Quality Inn Suwanee I-85

The hotel overall was decent for what we needed it for. The door to our room,was a bit hard to open and close. The curtains fell a bit short to be closed so we had to pin them with a safety pin. Everything else in the room was decent. The breakfast was good and replenished as needed. The morning that staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The pool area didn’t need to be clean, but it was debris from the nearby tree so that wasn’t too bad. There was full access. A good sleep for the two nights we went there.

I do not understand how franchise/licenses of hotel brands work - but it appears like there is no quality control/reviews by comfort inn on properties because I can’t see how they would be OK with this one Ease of reservation on Expedia and simplicity at check in at hotel are the only reason this property received a 2 Carpets in room were old and felt dirty to the point where I did not take my shoes off the whole time I was there The room smelled musty and the AC unit would not run continuously, but would could come on and off, which made the room sticky and had an odor to it For the price was not expecting Hilton/Marriott level place but - I was in a first floor unit that had a crack in the ceiling from one side to the other The sink had a spider crack in it as well When the people next-door were turning on the light switches, I could hear the clicking The shower had mold in the grout- it went unused The toilet did not flush I arrived after 10:30 PM, or I likely would’ve tried to find another hotel - problem is with the storm that came through. Everything was sold out. If I had no other place to go, I might stay here, but it wasn’t a very good experience- not through the fault of the check in person, but the owners of this property, who obviously do not invest in it I rarely write negative reviews but it is shocking to me how others can give a 10 out of 10 for this hotel unless the room I stayed in was the only one that was this bad.

The property looks old

Everything was great and I could about walk to food or whatever if I wanted too. Pool 9am-9pm and breakfast 6am-9am, staff were nice. If I had anything bad to say it would be that you can hear a bit through the doors and my DoorDash had issues with the address because the hotel next to it have the same address location and I had problems with the other hotel about it other then that everything was great.

Only thing I wish they had would be cameras around the property because it be dark at some parts of The building

The room we had, the carpeting was dirty with burn marks on it and other stains. It was thread bare in high traffic areas so you could see the backing. Some stains on the bed cover of one bed but the other one was OK and we slept in that one. A piece of the laminate molding was missing from a furniture cabinet and they had painted it dark brown to kind of blend in, but looked tacky to us. Towels and face cloths were good and soft. Sink faucet was funky and was hard to get from hot to cold water. If all the rooms were like this one in this building, they are in major need of refurbishing. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Rooms are cleaned out pretty much every day; clean linen and towels are always provided. On my first night I thought I would be giving a bad review due to the room smelling like cigarettes, but by our second day the smell was out. It was probably due to guests not following the “NO SMOKING” policy. As for roaches… I saw none; there were beetles trying to come in the room, one came in but it was because my door was wide opened. The bathrooms are a little old fashioned, but still good with no issues. There is an amazing ice machine and laundry on site. Breakfast was 10/10!!! Location is perfect, it is near to major highways, back roads, and restaurants. I had a great experience, though I didn’t get a chance to try out the pool. Thank You!!!!

Hotel was in a good area, right off the interstate. It was decent hotel for the age of it. Convenient for the time i needed it.

The room was dirty and run down feeling, very out dated, sink cabinet was broken, hair dryer didn’t work, bathroom door didn’t lock, rust around the front door, sheets were old, rug was very worn down. It was very late and we did not have it in us to change hotels. We had a 2nd night booked which we did not keep, and we went to another hotel. Tried to get refunded for the 2nd night and we are still awaiting word and haven’t heard anything. Would commend not to stay here.

The location was convenient, close to shopping, and restaurants. The cleaning lady never came to our room, we had to go to the front desk to change our towels, the washer and dryer were out of order, and the hot water made a loud grinding noise when turned on. We dumped our own trash and the cleaning lady was very rude to my son-in-law, when he asked for clean towels. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in and they wanted to charge $50 dollars to check in 30 minutes early. The blanket looked as if it had not been washed since the hotel opened. You need to purchase new towels.

I always visit here, but for whatever reason, this visit, the tub was absolutely disgusting as if it wasn't properly cleaned; hair everywhere!

Blood stain was left on one of the towels. The rest was dingy. Human hair on bed sheets, the lock wouldn't work, didn't feel safe. Felt like the red roof Inn which i declined staying in based on appearance.

Place is ok to stay one nigh if you dont have other option, smelly, dirty carpet, bathroon door would not close, caulckin with mildew in the shower, bathroom sink with mildew, weird pillows, broken ulpostery, very poor variety for breakfast, broken juice machine. On top of that, found empty beer bottles and trash under my car in the parking lot, like if people was eating and driking in the parking lot.

The room they gave me had roaches, and was dirty i asked to switch to another room and the other room didnt have no A/c. Terrible hotel very dirty will not stay here ever again.

The room was not properly cleaned before i checked in . There was trash on the floor next to the fridge and only 3 tissues in the box. As well as what appeared to be mold on the wall by the fridge .

They kept the rooms clean while we were there! When we went for an outing and came back the room was just like it was when we first arrived. Great location and staff was really nice! I will definitely book again!

We wanted a non-smoking king room in the whole room smelled like smoke. There were also cigarette burns on the comforter.

The property is in need off a upgrade beds are uncomfortable and for the high way price it was not worth it. Thr only good thing waffles

Waited for hotel clerk, no one by the front desk. Given a room that hasn't been clean yet.

I have to say i stayed here for around 45 days and its not cheap for the quality of the hotel at around 120 perday , any how everything was ok until it wasn’t reception’s and management super rude and discriminatory… i filed a complaint and got asked to leave for doing so

Staff at from desk was very rude to me and gave me the wrong room and gave another guest the same room as me that entered the room while I was there. It was not pleasant.

Checked in Friday and checked out Monday. My whole stay the room wasn’t cleaned the trash was filled, the iron wasn’t working called the desk waited for an hour no one came. Called again and complained then someone came

Front desk very friendly. Clen rooms, Hot water, lttle noisy early in morning.

Nice hotel without all the extras . Good for a quick visit. Convenient to fast food, restaurants in gas stations as well as the mall.

I like location near by everything for dinning and shopping.

This is a really nice property with clean and comfortable rooms. I didn’t understand why the room clerk would want a credit card for ‘incidentals’ since the refrigerator wasn’t stocked with anything. The big problem with the location is that while it’s near I85 it can take as much as 10-15 min to get there from the highway due to intense traffic congestion.

For the price it was a decent hotel. Needs a little work, but nothing that bothered me. Except the sink facet was loose. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Nicely surprised that they cleaned the room after the 1st night. Most hotels now just clean every 2 - 3 days. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was OK. 2nd day we went out for breakfast.

Great morning breakfast as well

The staff on the property was friendly. The breakfast was "The Bomb" because they had a great selection like turkey sausage, omelletes, waffles, and a variety of juices with coffee. The room suited our need to have some place to sleep. It was a little dated with dirty carpet, but no smell. There was another problem that I won\'t put on here to give a bad review. Our overall stay was good without interruptions or noise.

The beds had hair all over them on the sheets and pillow cases the towels and wash cloths had what it looked to be pubic hair! The receptionist didn’t offer another room or new sheets & towels when I asked she said our stay is only for one night that she could not offer new room or sheets. The breakfast tastes expired the milk tasted spoiled! Overall DISGUSTING is the best way to describe the room and hotel overall I can’t believe this hotel is still open!
