We loved the pool. It was very big for an indoor pool. Even outdoor pools aren't that big! They were kind and opened the pool early so the kids could go swimming before was scheduled to open.

Hands down the filthiest hotel I’ve ever slept in. I wish I had taken photos of the table in the room with grease and crumbs, the melted ice cream and soda rings in the mini fridge and what the washcloths looked like after I wiped off the nightstand and washed the sticky floor between the beds. If there was anything good, it was how quickly and how willing the apologetic worker was when she brought up new sheets, after I discovered the grass and yellow spots in one bed, black curlies in another, mascara on a pillowcase, and black stains on another set (hair dye maybe). I did get pictures of the missing parts of the door locks, bathroom floors, cigarette on the floor in the breakfast area, the spiderweb on my light fixture and the filthy bathtub. Breakfast was considerably lacking. Waffle batter came out like water. There were no bagels, fruit, and a strange taste in the apple juice. And the pool was shut down by the health department. My very patient, kind and tolerant father stated this hotel was a “disappointment all around,” which might be the understatement of the year.

Hotel was sleep-able, but veryyyy dirty. After walking around holding my baby to sleep in our room for 10-15 minutes, my feet were black (took a shower just before this, so it wasn’t just dirty feet lmao). Towels had stains. The shower was dirty, being able to wipe visible scum off the walls. I wore shoes while showering and there was no way I was letting my baby sit in there to be washed. There was no side chair or anything other than the bed to sit, which made feeding my baby difficult. There were trash & food boxes from previous guests under the bed. The pool was closed. EVERYTHING got washed once coming home (clothes, baby toys, bags, etc.). Additionally, we drank all bottled water and didn’t trust the ice machine. Guest services was kind & the on-the-go breakfast bar was not bad.

Pool was closed and according to Receptionist it has been closed since March. This is false advertising! Thankfully she cancelled our reservation and we found other accommodations. You can do better.

Don’t pay more than 50 to stay at this dump. Should literally be your last option in Keokuk. A garbage hotel, with low class people staying there. Pool is broken. Shocker. If you move the ottoman in your room, you’ll uncover a filthy floor underneath. Sagging, old furniture. Hard water stained gross windows. Busted ice machine. Just not a nice place. Surrounding neighborhood is decrepit. Avoid unless dirt cheap.

This place is very clean and the staff is very professional and eager to assist you with any of your needs the only reason I marked in lower in one area is that they advertise a pool and their pool has been closed down both times I have been there this year. I wouldn’t use it myself but families look at that when they are planning trips for their children to have some fun

The kids loved the pool. Hallways and lobby were so cold could not eat or visit because of being too cold. Parking lot is pretty dirty and could hear yelling out back at night almost all night, not on the property but close. Staff is excellent and very friendly and so helpful. Pool water was warm and very clean.

When we got into the room the air was set to 67° it was super hot and it only blew warm air out no matter how low it was turned down. We asked for another room. Wyatt said there were no rooms. We checked Expedia and there were rooms. We called Wyndham and they said there were rooms even though Wyatt said there were no rooms. When we caught him in a lie he then said there was another room but the air didn’t work and said there was a king size room and then back tracked and there really wasn’t one. The solution was to give us a box fan which when we turned it on one of the fan blades broke. The only other hotel near was another Wyndham hotel that had worst ratings and reviews than this one, so we had to stay put. The room was dirty, curtains were shredded with yellow stains, floor was filthy with dirt and grime. it clearly had not been swept in a while. The windows had mold all over them. So negative 5 stars. Do not recommend. I took pics and would add if I could.

The floor was uncarpeted and filthy. The light in the bathroom would only work for 20 minutes. The next morning they said the would fix both, but they didn’t. The drapes fell down. We had to check out after two nights because of the filth.

First, the front desk gave us a key for the wrong room. I know it was for the wrong room because my wife tried the one that we guessed the key was for, based on some contradictory statements from the front desk. Second, the room, including the bedding, was filthy. We pulled back the comforter and discovered dead bugs, dirt, and lots and lots of hair on the sheets. The bathroom was also dirty and had hair everywhere. Third, the breakfast options consisted of watered-down waffle batter and I don't know what else... There wasn't much, though. We're also pretty sure that some other guests were cooking meth in their room, but that's just speculation. However, they had A LOT of ingredients in some grocery bags... We were scheduled to stay three nights, but left after one because the conditions were so terrible. Don't stay here. Drive an extra 30 minutes and spend the extra money to stay anywhere but here.

Really poor cleanliness. Looked at another room to change for the evening and there were piles of dirt, bugs, and mice droppings behind and under everything. Check under every cushion as our couch was disgusting. In looked like it was drug in from the alley. Gross place. Be up on shots before you stay here.

Got there and they had over booked though we had reservations. They found a room that looked like it was under construction as it had dirtiness on floor that stuck to your feet. It also had a bed a tv and a fridge nothing else. It was late so we just slept and would deal with it in The morning. Breakfast was carbs. They had waffles, bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. We asked for another room as ours was subpar. The new room had funiture but A/C didn’t work great so it was warm all night. The next day found hair stuck to wall in shower next to an old hairy bar of soap. At this point we just gave up! Will not be staying here again.

I had a terrible time just trying to reach them to pre-sign in. I wasn't able to get there until 1 am. The room they gave me was completely unclean with the TV on and towels everywhere plus beds still dirty and undone from the previous occupant. Had to go back down to the front desk, track someone down and finally get another room.... what a chaotic mess. Not very welcoming when I was exhausted to begin with and only wanting a nice clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast was minimal cold food and make your own waffles so I went to a fast food place to eat breakfast.

Filthy rooms. Stayed 3 nights. Bed was never once made. Clean tiwels only once and I had to go to office and ask for them. Waffle iron would not work for breakfast. Floors in hallways were never vacuumed . Everything was dirty. Peeling pai t on doors.

The ice machines did not work, the TV in our room did not work and there was a spider in the bed along w several cobwebs in the corners of the room. The staff did everything they could to help the situation but since we booked through hotels.com, we could not get a refund. We will not use hotels.com again.

Very dirty place... floors were dirty, sheets were dirty looked like someone already slept in the bed cause there was dirt and grass in betweenthe sheets at the bottom. my grandsons bed had a big hole in the mattress. Very dirty windows, would NOT recommend this place.

Was given a room on the busy street side so there was vehicle noises all the time so I left the air on. And then right after 6 AM and 7 AM I was woken up by pigeons that perch on the windows and make noise and tap the metal window frame With their claws. Middle window in room was completely full of condensation and ice even though it was warm out. Bed was comfortable and it was nice having four pillows. Got the bathroom with the handrails and then they put an office chair on rollers in the room which might not be good for people that need assistance moving around. Was the third cheapest place to stay at in town. If there was a next time I would try elsewhere. Other than the main street in town the others were dark. Not much for late night eating after 10 PM.

Got the bathroom with the handrails and then they put an office chair on rollers in the room which might not be good for people that need assistance moving around. Was the third cheapest place to stay at in town. If there was a next time I would try elsewhere. Other than the main street in town the others were dark. Not much for late night eating after 10 PM.

This is obviously an older property and is in need of updating. The bed was in a corner with the headboard and one side touching a wall so someone sleeping on the left side would have to climb over the other person to get in and out. There was only 1 lamp in the room (on the desk) it had only 1 bulb (the other was missing). No light anywhere near the sofa. No nightstand. Bathroom floor had some stain or residue on it. TV required a smart phone app to use (this may be standard now, but it was my first encounter with anything like this). I realize this is an economy property, but I've stayed at other Baymont hotels, and I honestly expected more from Wyndham.

Forgot to take a picture of the shower knob. About an inch gap between the wall & the knob. For the price I paid, I expected more. No desk or chair in the room either. The TV was on a stand that was bowed & was shorter than the height of the bed. Will not stay at another Baymont hotel again.

Only two rooms occupied on the entire 4th floor, mine and the pne next to me. All was good until 2.35am when the neighbors got home. Four of them were yelling like a Quaterback calling play in the Superbowl. Last an hour . I probably wont stay there again

Staff was great. The building was old with the sound of pigeons cooing me to sleep from the window ledge. The continental breakfast was acceptable. If you want fancy and neat. This in not for you. If you want a building, staff, and neighborhood with character, plus a little southern charm thrown in. This is the experience waiting for you. Remember to watch the barges and tugs lock through lock 19. Complete your adventure by visiting the 2nd hand store across the street. Then take your spoils from that store to the Antiques Roadshow to find out the what treasures you truly have 😉🤗

Putting LIPSTICK on a PIG!! I cannot believe this place is even in the wyndhams property. The front desk person Wyatt J was rude and a smart-ass. I asked him for a receipt and he asked me why did I need it??? Really??? Then the pet policy he would not give me a copy of but yet required me to sign it and when I asked him to give me a copy with his signature he said no I'm not giving you my autograph...... I had requested a bottom floor as I am disabled and have a registered service animal. He put me on the third floor. When I got up there the room was so covered in dust I could actually write my name in it. This place is a dump!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE BY ANY MEANS!!! I wish they would let me post the pictures I took of all the dirt, holes in the walls, stained carpets, and sheets....

I had a terrible time just trying to reach them to pre-sign in. I wasn't able to get there until 1 am. The room they gave me was completely unclean with the TV on and towels everywhere plus beds still dirty and undone from the previous occupant. Had to go back down to the front desk, track someone down and finally get another room.... what a chaotic mess. Not very welcoming when I was exhausted to begin with and only wanting a nice clean bed to sleep in. Breakfast was minimal cold food and make your own waffles so I went to a fast food place to eat breakfast.

The staff was very very friendly. And I understand that there is a transition happening. Our room's bathtub was not cleaned, there was numerous hairs in the tub. The outside windows were full of cobwebs and very dirty. The bed was very comfortable. I would still stay here again because I know the staff is working hard with the upgrades. Good and safe location.

Unfortunately road construction conditions made it noisier than usual I’m sure ,lot's of horn honking when people tried to visit the convenience store across the road Crumbs or something like that on the floor in the room A/C worked great, just loud Very welcoming lobby and common areas smelled fresh and clean! The staff was beyond phenomenal! Very friendly and even brought some pool toys out for my kids. The only thing that was disappointing was that our window was next to the main road and motorcyclists were so loud. The breakfast was basically cereal and the waffle maker, but we were also basically the only guests, so that's understandable. Would definitely stay again.

This property has the potential of being a wonderful hotel, but it has some issues that need attention. The common areas are dirty. The room was ok, but when I moved a table to try to find an outlet at bedside, I found lots of dust. When we drove in, there were some seedy looking guys loitering near where I parked. I felt unsafe. The surrounding area looks semi rundown. Everything in the room seemed to work and I got a good nights sleep. The room did not have a coffee maker and none was available in the lobby until about 5:30 AM. When it was made, there was no decaf. The attendant had to go to the basement to get some packets of coffee and made some. It turned out to be very weak. The breakfast choices were very limited, which I understand is the Baymont model, but I stayed at a different Baymont the night before and had more selection. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the swimming pool is excellent. It is a large indoor pool, I was able to swim short laps for my usual 30-minute swim. As a result of my two nights at Baymont's, I will try to remember NOT to use them again.

The kids loved the pool. Hallways and lobby were so cold could not eat or visit because of being too cold. Parking lot is pretty dirty and could hear yelling out back at night almost all night, not on the property but close. Staff is excellent and very friendly and so helpful. Pool water was warm and very clean.

Hands down the filthiest hotel I’ve ever slept in. I wish I had taken photos of the table in the room with grease and crumbs, the melted ice cream and soda rings in the mini fridge and what the washcloths looked like after I wiped off the nightstand and washed the sticky floor between the beds. If there was anything good, it was how quickly and how willing the apologetic worker was when she brought up new sheets, after I discovered the grass and yellow spots in one bed, black curlies in another, mascara on a pillowcase, and black stains on another set (hair dye maybe). I did get pictures of the missing parts of the door locks, bathroom floors, cigarette on the floor in the breakfast area, the spiderweb on my light fixture and the filthy bathtub. Breakfast was considerably lacking. Waffle batter came out like water. There were no bagels, fruit, and a strange taste in the apple juice. And the pool was shut down by the health department. My very patient, kind and tolerant father stated this hotel was a “disappointment all around,” which might be the understatement of the year.

I still find a place near where we were going. The rooms did not feel clean, the toilet moved when you sat on it and was very dirty behind it. Caulking in the shower, etc., was needing replacing. The pool was closed and breakfast was very minimal with no options besides sugar and carbs. It was a fine basic hotel but we would probably not return if there were other options.

First, the front desk gave us a key for the wrong room. I know it was for the wrong room because my wife tried the one that we guessed the key was for, based on some contradictory statements from the front desk. Second, the room, including the bedding, was filthy. We pulled back the comforter and discovered dead bugs, dirt, and lots and lots of hair on the sheets. The bathroom was also dirty and had hair everywhere. Third, the breakfast options consisted of watered-down waffle batter and I don't know what else... There wasn't much, though. We're also pretty sure that some other guests were cooking meth in their room, but that's just speculation. However, they had A LOT of ingredients in some grocery bags... We were scheduled to stay three nights, but left after one because the conditions were so terrible. Don't stay here. Drive an extra 30 minutes and spend the extra money to stay anywhere but here.

We have stayed here in the past. The rooms are clean and comfortable! The staff is excellent and friendly . We don't use the pool area but it looks nice and clean. The breakfast is adequate. Honestly, the only thing I care about is coffee and theirs is fresh and quite good! We will b back.

Got there and they had over booked though we had reservations. They found a room that looked like it was under construction as it had dirtiness on floor that stuck to your feet. It also had a bed a tv and a fridge nothing else. It was late so we just slept and would deal with it in The morning. Breakfast was carbs. They had waffles, bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt and oatmeal. We asked for another room as ours was subpar. The new room had funiture but A/C didn’t work great so it was warm all night. The next day found hair stuck to wall in shower next to an old hairy bar of soap. At this point we just gave up! Will not be staying here again.

This hotel is a great value for the price! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the free breakfast was good. I saw other reviews that rooms weren't clean, but my room was spotless!

For an older hotel it was nice. It had a great breakfast. Good price for the room. Nice big lobby that we used to visit with a local cousin. I would stay here again.
For an older hotel it was nice. It had a great breakfast. Good price for the room. Nice big lobby that we used to visit with a local cousin. I would stay here again.

This hotel needs to be redone. Top to bottom. The first room we were given wasn’t even cleaned from the last guest. Like, completely undone. The second room we were given was covered in dirt and dust and dead insects and mystery stains on the bedding. We almost left after that, but we were kinda stuck without other options and since we booked third party through hotels.com, they couldn’t refund our money. The third room they gave us was clean and we decided to stick it out, but the cast of revolving locals and guests didn’t really make us feel great so we never left valuables in the room and we slept with theft deterrents. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and very willing to help (ironically) and for that I was thankful. The pool was being worked on, but honestly you couldn’t have paid me enough to use it even if it were available. The breakfast area looked ok but we didn’t chance that either. The carpets in the hallway need replacing, and the walls need repainting and the windows need to be replaced as well. But we survived. I wouldn’t stay here again though, and I won’t be booking with a third party website again because getting a refund is a huge pain, and you just don’t know until you see it firsthand.
