We had a lovely stay. The room was huge with a balcony, where we watched the sunset every evening. It was clean and modern. The hotel has a private beach that is only accessible by hotel elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful and even made sure we had a car transfer to the Napoli train station super early in the morning. The town itself is not very touristy, so it's quiet but not many restaurant and shopping options but it is just 15 minutes from Sorrento by train. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. Make sure you have money to beach towels, chairs and umbrellas as all are a separate charge. The beach was amazing though. Rooms cleaned daily and staff at restaurants were great.

Great hotel, great room, amazing sea view from the room. The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good.The hotel has a lift that gives access to a quiet beach… the city itself is less touristy than other cities nearby which was great for us. I would love to go again. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stunning location with breathtaking views. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was traveling on my own so the option of half board (dinner + breakfast) was perfect. All the meals were fresh, local, and delicious. My room was clean, had a/c which was easy to control, and was very comfortable for the week. The direct lift to the beach below was easy and quick and the beach was perfect after a long day of exploring the region. Guided trips to Pompeii and other sites can be arranged by the hotel if needed. But really, with sea views and the perfect little beach on your doorstep, Cocktails on the terrace (try the Hugo Spritz) why would you want to leave?

Hotel do midi is in a gorgeous location overlooking the water. The view from my sea from my sea front room was beautiful I could stare at it all night. Very convenient having the beach club right downstairs as well. My room however was quiet noisy as I could hear a lot of drum bling through the air vents.

Never close to a 4 star..outdated... old furniture...our room was divided with the next one by a door so thin that we could hear everything they were saying,same for them....plastic hangers,one different from the other...a/c impossibile to regulate...shower door impossibile to open if the bathroom door is it as well,they colide...over par breakfast...forget it

Hotel Sporting was a top notch hotel with incredibly detail oriented and passionate staff. They don’t let you lift a finger! From the extensive breakfast to the breathtaking views, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our upgrade to a balcony view was stunning and made such a difference. Everyone should come try out Vico Equense and Hotel Sporting to get a real taste of the coast without the crowds.

Hotel Sporting was a top notch hotel with incredibly detail oriented and passionate staff. They don’t let you lift a finger! From the extensive breakfast to the breathtaking views, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our upgrade to a balcony view was stunning and made such a difference. Good location; friendly, helpful staff. Hotel could use a little updating. Shower was hard to get in and out of. Was in a bathtub and wasn't covered by anything halfway of bathtub so shower sprayed all over bathroom unless you directed into the wall. Overall nice hotel to stay at for our 3 nights.

Our stay at Hotel Sporting was a wonderful experience. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful coastline and adding a special touch to every morning and evening. The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. What really stood out was the staff — they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their kindness made us feel right at home. Overall, Hotel Sporting is a perfect choice for anyone visiting Vico Equense. Between the stunning views, spotless rooms, and warm hospitality, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The views were amazing and the staff were very kind, polite and welcoming. A special thanks to all the restaurant staff who were genuinely keen to ensure we had a great time and enjoyed our meals. We would definitely go back again and recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

We had a lovely stay. The room was huge with a balcony, where we watched the sunset every evening. It was clean and modern. The hotel has a private beach that is only accessible by hotel elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful and even made sure we had a car transfer to the Napoli train station super early in the morning. The town itself is not very touristy, so it's quiet but not many restaurant and shopping options but it is just 15 minutes from Sorrento by train. Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel, great room, amazing sea view from the room. The staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was good.The hotel has a lift that gives access to a quiet beach… the city itself is less touristy than other cities nearby which was great for us. I would love to go again. Hotel do midi is in a gorgeous location overlooking the water. The view from my sea from my sea front room was beautiful I could stare at it all night. Very convenient having the beach club right downstairs as well. My room however was quiet noisy as I could hear a lot of drum bling through the air vents.

Never close to a 4 star..outdated... old furniture...our room was divided with the next one by a door so thin that we could hear everything they were saying,same for them....plastic hangers,one different from the other...a/c impossibile to regulate...shower door impossibile to open if the bathroom door is it as well,they colide...over par breakfast...forget it

Hotel Sporting was a top notch hotel with incredibly detail oriented and passionate staff. They don’t let you lift a finger! From the extensive breakfast to the breathtaking views, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our upgrade to a balcony view was stunning and made such a difference. Everyone should come try out Vico Equense and Hotel Sporting to get a real taste of the coast without the crowds.

Stunning location with breathtaking views. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was traveling on my own so the option of half board (dinner + breakfast) was perfect. All the meals were fresh, local, and delicious. My room was clean, had a/c which was easy to control, and was very comfortable for the week. The direct lift to the beach below was easy and quick and the beach was perfect after a long day of exploring the region. Guided trips to Pompeii and other sites can be arranged by the hotel if needed. But really, with sea views and the perfect little beach on your doorstep, Cocktails on the terrace (try the Hugo Spritz) why would you want to leave?

The hotel sits on the top of a cliff with the reception at the very top. There is a very small (one car) spot to pull in for drop off or pickup. I have no knowledge of any parking offered as we didn't have a car. There is a small elevator that I am not sure is large enough for a wheelchair. A second elevator takes you down to the beach but there is a not a ramp to get to the beach, The stairs from the base of the elevator to the beach are about 2 floors. There are not handrails at all of these steps. I offer this as as advisement for mobility issues. The beach is full of small rocks that are hot and sharp. Bring shoes for the beach. One thing that I wasn't fully aware of was the cost to use the beach chairs each day. It's unusual to have to pay for a beach chair or umbrella with lodging. The food at the beach was good. You need a key to access electrical and air conditioning within your room, You can request a second key, however they will remove it while cleaning so expect the room to be warm when you return. There are amazing restaurants outside the hotel close by. Gabriel's Gelato is top notch within walking distance. If you use the transportation service aligned w/ the hotel be aware they might ask for cash. The staff are all exceptional. Vico is a very charming little town. We loved it.

Balcony view was incredible! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with beautiful sea view! staff was very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. Maid was very nice and rooms very clean. Hotel near eateries and train to Sorrento. if you want a nice view, get the balcony of view. Beach was very pretty with chairs and umbrellas for a small fee.
