Courtyard by Marriott Long Island Islip/Courthouse Complex

I liked that this property was in an area close to my family and well lit in the evening. The outdoor patio area was beautiful at night and the convenience of being able to grill was nice.

Dated property. Elevator stopped working, got stuck in it. There was something burning and the fire dept. had to be called out.

Overall very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything seems modern and well put together. Parking is easy and free. Would recommend if staying in the area

The outdoor area was a bit disheveled and could have been more inviting. The cushions and seating were in disarray.

Well check in went fine. Room was hot. Turned air on the lowest setting. Came back and it was still hot. All night and air sounded like a jet engine. Fridge was off and moldy and smelly. Turned it on and it went off by the time we got back.took over an hour to connect to WiFi. I had to call someone for help. Front desk didn’t know what else to do. Stain on rug looked like poop. I was sweaty all night due to the air not working. It was very late when we got back so didn’t ask for another room. Just wanted to sleep a little and leave asap

Bed was stained and received another room and bed was stained as well.

Everything was fine. A little vacuuming in the corners & crevasses is needed. The front desk worker named “alexis” was a real pro! He deserves a raise!

Loved the cleanliness of the place in general. As soon as you walk in it smells fresh and clean. The gentleman at the front desk was ultra friendly as well. My room looked exactly as it did online. No disappointments from me. We didn’t need to use it but the microwave and fridge were spotless too! We will be back!

The first night that I stayed, I was in a damp, mildew smelling room. The tissues, toilet paper, bed, pillows etc was all damp. The smell was very heavy. I was told there was not another room available. I had a terrible night, unable to sleep well after driving 7 hours alone. The next morning I had a sore throat and stuffy nose. I went in the take a shower and noted.mold on the bathroom wall. After informing the front desk they were able to change my room that afternoon. The day I checked out I asked to speak to the manager who apologize and I told her that I didn't ferl that I should be charged for that first night which she agreed. She said since I paid via Expedia they would refund me. I don’t understand because I paid in advance for my stay. I have yet to receive any credits to date. I love how the staff are very attentive and how its in a great location. What i didnt like about my stay was my bathroom toilet had stains that house keeping didnt clean, where i slept the wall had finger prints and side of my bed frame had black smudge of something that was not cleaned before we stayed in that room.

Hotel was clean and check-in was easy. Had some issues with the plumbing right next to the bed made a loud rumbling noise all night long every 8-10 minutes. Kept us awake all night. I would like our $ back!! Would not recommend.

A very average hotel. Improvements could be made in bed comfort. Climate control was loud and could not be lowered below 67. Size of room was sufficient but walls are thin, therefore you can hear the TV or people talking in the next room. Drinking water is not complimentary and costs $4.60.

Stayed for two nights on the third floor. Unfortunately, the poor insulation between floors allowed noise from the room above to disturb me throughout the night, preventing me from getting any sleep. The construction quality of the building is disappointing.

The room looked worn. The bed frame fabric was torn. Some of the wallpaper was peeling. The shower had no grab bar or tub grip. Was a bit scary to enter and leave shower. The room was quiet and comfortable. Bed was excellent.

Overall good place. AC would not go below 72 degrees so room temperature was uncomfortable. Will stay again.

we stayed 3 nights .. Upon check-in we were asked if we would like room service as it is only provided upon request. We said yes please. So on the second nothing was done . We told the person at the desk and requested it for the next day. Nothing was done. we had to go to the dest to request clean towels.

This was a TERRIBLE experience. We came up for a baseball tournament. The staff was rude and not helpful. They didn't clean our room 1 time over 3 days. I called each night when we would get back from the games and they left towels outside the door. Do not stay here

Very safe, clean, and nice facility. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful. Actually switched to this property from a rather terrible one, and was so relieved to find it in such great condition.

Restaurant was never open, they took a credit card from the guest and charged the full amount when her employer had already paid for it, she then had no money for food/cabs and had to leave. They would not refund the two nights left that she would not be staying. Terrible customer service.

Always clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Need being comfy is a must and this hotel never disappoints.

We only stayed here one night. The guests in the next room had their tv on all night incredibly loud. When I tried to call the front desk their was no answer.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and we had already stayed at the hotel days prior (11/26/25-11/28/25). We only checked out to stay closer to the venue and family on the actual wedding day (Black Friday, 11/28/25-11/29/25). We arrived on 11/30/25 at 2am to find out that our room had been given erroneously to another person with the same last name and I am apparently Jane and NOT Anthony like my i.d. says. Apparently, there were 3 other reservations with the same last name. After the front desk associate made a couple of calls, he was able to "upgrade" us to a room with a double queen and tub (45minutes later). I paid for a room with a king and a loveseat. It was NOT an upgrade. The following morning we had housekeeping at our door 3 separate times (even though the DO NOT DISTURB door hanger was on the door). It wasnt until I yelled and told them for a final time to, "go away", did they not return. After all of this, we went downstairs and had everything straightened out by Madison and Nitza. They fixed the room issue, gave us an actual upgraded room and were very apologetic. My main concern is the security of my personal information. How is it that whenever I check in (we travel frequently), I'm asked for my i.d.. Yet with my i.d. in hand, I'm being told that I'm someone else? You can't make that make sense. I will continue to use Hotels.com as this is the first (and hopefully the last incident), but I definitely want to be compensated for the trouble.

The condition of the property and room was fairly rundown. Wallpaper in room had stain spots from suspected water leaks. Ceiling above shower had signs of peeling. Shower area had moldy edges. Lighting inside room was fairly dim. The specific room I had also had a toilet that would constantly have this loud water pressure release sound every 10-15mins, making it impossible to be able to sleep through the night. The nearby area is also quite ghetto and unsafe to be out late.

The property was una safe area. There was plenty of dining options in walking distance. Transportation was conveniently available.

Great front desk service. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Close to shopping center.

Most properties include a complimentary breakfast of some sort. This property does not. I also am not a fan of the $20 per night fee for incidentals, which of course is returned if you don't need them.

Very nice room stocked with essentials for under $200. Friendly, pleasant staff & convenient bistro in lobby with good food.

My only recommendation for this facility is to provide a COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!! I believe this would greatly benefit your hotel business.

Our room was clean, everyone was very welcoming. Wish there was breakfast included, but yhere was a starbucks in the hotel.

Clean rooms great atmosphere and the bistro breakfast was awesome

Everything was great! Only thing that was unexpected was that there was not a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast service was great, but there is a charge.
