a local coffee shop downtown. It was delicious. Location. Location. Chotaw Hall is in a central location with resterants and other homes nearby to tour. It is also just a short walk to the river. Thank you David and Lee.

First of all, the place is sumptuous. About as close to five star as Natchez can get. David and his partner run a beautiful ship. An aesthetic pleasure. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and I had my own ground floor exit. Close to anything you would want to do in town. And David is a Southern delight. The real thing, full of mirth and good stories about local life. Hope to return soon.

Beautifully restored period property. Our room & bathroom were very comfortable with good supply of toiletries. There was a fridge in our room but to make a hot drink there was a common room that had a coffee pod machine, kettle & a fridge with lots of cold drink choice & savoury and sweet snacks - all complimentary.. which was excellent. Met Lee & David on check-in but didn’t see them on check out as they’d left a note they’d gone back upstairs which assume meant don’t disturb so couldn’t thank them for the stay. We had our own private exit door from our room to the garden and outside gate which was convenient. Parking right outside on street. Breakfast is in a community run cafe 6 min walk away. Reasonable choice

Owners Mr. Garner and Mr. Glover have a beautiful home and gardens. They provided an easy check-in. Snacks and drinks were available. Convenient to downtown Natchez and within walking distances to sights, restaurants and river. We had a wonderful tour of the home prior to our departure and were amazed at the historical details explained and beautiful antiques seen! Our breakfast was at the Natchez Coffee Co. and it was an amazing buffet. Definitely will come visit again. Loved the property.

This is an OUTSTANDING B&B. The hosts could not have been more gracious nor the accommodations more comfortable. My bed, linens and comforter were heaven. I wanted for nothing and even got a personalized tour of the mansion. I fell madly in love with Natchez thus, I will certainly be back.

This is such a wonderful, clean, comfy, and safe property. The owner David, I didnt meet Lee the other owner, was so kind and knowledgeable about Natchez and the beautiful mansions. I would stay again because of the owners, location, and comfort. Love you guys!

What a beautiful place in this charming city. Had we any idea, we would have stayed longer than just a stopping point on our drive. Our stay was comfortable, clean, every detail attended to. Dinner recommendations on point, as well as our breakfast. I had a hard time leaving our friendly lively chat with fellow lodgers in the cozy common room. Lee and David were just the perfect hosts and their home is exquisitely furnished. What a treasure!

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent a weekend at Choctaw Hall. We were not sure what to expect, because the accommodations were very reasonably priced. We were extremely pleased with our decision. Choctaw Hall was in a great location. Just down the street from the Natchez Brewery, a few short blocks to shopping and restaurants, and within walking distance to the river. The home was absolutely gorgeous!. Our rooms were beautiful, clean, and well appointed. I was amazed at the attention to every little detail the owner takes to make his guests feel welcomed. We were comfortable and felt safe at all times. The owner gave us a private tour of the home. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We recommend this property to anyone who may be planning a visit to Natchez. You will not be disappointed!

This property takes one a step back in time. David, the owner and host, lives in the upper portion of the antebellum house. He was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for local food and fun. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and full of antique furnishings. The grounds are manicured and lovely. There was WiFi but no television in the room. The bed was super comfortable and the location is serene. As this is his family property handed down generation to generation, we were very happy David shared it with us. I would recommend staying in this historic house and let your mind wonder about all the walls could tell, if they could only talk.

Check-in was fine but ackward with no "check-in" desk, but I suppose typical for a B&B. Very friendly and offered a separate tour as we had to leave before the scheduled tour time. Unique building and area, felt very safe parking and walking around. Found a roach the size of a small dog in our bathroom, but I think that's common for the south.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful historic mansion. Take advantage of the owner's tour of the property because that's what makes the stay really special. His collections of porcelain, silver, and antique furniture are truly extraordinary. Your room is newer interior construction on the first above ground floor under the stairs, and furnished with comfortable antique furniture. The one television is in a parlor area common to the four guest rooms. Wifi is strong so you can stream any TV you need to a tablet in your room. Breakfast is a voucher for a full breakfast at a local restaurant. We enjoyed our stay.

An excellent stay with a slice of history at Choctaw hall. David and Lee were so kind, gave us a tour of their home and offered many recommendations for things to do in the area. Breakfast was offered off site which wasn’t a problem for us. The room had its own entrance so you could come and go as you please.

The room was fine, and the gentleman who welcomed us was very nice. However, the bed was extremely high, probably a foot higher than my already-high bed at home. I think this needs to be included in the description of this room as it is not appropriate for older adults or for anyone with mobility issues. We ended up leaving this property and staying elsewhere because of this issue.

Chocow Hall is beautiful from the outside and in. Beautifully decorated entryway and dining room with antiques all about. The home is 4 stories and our room was downstairs on the first floor. The only downside is all rooms have queen beds, no kings that know of. Our bed was very comfortable and the private bath was nice. We walked into town and along the river and had a nice Italian dinner.

Our host, Mr Garner’s family has owned this house since it was built, 7 generations. Although the rooms are in the basement there is a common room and each bedroom (4) is beautifully appointed. It was truly an exceptional part of our Natchez experience

What a beautiful place in this charming city. Had we any idea, we would have stayed longer than just a stopping point on our drive. Our stay was comfortable, clean, every detail attended to. Dinner recommendations on point, as well as our breakfast. I had a hard time leaving our friendly lively chat with fellow lodgers in the cozy common room. Lee and David were just the perfect hosts and their home is exquisitely furnished. What a treasure!

We loved our stay! The historical home and grounds are beautiful. It was near local restaurants and the location is great for walking. The best part was our host, David. He was warm and inviting, full of knowledge about the home and area. He gave us a personal tour and thought of every detail to make our stay full of hospitality. The extra bonus was getting to bring our small dog. We can’t wait to return and look forward to visiting David again. Thank you!!!

The room was lovely and well-located near Natchez's main areas of attraction. And it was well-stocked with basic necessities. But what truly stands out is the owners and the larger estate they built, with its genuine reconstruction of high-society life of the South during the antebellum period. The home is just beautifully decorated, with care, with items which each have stand-alone historical value and story-telling potential. It was truly a unique, magical place to stay.

An excellent stay with a slice of history at Choctaw hall. David and Lee were so kind, gave us a tour of their home and offered many recommendations for things to do in the area. Breakfast was offered off site which wasn’t a problem for us. The room had its own entrance so you could come and go as you please.

Fantastic B&B in the historic antebellum restored home, Choctaw. Our host Lee did a wonderful job showing everything in our private suite as well as the common areas. Plenty of water and sodas, plus a selection of snacks were tasty. And Lee provided us a private your the whole home and it was so interesting. The house is filled with antiques from the owners family. And breakfast was served at nearby restaurants. It was one of the best meals on this entire trip.

This is a great place to stay. It is an old mansion in fantastic condition. The rooms are large and the linens are high end. The host is terrific. There were plenty of snacks and beverages. Breakfast is at a place a few blocks away. Most of the mansions are in walking distance. Don't forget to take the tour which is included with your stay. Very well worth it. A few mansions in the area offer dinner and worth the drive to get to them. I was really happy I stayed. It was a very pleasant stay.

Beautifully restored period property. Our room & bathroom were very comfortable with good supply of toiletries. There was a fridge in our room but to make a hot drink there was a common room that had a coffee pod machine, kettle & a fridge with lots of cold drink choice & savoury and sweet snacks - all complimentary.. which was excellent. Met Lee & David on check-in but didn’t see them on check out as they’d left a note they’d gone back upstairs which assume meant don’t disturb so couldn’t thank them for the stay. We had our own private exit door from our room to the garden and outside gate which was convenient. Parking right outside on street. Breakfast is in a community run cafe 6 min walk away. Reasonable choice

Owners Mr. Garner and Mr. Glover have a beautiful home and gardens. They provided an easy check-in. Snacks and drinks were available. Convenient to downtown Natchez and within walking distances to sights, restaurants and river. We had a wonderful tour of the home prior to our departure and were amazed at the historical details explained and beautiful antiques seen! Our breakfast was at the Natchez Coffee Co. and it was an amazing buffet. Definitely will come visit again. Loved the property.

This was a fantastic property and we were made so welcome, it was holiday time and the owner even called around to see which bars and restaurants were open before we arrived. We ended up in the Saloon with a fantastic duo great stay highly recommended

This is such a beautiful place to stay! It’s walking distance to everything. The hosts were so nice and gave us a tour of their antebellum mansion. Would definitely stay again! And they are dog friendly!

We arrived at the B & B right around 1 pm which was listed as check in time. It was hard to find out where to check in at, upstairs, downstairs, so many doors. Finally we called the direct number to the B&B and David answered and guided us to come up the stairs at the front of the home. David and Lee were both very hospitable and welcoming. Lee took us to our room and we settled in. Later that night we came in from our function and grabbed a couple of waters in the common area and found a breakfast voucher for the next morning and the directions with towels should we want to go for a swim. The pool isn’t on site and didn’t have an address but we didn’t have time for that anyway. The restaurant is about a block away and was fresh cooked to order, unlike the hotels and is included with your stay. One of the nice features was the private entrance and convenient parking and location to many other area attractions. The following morning when we came back from breakfast, we were loading up the car and Lee offered us a home tour, which we enjoyed. The home is a beautiful and would definitely stay again if in the area. No tvs, so if that’s a deal breaker….would be nice to have access to a fridge in the room.
