Engadine Inn and Cabins

Upon getting settled into the property for a 3-day stay, we found a spider inside a pillowcase & ants around the kitchen garbage can. Being a cabin we took it lightly. Until my wife laid in bed with our daughter and was bitten to what we looked up as potential fleas. We immediately contacted our property liaison. After waiting for approximately 40 minutes, we opted to seek a clean and safer accommodations. We finally received notification by property ownership the next day and were told to contact Hotel.com for a refund. Though it was 49-minutes to an hour that we stayed on the property, the experience there and after with ownership was horrendous.

The cabin was very clean. I suggested some lights for people arriving in the dark as the drive up to the cabin was very dark. We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historical home. The staff were friendly with the perfect balance of being accessible without being intrusive. The star of breakfast was a delicious homemade quiche. An assortment of standard breakfast fare was also available.

Nice property, staff was nice and attentive when we first arrived, but didn’t see them much during our stay. Would have liked to have had the coffee bar refreshed and more water bottles available. The free alcohol and cigars was a nice added touch.
