I’ll start by saying Ive actually never left a review for anywhere but I travel solo alot & felt compelled. This place was so bad that even after driving for 10 hrs I wish I had just kept driving thru to ABQ. To pay $80 for what it was is outrageous. Hair on sheets, hair on the shower wall. Flies everywhere. Woke up to one buzzing on my face & it was almost my 13th reason. A huge roach greeted me on awakening as well. Parking lot was shady & there was a guy directly outside my room door smoking/drinking when I got there. Also pool was empty & covered with a tarp. Just keep driving yall

I enjoyed a quiet, uneventful stay at the Motel 6 in Santa Rosa, NM, recently. The room was clean and the bed was sound. There was no mini-fridge in the room, and the shower was small but adequate. The parking lot has a lot of potholes in it, so be careful! This is a budget motel, of course, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were quick.

The pool had a sign that said "Closed for the Season". We stayed in July. The pool had a torn cover over it the whole area was filthy. The office smelled of urine. The shower appeared coated with grimey soap scum and toilet in the room had some kind of black scratches all on it. Although my husband is 6 ft. the shower sprayed over his head and hit the wall behind HIM. I had trouble even getting wet. The lavatory ariator was so stopped up it sprayed water all over the top of the vanity, which was so small there was no place to put your toiletries. There was no room for your suitcase. Frankly it was just miserable. We just wanted a shower and a clean bed near the Interstate. We didn't expect much and it didn't even meed our VERY modest expectations!

No-fuss, economical, perfectly located adjacent to the highway for any roadtrip. The classic old-school motel lacks the corporate sleekness of the big motel chains, but the price is right and the rooms are perfectly neat, clean, spacious and the staff was friendly. I'd suggest they get a new ice machine --there was plenty of ice but one had to transfer it manually as the dispenser chute was out of order. Bottom line, this motel is just right if you want a comfortable clean place to sleep before getting back on the highway.

Not enough towels and the ones we had were small and even a bit dirty. Toilet seat was loose and sloppy. The TV remote was broken (someone tried to tape it together). Poor picture on the TV when you did get the remote working. Took a long time to get hot water in the shower. The pool was closed for the season and it was in the 90’s I believe.

Came in late from traveling and just needed to rest. The room I was given nothing worked and no wifi. Had to wait to be moved to another room which was not much better. The soda machines didn’t even work. Double bed room one washcloth? Staff were not knowledgeable and slow. Not returning.

Unfortunately, there was someone else's hair between the sheets, and on my pillow, insects around the toilet and the Fridge had dirt and food embedded in the pull handle. Super nasty. There was hair in the shower and I ended up showering in shower shoes. I was too tired to complain and just stopped taking pics of the filth. There was also a cavernous pot hole to negotiate in the parking lot.

I hate leaving bad reviews but the room was so disgusting I ended up booking a different hotel for the night despite this one being non refundable. Stains on the walls, signs of insect droppings on the lampshades, cigarette burns on the bedding, I could go on.

Lights didn't work above bed. Not replaced when management advised. Room was bare of any amenities. No microwave, coffeepot or refrigerator. Room only marginally clean. Slight unpleasant smell. Door didn't seem secure as a gap was visible around it. Price seemed to be the only advantage. The rooms next to the interstate were noisy but that could reasonably be expected with the truck traffic.

I reserved a “deluxe” room with a microwave and a refrigerator. There was no refrigerator in the room. I could see light around the door and hear the traffic on the street in front of the motel. Thankfully, the room did not face the freeway. No shampoo or conditioner, just bar soap.

There was an inch gap between the bottom half of the door and the frame. The bed was hard .The toilet moved when you sat on it. The toilet must have leaked at one time and the fooring was curled up on the edges. The room smelled like mildew.

The biggest issue I had was with the service staff. Our toilet foot plugged up. I first tried calling. When I tried calling from my room, I got a busy signal (i tried multiple times. ) When I tried calling from my cell phone, the number couldn't be completed. I walked over to the office. She said, "ooooo. I don't think there is anything I can do. I don't have any plungers. " She did take about a minute to look in the office, but they didn't have anything. When I asked if we could switch rooms, she asked, "How long have you been here? " I said we got here tonight. She responded with, "You've been here over an hour." I explained we went out to eat. She asked if we messed up the beds, and when she found out that we had already, she said, "Sorry, I can't help you. " So now we are stuck in a room with no working toilet. The room itself was plain. The beds were uncomfortable. I was glad i was only staying one night.

Average property, bed okay, no amenities. Hotel changed price from original reservation. The internet did not work and the manager said he didn't know what to do. My guess it typically does not work and they don't care.

It was right off the highway, not hard to find, What wasn't, so good was my room was in the back facing the highway. Lucky I had ear plugs.

It was right off the highway, not hard to find, What wasn't, so good was my room was in the back facing the highway. Lucky I had ear plugs.

Stayed over one night only. Too many semis trucks that go 24 seven past this motel. Hard to get a good night sleep. No breakfast or coffee available.

Check in was great and we had two rooms. First one was fine but noisy being next to freeway and bright light outside keeps room from getting dark. After driving 14 hours and getting in just before midnight, Second room he couldn’t get in. Goes to office and he gets another room and it wasn’t nice. Hole in ceiling with bucket on floor. Manager said he should have come back but he had already said that was there last room. But in morning when he complained he said he should have come back. So good and bad. Fine for a few hours of sleep.

This hotel is old and extremely run down and not in a very safe location. It is located was right next to a very busy loud, truck stop. The TV did not work. The refrigerator leaked water all over the floor which got into my suitcase. The front door did not seal completely so light and air came through. It was awful. We asked for a refund but were told since we booked the room through Expedia, there was nothing they could do for us.

Room was ok for one night passing through. Towels were stained and had hair stuck to them. Towel ack was dirty. Bathroom sunk had grime around the faucet. Bathroom vent was falling off the wall. No coffee in the room. Only had one vending and ice machine in the offce lobby. Checkin clerk was very nice and friendly.

There was food left in the fridge that had to be many days old, quite a lot of it… This was a deluxe room that advertised a coffee maker but there wasn’t one. It was easy access and I am grateful for a place to stay with my small dog. The freeway was so close the noise was loud. The heater worked great and the motel was conveniently located.

I just needed to spend the night, and this Motel 6 was in the right place at the right time. Also it is right next to a DQ, so it was convenient to just walk there to eat.

.Great front desk. Had coffee ready on a cold night. Also paid attention that I was towing a trailer and moved me rooms so that I could see the trailer from my room. Very much appreciated!

Came in late from traveling and just needed to rest. The room I was given nothing worked and no wifi. Had to wait to be moved to another room which was not much better. The soda machines didn’t even work. Double bed room one washcloth? Staff were not knowledgeable and slow. Not returning.

The woman at the front desk who checked me in was personable. She was juggling 3 people. The door on the first room she assigned to me would not open, and it wasn’t an issue with the key. Apparently they had been having problems opening that door for a while. I ended up getting a different room. It was very small, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large as it was a wheelchair accessible room, something I didn’t need and apparently no one else at the time did either. There was no A/C which had to have been something they knew about since the buttons to set it were missing. I had already brought all my stuff in and was ready to call it a night by the time I discovered it. Fortunately, I am comfortable at about 80ish degrees, so I was fine.

We had 4 people & 2 beds in the room, but one side of each bed was against a wall. There was no table top to do any work on and the shower leaked all over the floor. The lady at the front desk in the evening was very friendly.

The room was kind of run down, but fairly clean. They seem to be trying to spruce the place up. It was quiet and felt safe. Good for us and our two small dogs. Convenient to food and gas and the roads.
