This was the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed in. The stairwell (no elevator) was very dirty and the hallway carpet looked like it hadn’t been swept in a long time. The corners in my bathroom were all black, the ice machine was broken and dripping all over the floor, and laundry was piled high on the floor

There was mold on ceiling of our bathroom. They did not have any shampoo. I requested a ground level room both on line after I made the reservation and by phone call one week before. They put me on second floor.

To put it mildly, you get what you pay for. We killed cockroaches, furniture & beds were filthy, black moldlike growth on the hall ceiling, ice machine was out of order, vending machine was nearly empty. Just a few short years ago $50 - $60 bucks would get you a really good room. Not anymore! By the looks of the place, the housekeepers must’ve been on strike for some time! I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re strapped for cash or you’re so sleepy you can’t go any farther!!! Poor, Poor, Poor rating!!!

Not a 10 or a 2 for me, as some have rated. I rate this about a 6. The updates to an older hotel are about what I would expect, but I hope for more. The price was great. No extra charge for a dog is generous. The room was reasonably clean. The beds were comfortable. There is no breakfast, only coffee. Eating places are nearby with a car. Microwave and fridge provided. Soap but no shampoo. The left side security door would not lock. The clerk was informed. The stairwells were very dirty. Housekeeping was informed. The ice machine was not working but clerk unclogged the chute. OK for a night or 2 just passing through.

This Motel was fine, I wasn't expecting much for having paid $60 per night including taxes. I didn't feel unsafe. It was relatively clean, but nowhere near spotless. Pros: -Felt safe in the area -Easy to access -Free parking -Inexpensive -Good air conditioner, but it was loud. Cons: -No elevator, the stairwell was quite dirty. -Smelled like body odor, but I think that was just the person working there that day. (Sorry) -Rooms weren't particularly clean, but not disgusting. Nothing my can disinfectant wipes can't fix. General: -There is a gas station right next to it. -There is a prison approximately 40 miles away, but I didn't feel nervous. -There are two Braum's within 5 minutes of the motel.

Is says the whole place is none smoking but as soon as you walk in it smells strong like weed and mold mold throughout our room in the drawers on the window seal and it smelled horrendous we had to go to dollar general down the road to get air freshener we will never stay here again.

I’ve stayed in very nice and upgraded Motel 6 hotels before, but this was one of the worst ones. We checked in on a Friday & checked out that same Friday night! Our bed was INFESTED with bed bugs!!! I had to demand a refund, & thankfully I was able to get my money. It needs a lot of work, upgrade and to be cleaned properly. We stayed in room 132, I believe.

check in started out well. Bathtub was not clean and did not have a stopper to take a bath. TV would not work and had to have manager come and fix it. It quit again later that night so we had no TV for over half of our time. There were several roaches seen in the room and killed.

The room had a terrible musty smell. Day 2 it smelled less. I think it was coming from the ac.There was mold and mildew all in the bathroom. We had 2 rolls of toilet paper that both combined probaly made up half a roll. The mini fridge was frozen over and the plug ins throughout the room all looked burnt. The whole place has a creepy vibe with some kind of garden growing right outback (was visible from room). Next time Im in town Ill pay an extra $10-20 and skip this place. I gave it a 2 because the beds weren't bad and there was plenty of hot water.

The room was small but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was serviced daily. Refrigerator, tv, microwave, a/c all worked well. Hotel was quiet and felt safe. Bathroom was clean. Towels were small but snowy white. Bed was comfortable. Hallways and stairwell could have been cleaner.

This is an average motel. The bed was so hard I couldn’t sleep on my side because it would hurt my hip. It was pretty clean so no complaints there.

Low cost, room was clean, staff was nice. For the price I paid it was really worth it. I got a good night sleep. My room had a microwave, small refrigerator, TV and everything i needed. Bed was comfortable and pillos too. Best Motel 6 i ever stayed at.

Get what you pay for. Floors in my room were dirty. There was incessant hammering coming from somewhere near my room even though there were no construction signs or construction workers on site. This was after 6pm. Paper thin walls and with the open space beneath the room doors I could clearly hear a conversation going on in the adjacent room.

I stayed there almost 2 weeks and the front desk lady, Leah is the absolute best. She was so nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. I didn't have a good experience at the other one on south George nigh but this one is fantastic. Clean, quiet and comfortable!

We only stayed for a day. The hotel was quite unkempt, with mud tracked up and down the stairs, which made it seem like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The room itself wasn't terrible, but there was a filthy chair. We're not very picky since we were just looking for a place to sleep, but if cleanliness is important to you, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Additionally, the gentleman at the front desk was quite rude.

The service was not to be desired. I have stayed here several times before, this time around was different. The young woman that checked me in was not at all friendly. I felt like I was intruding on her personal time just by checking in. Morning coffee was late each morning. For a coffee drinker; this is unacceptable.

Very good. Daisy at the front, desk was friendly and professional, after I went to the room she asked me if everything was good: I said yes! Second time here, great prices and a first floor room which at 72 is a good thing.

Very good. Daisy at the front, desk was friendly and professional, after I went to the room she asked me if everything was good: I said yes! Second time here, great prices and a first floor room which at 72 is a good thing.

Pleasantly surprised by the refurbed condition of the property and the cleanliness and curb appeal. This is a lake / fishing area and many hotels are a bit worn. Really recommend for anyone visiting the area. Ample space. Good internet. Friendly staff. Easily accessible off the main highway without undue road noise. Thanks

This is a no-frills motel. It is off the beaten path and really not close to anything. If you just need a place to sleep, that is all it's good for.

This Motel was fine, I wasn't expecting much for having paid $60 per night including taxes. I didn't feel unsafe. It was relatively clean, but nowhere near spotless. Pros: -Felt safe in the area -Easy to access -Free parking -Inexpensive -Good air conditioner, but it was loud. Cons: -No elevator, the stairwell was quite dirty. -Smelled like body odor, but I think that was just the person working there that day. (Sorry) -Rooms weren't particularly clean, but not disgusting. Nothing my can disinfectant wipes can't fix. General: -There is a gas station right next to it. -There is a prison approximately 40 miles away, but I didn't feel nervous. -There are two Braum's within 5 minutes of the motel.

Nice affordable hotel. Nice laid back owner at front desk. QT is 24 hours and 1/4 mile away. McDonald's is 24 hours and 1 mile south off of HWY 69.

The staff were great! The reason for my low rating. The bath towels were way too small. The coffee station lacks napkins or paper towels of any sort. There should be coffee in each rooms.

Not a 10 or a 2 for me, as some have rated. I rate this about a 6. The updates to an older hotel are about what I would expect, but I hope for more. The price was great. No extra charge for a dog is generous. The room was reasonably clean. The beds were comfortable. There is no breakfast, only coffee. Eating places are nearby with a car. Microwave and fridge provided. Soap but no shampoo. The left side security door would not lock. The clerk was informed. The stairwells were very dirty. Housekeeping was informed. The ice machine was not working but clerk unclogged the chute. OK for a night or 2 just passing through.

The woman at check-in was personable & friendly. I was disappointed only with the morning coffee—they didn’t have lids for the plastic cups & when I asked, they said there were none. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this motel over a coupla others in McAlester, when I’ve had to stay there. This motel has totally changed my perception of a Motel Six!

The curtains were bearly hanging. There was thumbtacks holding the curtain to the side of the wall. Pillows were extremely flat. Went to front desk several times to get additional pillows, rang bell and no one showed up. . The room looked nothing like in the pics. You have to turn on the TV and volume by hand. The remote only works for changing channels. The shower,tub looked like it was spray painted. The only enjoyable thing was coffee in the morning.

Recently remodeled, very minimalist decor. Clean except a few corners where mop had left residue. No frills, no coffeemaker in room. Nice tv. However, comfortable bed, easy with a dog, and I would stay again.

The service was not to be desired. I have stayed here several times before, this time around was different. The young woman that checked me in was not at all friendly. I felt like I was intruding on her personal time just by checking in. Morning coffee was late each morning. For a coffee drinker; this is unacceptable.

It was awful the projects are right next door $3 for a Pepsi no ice said machine didn’t work sold me a hot bottle of water for $2 I had my 3yr old granddaughter with me no kind of anything in the snack machine for her to eat because there was no breakfast and then I was told there was no water and it wasn’t their fault I should have slept in my car and saved my $67

Appearance looks good but things change when you get inside. Rooms have mold in bathrooms showers, hallways were not clean, air conditioning units were leaking in the rooms I’ve stayed in and one room wasn’t even cleaned up

The desk manager became angry about the price I paid. I told him to take it up with Hotels.com. The room smelled bad. Chair, Window mattress, bedding, bathroom were filthy. One roll of toilet paper had feces on top. The toilet seat was not bolted down, therefore both my grandson and I almost fell. Upon checking the window to be secure, it was unlocked and easy to open (on the ground floor/back of building.) This location was always so clean. Not any more.

Horrible experience all around. We stayed here for over a week and stayed in 2 different rooms and neither had good AC so the room was warm the entire time. Horrible!

We cancelled our stay after check in because of how dirty and small the room was. There was evidence of bugs everywhere and the mattress was old and severely stained. Mattress covers were torn and not even properly on the mattresses. Walls had stains and the bathroom looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. There were either urine or tobacco stains on the walls and we were supposedly in a non-smoking room. We were able to get our money back 3 days later.

When I checked in at 8 pm, I was asked if It would be ok to get a different room, apparently they gave my original room away to another person. Because I was not there at 2 pm on the dot. Then I agreed on getting a different room that smelt like mold & mildew, the bath tub and toilet looked like it vomited up water , toilet paper all over the bathroom . Went told the attendant person I wanted another room. So they gave me another room, with joining rooms with doors. While the next day I left to go do things when I got back to the room that evening the joining door to my room was locked on my side. I was upset, about that. I will never stay there again. I give a 0 on cleanliness, no venting machines was operating, the conditions on the room it self was needing repairs, door locks, noisy all night, ppl walking and stomping, talking loud, only coffee in the mornings, the smell alone in the lobby was stomach churning. Only good thing was the air conditioning was good, the toilet, bathroom was clean and operational in the room I stayed in. Disabled room / handicapped accessible.
