Check-in is located on the otherside of the street (two stories building). Situated by the bay. Nice stay. Staff was amazing!! I forgot a few items in the sheets of our room and they were nice enough to go out of their way and ship them to our home in Quebec. So appreciated!! <3

It’s the spitting image of a motel you get when you are too tired to drive and only need a bed. This motel appeared to be barely holding on, wifi off, green algae in the closed off pool, no other rooms occupied near me, basic tv, and town that people flee after high school or die in.

Wasn’t keen on our room being on a second level necessitating going up a deteriorating wooden steps. Also having to cross a busy highway to access the restaurant is not ideal. However the room was clean, had a mini fridge and microwave and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Front desk staff was nice and friendly, very pleasant. Everything else was not great. It was late when we arrived and we were extremely tired so we did not ask for another room. Hairs in the tub. Tons of cobwebs. Active spider web above tub. King mattress falls toward middle. AC was duck taped for its seal. Zero noise proofing. Age of room and poor repair noticeable. Shame because front desk staff was VERY NICE especially on the checkout.

This was a well priced and convenient spot for our family of 4 to lay our heads on our way to Cape Breton. The property and rooms are quite out dated however we found the staff very accommodating and the beds were very comfortable (clearly had been upgraded)

Restaurant had very good selection, servings big and pricing was reasonable. Outside of Motel not inviting (upkeep required) but the room was comfortable and so were the beds. You get what you pay for.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. The hotel we are told is undergoing renovations, but our room hadn’t been renovated yet. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and the smallest, lowest toilet I have ever seen. We did enjoy our stay, the aforementioned conditions didn’t hamper our stay.

we arrived at 7:40 pm in rainy darkness. Restaurant supposed to be open till 8, staff clearly indicated they were not iwanting to serve customers till the next morning. Phone in office not consistently answered before and after arrival. Air conditioner incredibly loud (old); ceiling fan in bathroom so noisy one person couldn't sleep while other was in the bathroom. Breakfast staff were friendly and food ok.

The drain in the bathtub was rusted and door sill was also rusty. Bath room plugs didn’t work and things we plugged in fell out of receptacles. Maintenance was non existent. Pics on request since it wouldn’t allow me to upload.

The drain in the bathtub was rusted and door sill was also rusty. Bath room plugs didn’t work and things we plugged in fell out of receptacles. Maintenance was non existent. Pics on request since it wouldn’t allow me to upload.

Restaurant had very good selection, servings big and pricing was reasonable. Outside of Motel not inviting (upkeep required) but the room was comfortable and so were the beds. You get what you pay for.
