This establishment advertised alarm clocks coffee pots in the rooms they also advertised breakfast which they had a couple of old looking little debbie honey buns and a few bananas that was it that is complete false advertised then i mistaken ly took my shoes off my socks were ruined immediately they turned black .

The parking lot is the biggest issue with this hotel. Don’t hesitate to use this as a place to crash for a night or two if you’re in the area. It’s right in the middle of everything you need.

We had to search out who was working when we arrived to check in. The doors to the rooms don’t latch completely and can swing open if the chain isn’t attached. The owners are very attentive to guest needs and provided a cooler full of ice when the ice machine broke. It’s a family run hotel who are doing their best with a run down motel in an economically declining area.

The hotel was old and broke down. Price was very high and quality was very low. At 250.00 per night we deserved more than was offered. Hilton prices at motel 6 standards.

The door to Our room would not lock!!!! Don't know when the last time carpet was cleaned?? If I walked barefoot in room, the bottom of My feet were like I had been walking on dirt road. Other than that We overall were pleased with Our stay.

My turned black walking on the floor in the room. Door had daylight/nightlight all around it. Office chair is broken. My husband nearly went all the over backwards, if it hadn’t been for our friends catching him. So he couldn’t sit there or on the sofa sleeper as it was done also! This hotel is over due for some work. The stair railing was “fixed” with a hose clamp? Rickety!!! For $240 a night that was outrageous condition!

The room was picked by ratings and amenities and paid a high price first had to clean the toilet seat upon arrival it was filthy there was no alarm clock or coffee maker as stated in the advertising they also advertised continental breakfast that was also false this a Wyndham property and was very disappointing also they had the worse cable television that is possible never again shall i stay at a Wyndham property second time without so much as a apology sad very sad .

Room was not the cleanest. The front desk attendant was very elderly and hard of hearing. Did not want to provide service when asked of him. Beds was very uncomfortable and the covers were stained.

This hotel has a very convenient location. The check in and out was very quick. The room was surface cleaned. Horrible bathroom sink. Bugs in my room. The floor was so dirty, my feet turned black after walking around. Most importantly, the room next to me had a fight going on. I was more frightened than I've ever been in a hotel. When I reported it to the front desk, I was blown off. This seems to be a location for workers coming through town and local riff-raff. Pass this one up.

I have stayed in “smoking rooms” before, but as soon as my 6 year old son and I opened the door, we got blasted with the smell of cigarettes. Someone must have smoked a pack minutes before we arrived. There was hair on the bed and counters so it was clear that the room had not been throughly cleaned. I stayed awake all night at the fear of bed bugs.

Place was pretty funky and smelled strong of chemicals from cleaning but it wasn’t, the beds and sinks even had hair in them. Stained up bathroom and just a really funky feel. But the hot water worked well. The beds gave both people sleeping in separate queen beds a weird rash and odd looking insect bites. I was pretty disappointed overall but it was a bed to stay in while we visited the Talladega super speedway. Will be my last stay here tho for sure. For $200+ a night there are way better options!

Very outdated. Smelled like mildew. Toilet was not in good shape and had “collected” debris in the screws that connected the seat. Carpet and bedspread need to be changed out. I had to wipe down the remote to touch it. The front desk man was very sweet and nice.

We only stayed one night, the room definitely needs to be deep cleaned, the floors are filthy. The listing says it includes breakfast, which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel. There was nothing but a broken microwave. My family (2 adults, 3 kids 2,8,10) went to bed early (8:30ish) because we were tired from our travels only to be woken around 10:30 with loud banging on our door. The manager confronted my husband saying that there was a complaint about loud noises coming from our room. He told him we had been asleep and that the only thing we heard was the noise from above us. Instead of apologizing for waking us he just walked towards the upstairs.

**Unpleasantly Disappointed – Not Worth the Price** I rarely write negative reviews, but my stay at this hotel was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we walked in, the front office reeked of an unpleasant odor that immediately set a bad tone for the stay. Once we got to our room, it didn’t get any better. There was a large hole in the wall, which was awkwardly covered by a picture—clearly an attempt to hide some serious neglect. To make matters worse, we found multiple stink bugs scattered throughout the room, which was both frustrating and unsettling. The real deal-breaker, however, was the shower. It was absolutely disgusting—there seemed to be pubic hair all over the tub floor and we had NO hot water. I honestly can’t recall the last time I encountered such a lack of cleanliness in any hotel. Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied with our stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience.

We stay here a couple times a year when we're in town to see family. Every time its clean and we obviously stay again. Our only complaint is that the beds absolutely suck on our old backs lol

Really great room for the price! Updates are really nice. TV is new and works great! Comfy bed and pillows! Located next to Walmart and tons of food places to eat close by. I will definitely stay here again!! Breakfast was cardboard coffee and honey bun. I would plan to have your own food or get something from Walmart.

Really great room for the price! Updates are really nice. TV is new and works great! Comfy bed and pillows! Located next to Walmart and tons of food places to eat close by. I will definitely stay here again!! Breakfast was cardboard coffee and honey bun. I would plan to have your own food or get something from Walmart.

Nice place to stay. The room could have been a little cleaner. Bathroom sink stopper didn't work and was zip-tied open. The door didn't auto-close. No coffee in the rooms and "breakfast" was only honeybuns (possibly Little Debbie's), coffee, and really bad orange juice.

The room was picked by ratings and amenities and paid a high price first had to clean the toilet seat upon arrival it was filthy there was no alarm clock or coffee maker as stated in the advertising they also advertised continental breakfast that was also false this a Wyndham property and was very disappointing also they had the worse cable television that is possible never again shall i stay at a Wyndham property second time without so much as a apology sad very sad .

We were driving in a torrential rainstorm in Talladega Alabama on June 7th and I called the 800 number to Windham hotels for directional help once we got off the exit. Jolene took us 22 miles in the wrong direction! I called three times and she just told me to “keep going sweetie” I finally was able to get an internet signal on my phone to put the address in GPS and she had sent us 22 miles in the wrong direction! After the third phone call she became rude! I was stressed and tired and certainly didn’t need this kind of attitude! I’ll certainly find another hotel chain next time I travel! When I called the customer care line to explain what had happened they too really weren’t interested in anything I had to say! Bad business practices! Never again!
