MainStay Suites Moreno Valley Near March Air Reserve Base

Staff was great very helpful. Just felt little unsafe due to a lot of transits walking or riding their bikes in the parking lot. Had to sit in my car till staff came out to run them off. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Will try them again when in returning for business needs.

The property was very nice and clean. The room was very nice king size bed and a small little kitchen with pots and pans so I could cook my own meal. It was very quiet at night, just a very nice overall experience. I will definitely go back there again. We also had a nice swim in the pool since it was over a hundred degrees while we were there

We booked this stay for 2 nights as the photos and reviews seem promising. We were looking forward to a stress-free staycation. The check-in process was ok. But then the elevator happened. We were given a room at the second floor so we had to use the only elevator they had an dit wasn’t working. It would sometimes but not always, so it wasn’t reliable. The manager apologized and handled it but we didn’t hide our disappointment. So next thing we know, they cancelled the upcoming bookings for that evening and moved us to a room on the ground floor. this room had better arrangement than the one in the 2nd flr. Then it was good. Lastly, they should invest on a pool vacuum to keep the pool clean. Also, we were woken up by the loud noise of the lawnmower and blower at 9 in the morning on a Saturday. And I don’t know if I’ll consider it cleaning when the guy was just blowing it off to the road. Basically moving the dirt from one place to another is not cleaning. The hotel had a lot of work done but still has a lot of opportunities. It can only get better. For the price, it wasn’t bad. But I wouldn’t mind paying more if that means the elevator is working, we won’t be woken up by a lawnmower, and the pool will be kept clean. We cleaned the pool ourselves when we went for a swim twice. Oh! The towels! It’s really old, smelly, and shedding. Please, replace them. Thanks.

Our hotel stay was wonderful. Checkout was extremely fast. The only thing I wished they had was an elevator. We were on the 3rd floor and had to carry up heavy luggage.

Very cozy and well kept. 24 hr access to laundry room was very convenient!

I had a previous reservation at another hotel I had canceled that one to stay at the mainstay because it had a pool, but getting there and seeing the pool it was dirty, dirty to were I did not let my kids go in it . On top of that I came to stay at a hotel to get away and to sleep in but that didn’t happen my husband came from work at 2am woke up at 8am because landscaping came and was doing the yard work an not only that since she put us on the bottom right by the icemaker and vending machine people were hanging around there talking so it wasn’t a good experience .

Had a great stay, only complaint was the tiny pool towels and when we asked for additional towels to shower, we were given the small pool towels. But the room was nice and clean. The staff were pleasant and parking area was easy and near the room we were assigned to.

The room itself was ok. Had a musty smell but it was clean. Outside was a whole other story. Transient people sleeping in their cars, dirty parking lot and lots of noise. There were people fighting and you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. I didn’t it feel safe at this place, they need security!

Hotel was under construction and stuff everywhere doors didn’t even lock old furniture thrown outside and also a lot of homeless people and drug addicts walking through parking lot and hotel very horrible stay wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

We enjoyed the room, we enjoyed the pool. We tried to go through the back door after we got back from visiting family and it’s not accessible from the outside. We were not aware and weren’t informed. Those outside stairs have been cleaned up in a while.

Very clean and comfortable

Bathroom was dirty. Walls had stain of what looked to be menstruation blood. SIdeboards dirty. Shower had pubic hairs. Floors were not clean, once again hairs found. Constant noise from an ac unit turning off and on was what it sounded like...my ac was not on. Door that leads outside slams very hard and is very loud. Hardly any ammenities are offered; shampoo conditioner soap coffee, etc.

My review is based on a 4 night stay. Check in was easy. The room was not cleaned. Floor was not mopped or swept. Headboard had hand prints still on it and stains.we found a candy wrapper in back of the night stand.the soda that was smelled and had obvious stains we did ask for a full room service. The lady took 1:30 to do it and it was not cleaned at all !! We stayed outside of our room for nothing it was so upsetting the low stardard cleaning expectations here.

The rooms were super clean I mean really nice just so we're doing there for almost normal size or you could actually put food in the freezer the staff was very friendly in the pool was clean overall I did a 10 out of 10

Filthy hotel, doesn’t look anything like the website. Our room, especially the bathroom was disgusting looked like it Hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. Buildup in the shower, in the sink and along the baseboards. There was only one set of towels for two People for a weekend. The towels had stains and felt like sand paper. When we asked for more they said they were out of hand towels. We asked for a late checkout someone knocked on the door then proceeded to enter with a key while we were in bed. The area it’s in is sketch at nighttime. Would not recommend.

The checkin was easy and the room was modern and clean. Also, the room has a midsize frig, microwave and an electric stove. My family and I would definitely stay here again

It was a nice stay besides the fact that I walked around for 10 minutes in my room and my feet were BLACK. Definitely needs a deeper clean on the floors

The room was dirty. There were hair strands in the towels in the bathroom and in the bed. It seemed like they were not changed from the previous guest. Staff was polite and courteous.

The room that I first got into way very dirty, there was hair on the comforter and around the room in random places. The chairs in the room were dirty and covered in stains. There was some damage to the room and even the headboard was unscrewed from the wall. The place just felt gross. I ended up moving rooms and the second room was better but the floor felt dirty I kept my socks on and when I looked at them they had dirt and grim on the bottom. The door was hard to open I had to throw my body against it to get the key to work because just it unlocking with the key was not enough. I almost could not get in at one point and had to push against it four times before it opened. The boot on of the front door and bathroom door was peeling up and there was a big hole in one of the closet doors. I know some things they cannot help because some people do not care about rooms they stay in but it could have been cleaner.

Recently renovated with good sized rooms and close to UC Riverside campus. Very corporate and starting to get a little rough on the non-critical details of care: TV remote needed to be changed, fitted sheets were replaced with flat sheets, sliding shower door was usable, but missing the handle. Great location, good price, and felt safe

I didn’t like being lower level next to parking lot with a very weak window. I asked to move and they could not accommodate. Doors don’t shut properly, just didn’t feel safe and would not stay again.

Room was absolutely incredible. Location is wonderful. Super close to a mall and some food spots. I was honestly blown away this was not a 5 star hotel until I spoke to the staff. I had a minor issue with the staff while my mom had 2 terrible experiences of the staff being both unhelpful and extremely unkind. However, the room itself was insanely clean and pristine. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and we were wowed by the comfort of the beds and the shower/water pressure. The only other “complaint” is that the room is a bit loud but I truly think if you have earplugs, you’ll be fine. I would absolutely stay here again!

Door would not lock, the cabinets had a hole in the door panel above the sink, the hallway smelled like smoke from marijuana, lots of conversational noise easily heard in the main hallway and through the walls.

I think their room was very nice even nicer than the Hilton standard bedroom in Hawaiis Waikoloa Village, which is an extremely nice hotel with no kitchen!!!

I got the room with the hot tub but the hot tub didn't work.

The room was fine. The view we had was a wall. It was very noisy. We could hear everything happening around us. The family upstairs was very loud and their tv was on most of the night. You can hear anyone talking in the halls. The bed was comfortable and kitchen was clean.

TVs seem to all have connections issues.

Very nice rooms, spacious and modern. Also very clean and great stuff. For example, the beds are comfortable, the giant hot tub in the rooms are great, the little wine cooler near the hot tub with the glasses were perfect, fridge has a freezer, electric stove top with pots pans and utensils, large microwave, huge TVs in the living room and bedroom, nice balcony furniture and a nice shower.

When we arrived, the door to our room was broken and wouldn’t open, causing a significant delay and ultimately making us late for the event we were attending. Once we finally got inside, we expected to enjoy the suite we had booked—one that was supposed to include a nice balcony and jacuzzi for a comfortable stay. However, not only was there no balcony, but the jacuzzi didn’t even work. I am extremely disappointed with how poorly managed our stay was. I sincerely hope no one else has to experience these same issues.

Worst customer service

The moment I checked in everything was smooth. Front desk staff is friendly. Housekeepers were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Check out process was smooth. Will recommend as I have booked for future events

Home stay suite employees are the worst group of employees. And managers attitude wasn’t any better l would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through California. Very disappointed unprofessional especially with Jasmine and Diana. We travel a lot and l know good customer service. This place is not that, hated we crossed their paths. If they never been taught this ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!!!!? Need to go back to training they even refused to allow me to talk to a supervisor. Had to get a refund and look for another hotel. If you check reviews beware of this hotel in Moreno Cali. BAD BUSINESS!!!

Easy and quick check in and out. Great service!

First off, when we checked in the girl was RUDE! And thats putting it nice. That should have been our first sign to leave. The room was dusty like it hadnt been cleaned in forever. Once we checked in we stood there for a couple of hours then headed to work. Got back to the room in the evening with dinner we sat at the table, as we were eating roaches started coming out. They were on the wall right next to the table, we hurried up and ate as we were gathering our stuff to leave more started coming out they were on the shelves right next to the bed, and under the fridge it was disgusting!!! And to top it of they were babies so you know there was tons more!! WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! And they state they are a no smoking, as soon as we entering the hall to our room inside there was a very stong smell of weed coming from one of the rooms. When we got there it smelled, when we left it smelled, when we got back in the evening it smelled and whne we finally left it smelled.

I have never Stig at all hotel/motel that had such excellent customer service. Every staff member has been incredibly nice, professional, and courteous. I am an operations manager, and whoever is running this hotel here in Moreno Valley has done an excellent job and pause training and follow through. Good for you homestay I will never stay anywhere else while on work assignments thank you.

we did not get checked into our room till 5 PM. The lady at the front desk was very rude to us. I understand that they were very short staffed, but she could’ve been nicer. She kept cutting me off every time. I was trying to talk to her check-in was at 3 PM. We did not get our hotel room till 5 PM and we were late to our event.

From the night of check in, she had an attitude and also the girl at checkout. They charged me 40.00 for one dirty small towel. And the reason for that was,it was the floor. The floor wasn't clean but since we were in a rush due to a funeral. I didn't have the time to argue. But if i did i would've showned them how dirty those floors were. And for one small hand towel. Seriously, 40 dollars. I could've taken them to the washer and wash it for less than 40. Smh. I hope the manager sees this cause thats too much money for one dirty hand towel due to the floor being dirty.

Great stay for the weekend! Very spacious rooms that were clean and had everything needed! Great service at front desk and they were able to accommodate me during my early check in.

My son has stayed here quite a bit over the past few months. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. However, this past 4 day stay, the hot water was out. Upon check in, he was informed of the situation and told that he could cancel the reservation. He goes to school in the area and did not know what to do, so he stayed, hoping that the issue would be resolved; it wasn't. How does a hotel stay open for an extended amount of time with no hot water? No discount, refund or placement at another hotel was offered.

easy access to freeway and close to shipping center

I enjoy staying at this hotel very much. It is very cozy! My favorite hotel to stay when I visit my daughter who is in college. It's clean and smells very nice. Walking distance to some restaurants and stores. Short distance to Riverside. The only thing I don't enjoy much is the noise from the freeway next to it. All the staff is very nice and friendly. I recommended 100 %.

The property was centrally located to food, shopping and other attractions. then room was clean and inviting. I would stay there again.

The place was definitely clean and the service was great at the front desk (24-hours too, great for late comers or early risers). One note: it is off the highway so there is some level of noise from that but nothing unbearable, but to note for those that cannot sleep with noise. The area is great because it’s right off the highway so easy access to most places and food and shopping 3-5 minutes away. Overall pleasant stay.

Centrally located and close to main shops, restaurants like Starbucks, Raising Cane, Walmart and Target. Friendly staff and clean. Safe neighborhood.

Everything and everyone was wonderful staff, service and housekeeping. Only downside was no breakfast but also there was a kitchen inside the room. Lol and the noise due to highway but it wasn’t as bad either. Would definitely return for another stay💜

This is a really nice hotel with a very useful Kitchenette fully equipped with pots and pans, plates and silverware. The beds are comfortable and comfy. We love to stay her because it is a good deal for the price.

I like the set up of kitchenette. It helped my stay. Housekeeping is great! Staff is helpful. Will stay longer next time.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with 24 hour Front Desk staff. I loved the rooms had kitchen facilities, microwave and large refrigerator/freezer in the room. Nice large flatscreen TV. Suggestion for room improvement there were no closets or armoires to hang anything and only one chair in the room. WiFi was free but the connectivity was hit or miss, seems like it spent more time buffering then connected.

I loved the kitchenette. It felt homie and we were able to cook our own meals. We had everything we needed dishes. Utensils, even the pots and pans were provided

Nice clean modern room. The shower is beautiful. It has a microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, and sink. Close to the mall and highway. I will be staying here again next time.

Was a little concerned about the price until I sampled the service and the room. Both were excellent. Loved the kitchen.

If you are looking for fancy keep going. If you are looking for a good price and comfy bed then this is the place. I had a King Deluxe room and the room was huge with a kitchenette with pots, pans, utinsels and a couple of plates. They could have fit another bed in there. The amenities also include a blow dryer and iron. Theres no breakfast. The building is dated and Im guessing was a fancy extended stay hotel with kitchenettes at one time. I would stay again. It was half the price of a dumpy Motel 6 a few miles away. The Add Photo button wouldnt work for me. 😣
