No tienen parking, nos cobraron 50 euros al parking que nos enviaron donde según tenían covenio, de noche hay mucho ruido, es un calvario para llegar y no tiene nada afuera que lo identifiquen como hotel, realmente deja mucho que desear, estuve caminando con mi familia al rededor de 1/2 y ellos no me pidieron nunca decir en concreto por donde quedaba el hotel en fin.

Very nice hotel in centre of the town, very close to the underground station. Fantastic family room. Very difficult to “identify”: when you arrive at front door you cannot find any sign saying it is the front door of an hotel, you can see just the address

Room was nice and large, roof top clean, front desk team was amazing. We were able to leave luggage all day prior to check in. Only concerns are the challenges for taxis to find the hotel. Once you know where it is you can be dropped one block over to walk easily, however the Gothic Quarter streets are very small and not always driveable. Great recommendations on food from office as well as they coordinated a taxi to pick us up at the door to ensure we were at the airport with no issues and luggage.

What a hidden gem! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal for on-foot exploration. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were airconditioned. Elevator was available. Breakfast was included. I would definitely stay again.

Massive room for a European hotel. Spectacular location but a little difficult to find as it is not display Mercer House on the outside. Nice morning breakfast, very helpful staff. We enjoyed it.

A very warm and friendly check in experience with Lucas who very kindly helped me book a restaurant. There is quite a lot of noise from shutters being closed around 2am otherwise there’s just a gentle hum of people as you’d expect for the area. Highly recommend a cold beer on the roof terrace as the sun goes down. Room was surprisingly large for old quarter and mini bar prices were fairly reasonable for a 4* hotel - €4 for a beer.

Location is extremely convenient. The front desk staff were very helpful. The cleaning staff did a thorough job every day. Will definitely stay here if visit Barcelona next time!

The room while spacious was in need of updating. Outlets for charging devices were used by lights and the buttons to operate them were difficult to discern. The ceiling in the bathroom was moldy and deteriorated. The room doors slammed loudly throughout the night. Construction noise nearby started promptly at 8AM. The WiFi was unreliable forcing us to go to a nearby hotel to work. The staff was courteous and warm but ultimately unhelpful. The breakfast was limited and not worth the price especially considering the numerous cafes in the area. Overall our stay was fine but hard to justify at this price point.

I booked the hotel at the last minute and was very happy with my selection. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly. The room was huge and was tidy and fresh, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely clean.The hotel was within walking distance of all popular landmarks and convenient for accessing transport hubs.Highly recommended.

Nous avons séjourné au Mercer House Boria en famille (2 adultes et 3 enfants). Nous avons adoré cet endroit et y avons passé un super séjour grâce au confort, à l’emplacement, au service et à la qualité des gens qui y travaillent. Nous sommes arrivés tard, vers 2 heures du matin, la réception est ouverte 24h/24, Emil nous a accueilli et nous a très bien reçu. Tout au long du séjour, Emil ainsi que Frederico et Magdalena ont été d’une gentillesse incroyable, à l’écoute et toujours avec le sourire. L’hôtel est très propre et moderne. Les chambres sont très spacieuses. Nous avons pris un Loft. Nous y étions très à l’aise à 5: il y’a une chambre pour 2 enfants, et une grande pièce avec un très grand lit et une kitchinette tres bien équipée (réfrigérateur, congélateur, four, plaques chauffantes avec hotte, machine à laver la vaisselle, machine Nespresso) et tout ce qu’il faut comme vaisselle. Beaucoup de rangements, et même un lit supplémentaire pour mon petit dernier. Et avec tout ça, nous nous sentions très à l’aise avec beaucoup d’espace pour circuler. Le ménage est fait quotidiennement dans les chambres et est impeccable. Le quartier est d’un charme incroyable dans les petites rues du vieux Barcelone. L’emplacement est idéal, à côté de tous les centres d’intérêts de la ville. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir et remercions toute l’équipe pour leur très bel accueil. Merci 🙏

Great location, clean and comfortable room. The room wasn't super quiet from outside or stairwell noise, but it wasn't too bad. Comfy bed and pretty spacious room (we had the 5-person loft). Great walkable location and close the subway station.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with our 2-year-old daughter and were generally satisfied with our experience. The rooms were well designed for families with children, and the hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. They supported us in every way both before and during our stay. Breakfast met our expectations, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city. Since the hotel is located in a busy area, the surroundings can be a bit noisy, but perhaps this could be improved with better sound insulation on the windows. Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable holiday

We are a family of 4 and amazed we found this huge room in such an amazing location in Europe! The staff goes above and beyond- they made us dinner reservations and booked a car to take us to the airport. So friendly and helpful! The room is HUGE, even by American standards. We have a king bed and there is a seperate room with two twins. There is also a pull out twin available but we don’t need it. Tons of room to store your clothes. There is also a kitchen with fridge in room. The area is totally walkable and the hotel is right next to a metro entrance so easy to get anywhere. I highly recommend!

We were lucky to get an apartment style room for our family of 5 - 2 sleeping areas, 2 bathrooms, a living/ kitchen facility Fab air con and Netflix for the kids The gentleman on reception really was a gentleman and was very helpful Would happily stay again

Overall it was "ok" the space was nice however we had several inconveniences, such as no hot water the first night followed y no water from 9-3pm the very next morning, although it was a government water shut off the hotel could have made alternative water supply auch as reserves in tanks etc, wifi was inconsistent, sewage smells from toilet and streets were intolerable, location had shops however finding out that taxis didn't drop off in front of hotel made it difficult with 3 kids and suitcases to push on cobble stone roads staff tried there best but the manager was annoyed with my complaints and basically told me "we dont like to host ppl that are not happy" .....so he wanted to shut me up and suggested finding another hotel. Rahul needs a lesson in customer service and professionalism!!! They refunded my prepaid breakfast that was because we didn't partake it was cold! Lesson learnt abt small boutique hotels! Never again!
Overall it was "ok" the space was nice however we had several inconveniences, such as no hot water the first night followed y no water from 9-3pm the very next morning, although it was a government water shut off the hotel could have made alternative water supply auch as reserves in tanks etc, wifi was inconsistent, sewage smells from toilet and streets were intolerable, location had shops however finding out that taxis didn't drop off in front of hotel made it difficult with 3 kids and suitcases to push on cobble stone roads staff tried there best but the manager was annoyed with my complaints and basically told me "we dont like to host ppl that are not happy" .....so he wanted to shut me up and suggested finding another hotel. Rahul needs a lesson in customer service and professionalism!!! They refunded my prepaid breakfast that was because we didn't partake it was cold! Lesson learnt abt small boutique hotels! Never again!

I booked the hotel at the last minute and was very happy with my selection. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly. The room was huge and was tidy and fresh, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The bathroom was also extremely clean.The hotel was within walking distance of all popular landmarks and convenient for accessing transport hubs.Highly recommended.

The property is in an excellent location for shopping, great restaurants, art, Picasso museum, and live music. Vicente and staff (Carla I believe) were very friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in. Vicente shared some excellent local restuarant recommendations in different neighborhoods. The room was very clean and the AC worked perfected. We were a family of 4 and we all loved the hotel.

Very nice hotel in centre of the town, very close to the underground station. Fantastic family room. Very difficult to “identify”: when you arrive at front door you cannot find any sign saying it is the front door of an hotel, you can see just the address

Really great location in Gothis Qtr. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars for area around is that there was construction of the next building over that you could hear throughout the night plus a few loud people on the street and there is no pick up/drop off at the door but none of our drop offs had us walking more than a block or two. Our apartment had a real working AC which was needed after hot days out. There is a great restaurant (lot necessarily Sp or Catalan food) but delicious around the corner.

We are a family of 4 and amazed we found this huge room in such an amazing location in Europe! The staff goes above and beyond- they made us dinner reservations and booked a car to take us to the airport. So friendly and helpful! The room is HUGE, even by American standards. We have a king bed and there is a seperate room with two twins. There is also a pull out twin available but we don’t need it. Tons of room to store your clothes. There is also a kitchen with fridge in room. The area is totally walkable and the hotel is right next to a metro entrance so easy to get anywhere. I highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel! Rooms were very spacious and ideal for our purposes. Location was terrific too - right in the middle of everything! Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Would happily return anytime!

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great. There was lots of space for our large group. The rooms are like small apartments and in Europe, it was a great find! It’s difficult to find larger places to stay that can accommodate a family of 4. The breakfast was good and the staff and service was amazing. The location was great! Our room was on the top floor and the roof had a leak but the buildings are old so it wasn’t surprising. The staff was quick to respond. I would definitely stay again!

We LOVED our room. It was huge. Our daughter loved having her own area. The bed was a bit hard but not too bad. The bathroom was tiny. Two people could not get ready at the same time. I also thought the bathroom stairs were hazardous without being given slippers. The daily breakfast was okay. The milk was always warm. There weren’t a ton of options. The one thing that I really hated was the faint smell of sewage in the breakfast area. This smell is ALL over Barcelona so I don’t k ow if it is fixable. It just made eating a bit unappetizing. The location is perfect. There are tons of shops and restaurants all around. It is a 3 minute walk to the subway. We were able to travel all over the city with no issues.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with our 2-year-old daughter and were generally satisfied with our experience. The rooms were well designed for families with children, and the hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. They supported us in every way both before and during our stay. Breakfast met our expectations, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city. Since the hotel is located in a busy area, the surroundings can be a bit noisy, but perhaps this could be improved with better sound insulation on the windows. Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable holiday

The apartment/hotel svit was big enough and had two rooms, but not proper rooms as the walls wasn't from floor to ceiling. Big and comfortably beds, ok sofas and working TV which we could use to login to our own Apple TV for the kids. Kitchen wasn't equipped, so you had just glasses, two small spoons and coffee cups. Basically you could only make coffee/tee and drink juice like in a normal hotel. But you had a bigger fridge and freeze for things you bought at the mercado. Cleaning was really good and the staff at the reception was very, very nice to us. Golden star. Breakfast was fresh and good, but not top notch. Perhaps cause we are used to a much broader meny as hotel breakfast in Sweden. But as always in Spain the fruits, vegetables and berries are great. We missed warm food as sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs etc. As always in Mediterranean countries they don't have dark bread, the kind of bread we love in the northern parts of Europe and they only had one kind of cheese. Otherwise they had yoghurt, serials, good coffee, great ham and other really tasty stuff so we choose to have breakfast every morning at the hotel anyway. A big plus is that it's small and cozy so you don't have to have breakfast with 200 other guests and screaming kids...

O quarto familiar que fiquei é incrivel! Super espaçoso, parece um apartamento com cozinha e sala. Os atendentes são super prestativos. A limpeza é muito boa também. O Wifi tem boa velocidade no quarto. O hotel fica próximo a muitos restaurantes e cafés. Também é possível fazer o bairro gótico a pé;

We were thrilled with Mercer House Boria BCN. The location was exceptional and it was such a nice welcome to step into the beautiful reception area. We did lose power in the middle of the night but were pleased with how quickly they resolved it. However, they did bring an electrician into our unit while we were still packing up which wasn't ideal. My feedback would be that the 5th bed should have a real mattress, even if it isn't always used. There is no reason for it to be an uncomfortable cot. It would have been a real problem if someone older than a small child had to use that bed. Also, there were no black out curtains at the head of that 5th bed which was really unfortunate. The two bedrooms were great! There was water damage on the ceiling of the bathroom and loose toilet paper holders... not a big deal at all, just want to get it on the radar as it does cheapen the overall experience. To be clear, I highly recommend, but there are a few tweaks that would have improved our stay! Would definitely stay there again but would need, at minimum, blackout curtains on that last window. Thanks!

We had a truly wonderful stay. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had high ceilings, which made it feel even more special. Our whole family was delighted from the moment we walked in.
