Super 8 by Wyndham Lake Charles Northeast

Nobody got the rooms they paid for and the room is not like the listing there is no couch 🛋️. 40 dollar deposit and no laundry room vending machine empty was put in a different room then the one that I picked and The wheechair assessable room definitely not wheelchair assessable

Rooms stank with what I assume was a cleaner or room deoderizer. Group drinking beer in the parking lot was unsettling.

Expedia lies about this property! They have listed breakfast with a nice photo of the breakfast area, they listed laundry room and they dont have one, they listed pool but no pool. The first room 111 smelled like wet/mold no phone, a/c and the lights in the restroom were dim then we were moved to 218 and i found a bugs on the bed with stained sheets. When i asked for more toilet paper and towels i was questioned for what and why. The little skinny lady was rude at the front desk both encounters with her on Friday and Saturday. When i checked out early she also questioned why?. Id like to get a refund from you all because what you have listed and what they actually have on site is totally different.

The property was clean and welled maintained. The parking lot had plenty of lighting. The room was very clean

Parking was full of bikers who just partied, broken beer bottles, tthwm slamming doors and not one member of staff dis anything about it.. They took up handicap spaces in which my father has both legs missing had to be assisted to his room because he could not fit his wheel chair..

The ice box was very dirty there was plastic spoons and forks in the drawers in the room only 2 towels and no stopper for the bathtub hard to give a child a bath we had to call the office both nights because someone who i think must live there was having a party outside VERY LOUD after 12 on Friday night and after 11 on Saturday Nite

We are senior citizens, and we feel safe at this hotel.

My stay was tiresome because the next door neighbor kept me up the first night and others was making noise the next unhappy with the people that had a stay there was because they was making noise until 4 I clock in the morning right by my window and not sitting by there own window.

Was convenient and the property well well lit at night

There are a lot of oilfield workers staying there. The outside stairs were filthy (covered in mud and cigarette butts) from the workers, getting to the room. You have to pass several workers sitting outside the rooms smoking and passing large trash cans that were full sitting out in the hallway. The breakfast area was good and clean. The bed was comfortable and the air was on and cold. It had plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The chair was gold colored fabric and it was covered in black oil stains from the workers sitting on it. I would only stay again only if I had no other choice.

I can send you pictures if you like. Dirty, no smoke detector hooked up, mold looking stains on the curtains, outlets looked dirty and dangerous to use, light in the hallway outside our room didn’t work so was very dark to enter our room.

Room definitely wasn’t clean and smelled horrible. Found a used vape and sheets were dirty. We ended up buying our own sheets so we knew they were clean

The office called me to make sure I was checking in. We got to our room at 11pm. There were very few towels. The bathroom door was falling off the hinges. The bed was stiff. The bathroom was dirty.

Not happy at all!!! Check in was thru a window. Something was dead in the trash can outside by the check-in window. The whole area smelled of rotting flesh. In addition, it appeared that someone had urinated on the sidewalk area, as that area stunk of piss. It was GROSS!!! to top off the check-in process, , the clerk stated, that I needed to leave a $20 deposit; for any damages and any essentials. This was not informed about, from the Expedia's website. So my wife and I get our keys to the room. We go to the room and it was extremely dirty. The room smelled of dirt and cigarette smoke. The bathtub and sink was stained. My wife then discovers that the telephone does not work. Unsatisfactory!!! I immediately went back to the clerk and informed them about the condition and we asked for another room. We were given a room with two full size beds instead of the king. That room was better, however, instead of the odor of cigarettes, we now have the distinct choking odor of pinesol. You could slide on the floor as it appeared oily. The bathtub was slanted forward when you stepped in. We were tired and had to get rest. We were only at the motel for about 5 hours before we had to leave. We did get our $20 deposit back. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The outside looks nice, but the pictures on Expedia are deceptive. The owner(s) of this location needs to do some serious inside renovations and hire some cleaning staff that know how to clean a motel.

Driving in the property was clean , we arrived at 11 at night. The front desk was not welcoming, but she was not rude either. The room smelled like cleaning product, dirty mop, sticky surfaces but we didn’t expect much paying $63 bucks.chaos in the middle of the night people fighting , sounded like hitting on the wall, and stuff thrown, reservation said free breakfast — no breakfast at all !!! Never again !

Original room given had a broken bathroom door. Was given a better room upon request. Breakfast was decent.

Advertised breakfast included. Only coffee and juice. No food. First room AC broken. Moved our room with no problem.

Finally, a hotel with comfortable bed & pillows!

My family and I enjoyed our stay for two nights. We found that the location was convenient. What we didnt like was the noise from the street traffic. I plan to stay again in the near future. Thank you so much.

Woke up late for checkout.. Staff was very understanding .. Didnt go crazy trying to run us out .. Like other hotels .....Oyo xstay .... Congratulations Staff Well Done .....

Clerck's phone music was loud at front desk that I had to call for clerk 3 times. She was rude. I asked if we could have a first floor, her answer was a sharp "No!" She told me I needed to pay $20.00 security deposit, I asked her to use the card I checked in with, her answer was the same rude "No!" When asked why, she said the room was prepaid and she couldn't use it. I will never stay there again.

Receptionists at front Desk was very helpful. And super friendly.

The office front desk worker had a problem with giving me receipts or a voucher for my deposit and was rude about getting me extra towels for the next day and turned her back on me in disgust

Andy and the staff were top notch. Was worried because the price of my stay was so inexpensive but it exceeded my expectations.

I stayed there for 2 nights and whenever I checked out of the hotel the girl at the front desk was so rude and when I asked for my deposit back she would not give it back she said that we were smoking in the room and that she had pictures!! There was nobody smoking in the room because we don't smoke!! I believe they are scamming ppl out of their deposits by claiming everyone smokes. When I demanded to see the pictures she wouldn't show them to me. And if they have cameras in rooms that's illegal. Terrible place rude workers don't go there!!

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot to meet the daughter in the middle. We felt safe about our surroundings considering we were right off the main highway. The rooms had a musty smell & could use some updates but for the price we were satisfied. We will return

I liked the location and it was quiet and clean,

I said I got for the price that I got through Expedia I got a decent room and a good location in the hotel because I was on my own and I wanted to be safe so they took care of that but it was a king business suite per se it was big but one big room and it was clean but I like the fact it was on the second floor and it was tucked away over in the corner over the office and like I said at that time it was like $56 a night that was a steal thank you Expedia.

Places around it are still renovating, so if no transportation you have to walk further to get to convenient stores etc …, won’t recommended walking towards the evening seem a little bit of a rough neighborhood.

The room was clean and the people were friendly but it was disappointed when we ask for continental breakfast and all they had was a coffee machine. should not advertise they serve continental breakfast.

Comfortable and clean. But, Chair in room needs to be replaced-sink down and biggest disappointment was the breakfast or lack of! Hotel’s shouldn’t list breakfast when you only get coffee-which was poor with no flavor, juice and a packaged sweet roll..

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was a joke with only breakfast bar and orange juice/coffee. The Wi-Fi was not great signal. Overall had necessities covered.
