Our stay overall was great. Hotel has s good location, staff are nice but service needs improvement. They seem short staffed or not very organized. Our floor was kind of noisy. I do not re command this hotel for families and although nice the rooms are small. Pool area is very tight also.

My room was utterly flawless, as was the service. The Edition doesn't take you for granted. You really do get the quality that you expect for the price. Kudos to the staff and also to the on-site bar options! I'll be going back again for sure! Highly recommended!

Top notch hotel. Don’t miss the rooftop for a drink. Exceptional employees all around, they really cared about the clientele staying there. Room was fantastic as was the market next door for pastries and lattes. I highly recommend this hotel.

I just yesterday left this delightful property ideally perched on the Gothic Quarter and found my stay relaxed, well cared for, in excellent surroundings, a delightful and observant staff and a choice I would make again in a heartbeat. As with many top tier properties the staff is what sends it over the top. Speaking of, make sure to check out the rooftop which is fantastic if open and the Punch Room with its selection of light fare, long list of Punches and other libations. First floor restaurant, room service and both venues mentioned served consistently top notch fare with multiple options. Not inexpensive. But you feel you get what you paid for. A good place to stay based on my experience. The service feels sort of akin to a Four Seasons. A compliment I would not often make.

Lovely rooftop terrace and wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Would have liked a kettle with tea and coffee options and not just an espresso machine. Location is perfect with many dining options and great shopping. Amazing vegan and vegetarian options nearby. Would definitely return.

The staff was incredible!!!!!! They were so kind and easy to work with. They helped us with tour tickets, lining up cars, and great recommendations for dining! The view from the hotels upstairs bar and pool were incredible. Loved it and will be going back again!!!!

Echt een prima hotel, een aanrader dus. Enige ‘minpuntje’ dat ons opviel, de lichten in de lift en gangen zijn wel heel donker afgesteld, maar dat is een futiliteit natuurlijk.

I'd like to say that I really enjoyed my stay here. Room was not very spacious (for it really is not a big hotel) but very clean and nice, we loved the window cubby couch thingy. The bathroom was really nice too, and the Le Labo amenities were very delightful. Staff are very welcoming and willing to help much, in-room dining food were good too. The only issue I had was that the walls were not really soundproof, and so I could hear when ppl in rooms nearby moved their chair or threw bags to the floor.

Hello, I recently stayed at Barcelona Edition. We booked 2 rooms, one for myself and for my parents to celebrate their 50th year anniversary. Based on my previous experience staying at the Edition hotels and being a loyal Marriot Bonvoy member, I convinced my parents to stay there the last 5 nights of their European trip. They couldnt sleep from the noise from above floor the first night and notified the hotel and they promised to change their room which never happened! Instead they brought them some cookies!! The towels in the room were dirty and smelly and hotel was notified also. We spent over $1000 for each room per night which is not exactly cheap, but the experience turned out to be an awful one for my parents and I at their 50th year anniversary. We repeatedly mentioned to the hotel and they are not happy with the room and noise and the overall experience but they barely did anything. I’m extremely disappointed with the whole experience and bringing my parents there and regret the decision to book Edition Barcelona.

What a nightmare this stay was. We arrived in our room which looks different to the internet pictures. It was small room as in tiny and needed some TLC. We had a balcony which was very noisy. I spoke to management regarding the room and they told me that they would upgrade me the next day. So in the following morning we packed again ready to see the new room and hopefully move rooms. I was told at reception that the new room was not ready but when we return in the afternoon we could see the room. On our return I found out that they had already moved our bags into the new room and had resold our booked room to someone else. After seeing the new room I was very upset. The new room had no balcony and was a substantial down grade. I companied and demanded we go back to the room I had booked and paid for. This request was refused by the manager as they had booked another person in our original room. Completely ruined our holiday as we had to then find another hotel. Do Not Book This Hotel.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, very beautiful, modern, and with friendly staff. The rooms are not very spacious, but they were extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel’s fragrance is also amazing. The only downside was the breakfast team, who seemed confused and less friendly. Other than that, everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

We repeatedly mentioned to the hotel and they are not happy with the room and noise and the overall experience but they barely did anything. I’m extremely disappointed with the whole experience and bringing my parents there and regret the decision to book Edition Barcelona.

Our stay overall was great. Hotel has s good location, staff are nice but service needs improvement. They seem short staffed or not very organized. Our floor was kind of noisy. I do not re command this hotel for families and although nice the rooms are small. Pool area is very tight also.

My room was utterly flawless, as was the service. The Edition doesn't take you for granted. You really do get the quality that you expect for the price. Kudos to the staff and also to the on-site bar options! I'll be going back again for sure! Highly recommended!

I just yesterday left this delightful property ideally perched on the Gothic Quarter and found my stay relaxed, well cared for, in excellent surroundings, a delightful and observant staff and a choice I would make again in a heartbeat. Speaking of, make sure to check out the rooftop which is fantastic if open and the Punch Room with its selection of light fare, long list of Punches and other libations. First floor restaurant, room service and both venues mentioned served consistently top notch fare with multiple options. Not inexpensive. But you feel you get what you paid for. I felt the Edition had a very helpful staff. They were very friendly and went out of their way to help us when we needed something. We had the unfortunate accident I’m having someone in our group being pickpocketed in Barcelona. The staff was not only compassionate, but very helpful and providing us directions and any kind of services. We needed to support us. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean and well kept. Neighborhood was quiet so I did not hear noise late at night. Roof top bar is amazing and great place to chill in the afternoon or go up with your laptop and get some work done while sipping on some nice wine. Right next to The Cathedral so it was a great place for me to grab a morning coffee and walk around or listen to the street musicians.

Lovely rooftop terrace and wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Would have liked a kettle with tea and coffee options and not just an espresso machine. Location is perfect with many dining options and great shopping. Amazing vegan and vegetarian options nearby. Would definitely return.

I'd like to say that I really enjoyed my stay here. Room was not very spacious (for it really is not a big hotel) but very clean and nice, we loved the window cubby couch thingy. The bathroom was really nice too, and the Le Labo amenities were very delightful. Staff are very welcoming and willing to help much, in-room dining food were good too. The only issue I had was that the walls were not really soundproof, and so I could hear when ppl in rooms nearby moved their chair or threw bags to the floor.

Top notch hotel. Don’t miss the rooftop for a drink. Exceptional employees all around, they really cared about the clientele staying there. Room was fantastic as was the market next door for pastries and lattes. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise, very beautiful, modern, and with friendly staff. The rooms are not very spacious, but they were extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel’s fragrance is also amazing. The only downside was the breakfast team, who seemed confused and less friendly. Other than that, everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

The property and the staff are 5 stars we really enjoyed everything about it and the location is great close to everything Room service was always perfect with the food and delivery we had a patio room witch had amazing views and a relaxing place to unwind or eat breakfast o can’t say enough about the staff being so helpful and kind we had some good conversations as well can’t forget the roof top for drinks and amazing views this hotel and staff made our vacation wonderful and would recommend to others as well would stay again if had the opportunity

We had a great stay at Barcelona EDITION. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way helping us to find a place for dinner and making the reservation for us. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely be back!

An expensive & optimistic trip to Barcelona turned into a nightmare making me never want to visit the country of Spain in general. My first day, I was recommended by the “concierge” of this supposedly upscale hotel a restaurant when I asked to eat at a nice steakhouse similar to what I’m used to at home in the Washington DC area. He recommended 1881 Sagardi by the pier. I go dressed in a modest black one piece jumpsuit & Birkenstock slides. Nothing was ever mentioned about a dress code or anything of the sort. I get there & I’m turned away for the bogus reason that I was wearing “athletic gear”. Shocked but I obliged because that’s their right to have such policy. I come back my last night in Barcelona day dressed in a maxi dress & they say I can’t have tapas at the bar because it’s a private event. I then ask to be seated for dinner. They say the kitchen is closed. It was around 10:30pm and the place didn’t close until midnight. At this point, I knew what was going on. If I had read their reviews I wouldn’t have even bothered. They were simply looking for any excuse to deny me service because they do not like tourists (xenophobia) & racism. My hotel sent me to a place known for bigotry & it ruined my entire experience. I am holding them accountable as they sent me there. But I should have known better as the concierge also gave me incorrect directions everyday! Leaving me to rely on Google Maps and getting lost.
