J'ai passé un séjour d'une nuit, super agréable, l'hôtel est bien équipé et le spa était propre et bien équipé également. Dans ce spa il y a 2 zones avec et sans textile correctement indiqués. Le restaurant est plutot correct mais c'est pas le point fort de l'hôtel en globalité. Le personnel est également très cordial et à l'écoute.

Nous avons séjourné un week end, la chambre était spacieuse, très propre. L'ensemble de l'établissement est très soigné. L'espace piscine, spa et détente est très agréable avec jacuzzi et bains de soleil également à l'extérieur. L'établissement est situé dans un cadre de verdure très calme. Le seul hic... Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel, les plats sont bons, mais vous avez une très longue attente : 2 heures en moyenne pour toutes les tables (et il n'était pas plein).

Insgesamt eine schöne Anlage. Es gibt neu renovierte und ältere Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind groß und entsprechen den Beschreibungen. Schwimmbad und Sauna sind modern und ohne viel Chi Chi. Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gibt, es gibt keine Wechselhandtücher. Alles ist sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Restaurant ist leider Mittwochs und Donnerstags geschlossen, das hätte man vorher oder in der Buchungsbestätigung mitteilen können. Frühstück ist gut und es gibt genügend Auswahl.

Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Leider die Nachtschränke mit kl. Härcen bewohnt. Bad: Hottelföhn sehr schmutzig und verstaubt. Heizkörper sind verstaubt (schon länger nicht gereinigt). Sauna und Schwimmbad wie auch Ruheraum absolut TOP. Leider muss ich sagen das ich an einem Vormitag 3 Std. gnaz alleine in den Bereichen war: Von Personal oder wie auch überwachung habe ich niemanden gesehne. Deshalb Punkto sicherheit -- mangelhaft. Bei ankuft hat der 2te Aufzug nicht funktioniert, und da es wie ein Labürint war zum Zimmer zu kommen war es mühsam sich zurechtzufinden. Auch nachdem ich zu Rezeption zurückgegangen bin hat mich keiner zum Zimmer begleitet, da muste ich mich in dem Labürint zurechtfinden nachdem auch das Licht auf dem Sockwerk nicht funktionierte. Komisch war es auf jeden Fall. Das Bett und die Kissen sind sehr einladend und bequm. Frühstück war auch Top mit reichlich ausahl.

Second visit to this lovely hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. We chose a Superior Mountain View room which had a large balcony overlooking the village and mountain back drop. The room was large with luxury fittings. The restaurant is in the pricey side and there could be more choice of options. It is not open at lunch or on Sunday night.

Bel hôtel. Point négatif : j'avais réservé une chambre "supérieure" rénovée ( nouveau design) et on m'avait donné une chambre classique ( ancien design), après changement, la nouvelle chambre n'était préparée que pour 1 seule personne... Belle piscine, des terrasses ensoleillées partout, 2 saunas ( dont un pour nudistes), 1 jacuzzi... Gros plus pour moi: possibilité de recharger sa voiture électrique et ceci sans supplément ! ( 2 pour Tesla 1 pour autres marques) Beau buffet du petit déjeuner. 1 monsieur parle français à la réception.

J'ai passé un séjour d'une nuit, super agréable, l'hôtel est bien équipé et le spa était propre et bien équipé également. Dans ce spa il y a 2 zones avec et sans textile correctement indiqués. Le restaurant est plutot correct mais c'est pas le point fort de l'hôtel en globalité. Le personnel est également très cordial et à l'écoute.

Second visit to this lovely hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. We chose a Superior Mountain View room which had a large balcony overlooking the village and mountain back drop. The room was large with luxury fittings. The restaurant is in the pricey side and there could be more choice of options. It is not open at lunch or on Sunday night.

Insgesamt eine schöne Anlage. Es gibt neu renovierte und ältere Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind groß und entsprechen den Beschreibungen. Schwimmbad und Sauna sind modern und ohne viel Chi Chi. Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gibt, es gibt keine Wechselhandtücher. Alles ist sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das Restaurant ist leider Mittwochs und Donnerstags geschlossen, das hätte man vorher oder in der Buchungsbestätigung mitteilen können. Frühstück ist gut und es gibt genügend Auswahl.

Très bel hôtel, calme, confortable avec de spacieuses chambres (presqu’un appartement) et bien situé dans la région de la Forêt Noire. Le personnel est discret et aux petits soins pour vous aider. Les services sont conformes: message, piscine, jacuzzi, salle de repos, … Le petit déjeuner propose un choix très varié de produits frais et des pâtisseries à tomber par terre. Le restaurant bistronomique offre un bon rapport qualité /prix. Idéalement situé pour visiter la région de Baden-Baden à Freudenstad et intérieur de la Forêt noire. Proche de Colmar et Strasbourg pour des visites alsaciennes. Bref très bon séjour pour nous. Seul bémol, l’hôtel ne propose pas de vélos à la location comme stipulé dans l’annonce, il faut les louer dans la ville voisine… moins pratique.

Perfect Weekend Getaway in the Black Forest We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sonnenhof Hotel & Restaurant in the Black Forest. My wife and I spent the weekend here, and everything exceeded our expectations. The spa and wellness area were outstanding — very clean, relaxing, and perfectly maintained.
